move smoothly, dont put explosiveness into your movement, like your gliding, or your a balloons bouncing on the ground. You will be a tad bit slower but you will be able too keep it up the whole round wich is more important then being a little faster.

Consistency is the key, if you don’t use it, you lose it. Footwork is very difficult to work on and master is something even the pros never do but if I could recommend anything to anyone new to the sport, repetition is key with punches but footwork and fundamentals is the difference in boxing.
beautiful these are the drills I used to do for rhythm and distance I recommend studying Evander Holyfield , he is the master this drill also helps build the internal clock only thing I'm not seeing is stance switching
@@keysessoms Good , I also recommend studying Bernard Hopkins because he is amazing at strategy He can puppet his opponent and draw in the punch he wants him to throw and counters really well my 3 favorite boxers are Holyfield , Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr Tyson is overrated and Holyfield is a better
Hi mate. I'm just wondering what you think about moving both feet simultaneously on the jab versus stepping in with you lead foot and bringing your back foot forward whilst your jab comes back to your chin
are those ankle weights on you? And do you recommend ankle weights at all if I’m a beginner? Just started to learn boxing so Im watching a crap load of footwork videos
You use your less dominant hand to throw jabs and your dominant hand for heavier if that makes sense. Ur non dominant hand should set up your dominant hands attack. If that makes sense
@@keysessoms yea x) it’s just our coach would make us do drills for hours on it and like mix em up too with knees up and down fast and slow backwards forwards with a ball and without it + different steps 🫠
get light on your feet by drilling footwork, jumping rope, jogging and building up flexibility and elasticity in your ankles and bounce in your step (it takes time and ALOT of repetition).
Almost thought this was Terence Crawford
I get that so much it is crazy. lol
😂 I did to!!!

How are you so light on your feet can u give me your best drills or tips thank you
Jump rope and you'll see improvements. Agility ladders help as well. You can also use cones. Do the box drill as well.

@@acts9835 ahhh i hear u get that rhythm
@@balentincamargo5248 yes, be as relaxed as possible, the more relaxed the better. Dont worry about speed
Just relax, like Bruce Lee said be like water
Those shoes are 🔥
Thank you. I customized them, but now Nike came out with them lol
I’ll definitely try these out when I don’t have time to go to the boxing gym when I’m home
Let me know how they work out.

I have one of my fighters doing a two week film study of Evander Holyfield.

You look so fluid , I’m tryna get like that 🔥🔥
Start dancing if you dont already and practice blending the two
For conditioning for an amateur fight, how long would you do this for, and how many rounds?
This is awesome! May go buy some ladders tomorrow!
Have fun with it and be creative.
So smooth
Thank you
Hi mate. I'm just wondering what you think about moving both feet simultaneously on the jab versus stepping in with you lead foot and bringing your back foot forward whilst your jab comes back to your chin
I think it is all situational, but both can be useful to have in the arsenal
Good stuff
Thank you

Na im not using ankle weights and I wouldnt recommend them
I was about to say that man did everything even his shoes like Terence Crawford 😂
I think Crawford ties his shoes.
@@keysessoms there’s old training videos of him having it like that… but not THAT loose 🤣 good work though
Nice vid, keep em coming
Thanks, will do!
Do u use your more dominant hand to punch ?
I dont full understand the question, but if you asking what I think. I am right handed so my dominant hand is my back hand.
You use your less dominant hand to throw jabs and your dominant hand for heavier if that makes sense. Ur non dominant hand should set up your dominant hands attack. If that makes sense
Is it correct that u don't lift your heel when throwing intermediate punches? The heel is lifted only for the last punch?
You can actually do both. It really depends on how much you are trying to put into each shot.
@@keysessoms Great! Thank you 😊🙏🏻
Definitely

He’s 5’3, it’s easier for shorter ppl to be quick as hell.
Honestly, most of my footwork comes from dancing. Also I am really small so that may help with my quickness I guess.
What’s with the extra loose/untied boots.
Is it some fashion statement
yea sort of a fashion thing that was born out of pure laziness
