I'm not disagreeing, I use fridge temperature butter instead of room temperature butter, I get a much different consistency out of the cookie Also, why do you use white sugar with the brown sugar instead of just the brown sugar? Once again not disputing, I'm just curious why your recipe differs here compared to all other recipes I've seen. I like to understand why I'm doing things

Room temp allows the ingredients to spread more evenly in the batter. Brown sugar gives a slightly different flavor. 👍🏼
