Near the end of the movie, when Rose and Jack are at the back of the ship, Rose is looking at a blonde girl for a long time, and she's looking back, then the girls falls off. I always wondered why Rose was looking at her in that way, now I see she's Helga in that scene, thanks!!

I feel like this scene though would be important as it makes really no sense for her to suddenly jump up from dinner and run straight to commit suicide, even if we know that she doesn't want to marry him. It's not a typical human reaction by anyone to suddenly decide to commit suicide in .5 seconds. But even before that, she mentioned that she got tired of the repetitive, high class lifestyle she was in and how she was portrayed. This would be perfect for her to truly show that (ripping off the gloves, letting her hair down, throwing the expensive jewelry and dishes everywhere).It puts it into perspective of how tired she was of it. It gives the situation more depth and seriousness to it.
I've read an article saying that it was cut shorter because they thought nobody's gonna watch a 4 hr long movie. But they were wrong! I would love to watch its extended version. 💕

You watch them and its basically nothing ? well not so with titanic, all 29 quality deleted scenes could have made it to the final cut. My opinions on each deleted/extended scene: I feel they should have kept this since it gave more development for Rose and Cal at the beginning from before she met Jack, and we get to know more about Trudy the maid. The scene of Rose’s breakdown should have been kept since it helps build up her decision to kill herself rather than just be so sudden like it was in the movie. While I didn’t notice this the 1st time, I realized this scene needed to stay in because it addresses/resolves a plot hole that most people never realized. If you just watch the modern day scenes, the group suddenly changes clothes without any explanation provided, but this shows that this was a 2 day retelling of Rose on Titanic (which most people probably never noticed). It also adds more chemistry/development for Brock and Lizzy, (as well as more of Lewis and Bobby), and adds on to Brock’s motivation/statement from the end of the movie. And the end explains how Jack got up on 1st class to talk with Rose and adds more screen time to the side characters (though I don’t feel it is as necessary as other scenes).
I know it's not that funny, but I actually laughed when Luis said "All you had to do was wait two days." My favorite deleted scene was Rose going down to 3rd class. I wished they put that in the movie. I always thought the little girl was only with her dad. I had no idea she had a mom.
1:58-5:27 I used to wonder when we cut back to present day after the bow scene with Jack and Rose why Old Rose and everyone else had suddenly changed clothes from earlier. Now I see there was an earlier cut back to the present where Old Rose gets tired, goes off to bed and continues the flashback next day.
They should have kept all of the scenes. For the 3-D version coming in theaters, they should include these. And on the DVD as well. Just more to the story is always better (:
