It’s showing respect Just because you don’t understand it or don’t care. Doesn’t mean you can’t go another route, turn around or wait it out. As an example, I work 30 mins from home. Daily I leave 1-1.5hrs before work. I don’t know what accidents, construction, weather or whatever other thing are going to be out on the road or blocking it. That way if I’m delayed I should have enough time to still make it in time by using an alternate route. Or I just get there I have more than enough time to take my time and walk 20 mins from the employee parking lot to where I actually work inside. And have time to get something to drink and or eat if I so choose to do so on the way in wether it’s still in the car before I park or inside and I hit a vending machine or a kiosk/shop, and I can chat with whoever I run into as well. There almost no way to get fired where I work…except being late or missing work, and it’s double bad if you don’t call and have a valid reason. If you can’t time manage correctly or understand that shit happens and it’s out of your control, sorry for your hard life. But take a minute and respect others who are paying their respects and don’t be a jerk.

Definitely a waste of our taxpayers money. I understand respecting the dead, but you're going to close a highway to disrupt everyone's life for a funeral ⚱️
just because no one will care and do as much for you when you’re time comes doesn’t mean you have to ruin it for everyone else
@@883jpbfound the bootlicker
It’s showing respect
Just because you don’t understand it or don’t care.
It's not, it's just the usual American indoctrination
Cops like this deserve all the respect what a chill guy prolly loves his life god boss this dude
Good cop and good rider I just love friendly interactions like this
I'll never forget my first time in MD I was on the opposite side of the road and was pulled over for not stopping for a funeral procession on the other side, I looked that cop dead in the eye and said "will I make them late? I didn't know them, think they care about me right now, the dead are dead let me pass bro... I'm on the other side"
Just a cop on a power trip, nothin unusual
Did it work?
I saw the same crap in Alabama
That's a great police officer. That is what we expect from our public servants. Thank you, Sir.
While i dont mind a funeral prococession i do think it should be a close guided group. If they want to clear a way they add 2 coos in front and back (obviojsly they have the nan power here to close each exit). Closeing down the entire highway is stupid for a length while we can barely see each other they are so far apart
Good thing is that they share the same road and respect...that's awesome dude🤘
This is stupid. He waited long to get behind
my dad is always apart of these good to see other ppl are respectful of it even non motorists
Its sad that someone died but blocking off a highway for funeral is kinda weird. Making tons of people late to where they need to be.

Much respect. Thanks for staying by the sidelines and not trying to run ahead and interrupt the precession 🤙🏻
