I recently bought a griii to start photography as a hobby but all other yt photographers want to talk about is gear and taking “aesthetic” or “good” photos. You care about storytelling and photography as an art-which makes you by far my favorite lately.

It might be worth checking with an attorney to see if you have a case against the gym. Even though you signed a waiver releasing them of liability you may still be able to bring a case against them. At least the state I'm in those waivers are meaningless, just a way to get people to think they can't sue.

I got unlucky a few years ago where all my luggage was stolen from my vehicle including all my camera equipment and I was just very lucky that it was covered under my renters insurance. No matter the amount though, it sucks having things taken. I think we were all hoping for more exciting camera news but I think we can at least agree you've taken a lot of great images with the Ricoh. Now would be a great time for news about a GRIV though.
oof losing a luggage while traveling is one of my worst nightmares. yeah i briefly looked into my renter's insurance and see what the plan can do, but i was too overwhelmed that i didn't do an in-depth search. i probably should look into that some more..

That's exactly where my mind went. And that's the reason the gym hasn't shared their findings. If it is employee, they would have to reimburse everyone for their stolen items. Crappy ownership. I hope you have since canceled your membership.

OMG she lost the ricoh! I never get insurance unless its for cars because stuff happens and insurance wont cover your feeling of loss.
