This song was actually written by Axl Rose & Paul Tobias in 1981 4 years prior to the formation of Guns N’ Roses in 1985. Also this song has grown on me over the years and I absolutely love it. Also GNR has a lot of curse words in their songs lol. But I love it. Nobody says the word “Fuck” with more venom than Axl lol.
You can tell how old a GNR song is by how many curse words it has in it. The earlier a song, the more cursing in the lyrics. Axl's lyrics got progressively cleaner as he aged.
capoditutticapos19 yeah but you can’t do One in a Million lol. The video will get flagged fast. Being the lyrics contain the N-word, gay slurs Etc. Misunderstood song as it’s hard to understand what Axl was trying to say and the message he was putting out but it’s hard to grasp Bc the lyrics are so harsh and offensive. But even in the 80’s GNR got shit for it. Can’t imagine the hate they would get in 2020 lol. But GNR never performed the song live. It was just a single song on that EP. Being Slash is 1/2 black he wasn’t a fan of the song but he understood what Axl was trying to say. It was the opposite of racism, homophobia etc. But most people can’t grasp that behind the offensive lyrics. Why I never recommend anyone to react to the small EP.
This song sounds a bit more like a few of the songs on the back side of this album. Don’t Damn Me & The Garden have a similar vibe. Also Alice Cooper does the chorus in The Garden.
You need to react to the following GNR classics Nightrain You Could be mine Dead Horse Get in the Ring Don’t Damn Me Civil War Welcome to the Jungle Outta Get Me Paradise City Double Talkin Jive Perfect Crime Coma Anything Goes Rocket Queen GUNS N’ ROSES- FOREVER 🤘🤘
The better songs are on their way. This album starts slow but greatly improves. You'll love 'Double Talkin Jive', 'Dead Horse', 'Locomotive', 'You Could Be Mine'. 'Back of Bitch' is good but definitely not a classic by any means. Appetite For Destruction will always stand above The Illusion albums especially because of its raw sound. The drums sound less so on this overly produced album. That's just the way music started to sound at that time with over production.
Appetite is the better album & more legendary. BUT many of GNR’s best songs came off the Illusion Albums IMO: Estranged, November Rain, Civil War, Don’t Cry & You Could Be Mine are some of their best work.
@@80skidjon17 I agree......November Rain, Don't Cry and others from The Illusion albums are their best work but mostly that is only natural as a band is meant to grow over time. Guns N Roses hit the world with bang but also hit their peak far earlier than it should have been. I understand its because of many issues but such a shame. The greatest band of all at their prime.
There is no winner... all their albums are amazing, appetite is more raw and hungry, illusions is blues rock and epic grand scale 10 minute songs... I don't find any weak songs on any of the original albums (my world doesn't count haha)
I thought it was about Axl's crazy neighbor complaining about Wild Parties. He even got arrested because she tried to hit him with a wine bottle but he took it away and hit her with it. I thought that's what he said after getting out on bail, and driven back to his apartment in a Limo.
By that logic Slither is a gnr song. CD has a couple good tracks on it, but it's so overproduced. I like most of the demos more than the album versions.
I disagree, Slither was never released under the GnR banner. CD songs are and have been accepted by Slash and Duff. If anything the inclusion of Slither shows Axl’s acceptance of Slash and Duff’s music ventures after GnR.

They played it a lot in the very early years like shadow of your love
I love this one!
The way Axl goes,
Oh, ohohoh, oh, ohoh, oh, ohohoh
Best voice in Rocks history
i love this song haha
Slash's playing got even better on illusions than appetite.... its legendary in guitar world what he did on these two albums
This is an anti-Karen anthem
💀
Do GNR Lies as well, the short second album between Appetite and UYI albums.

@@80skidjon17 Almost never performed but was a couple times early on.
Janman81 well not on their tours. I don’t believe.

I think the illusion albums are better than appetite, appetite is good, but too poppy for me

Ok. I'm ready for more of this illusion rosegunmen. Standby for a like.
Yey
Damn right bro! This is the G N’ R I remembered. The greatest band that ever existed in my opinion. This song should be MGTOW’s anthem.
🤘🏼😁
Fun fact, this song is about my ex wife!
nah it was about my first gf from the restaurant I worked at, she cheated on me with a waiter and I used to play this song whenever she was working 😂
Use Your Illusion 2 all the way...
Chinese democracy great album never got it's fair shout some great songs on there too
Dave Mcconville but not a Guns N Roses album. Axl solo album using the GNR name
Look axl voice is gnr in my view everyone has there own take, that's mine, so Chinese democracy to me is a gnr album to u it's not that's ur rite
Dave Mcconville I agree. Slash and Duff also played songs from it on the tour so if they can accept it then so should everybody else.

This chanel is guns and roses reaction only xd
You are clearly in over your head. React to something soft 😮
