The first time I heard this song it made me cry. It was so spot on. "I" was this girl in High School. I can hear the boy I treated like this as if he was singing the lyrics. Actually...I don't have to imagine that...I finally "Found out why" I was running away from love, 25 years AFTER High School. Then I found and married that boy! My husband of 14 years now, just sang the lyrics to me when I played the video. :-) It's never too late to live Happily Ever After.

Going through my song list today I came across Micheal Rays song Get to you and as I sat there and listened to every word and as tears run down my face I remember a few years back this song had such an impact on my life because the words described me in all facts it was exactly what I was doing I felt someone trying to get to me and all of my hurt and broken heart kept me from the best thing love had to offer me so full of pain I did not see it or hear it and God knows I pray every day for it to come back for that someone that fell in love to have just told me instead of leaving it for me to figure out I was so scared to trust again to love again everyone knows that a broken heart hurts it truely hurts and fills you with the worst pain ever but now I know you can not let it consume you let it cause you to lose yourself because happiness depends on yourself I truely miss someone that someone so very much and to this day i have been working on my trust issues and praying for love to come back into my heart once again this song helps me to remember and to think and to try my best to continue staying strong and to believe there is love and someone out there for me and Michael Ray thank you for your words I have never heard a song that described me my heart and a state of mind I once was in and that I let a love pass me by without knowing it...but I'm going to find it and love more than anyone has ever known real true love...

His album has a lot of hurt. His heart was broken bad. He was hitting rock bottom. After 8 months she didn't want married anymore. Not fair to him. I'm 61 was married 42 yrs been 2 yrs of his passing unexpectedly. But this poor guy , wow but hope will find love again.
