Hi, nice build, I am thinking of buying the MT5 FABIO WIBMER SIGNATURE EDITION and I think it doesn't have a bite point adjustment. Is it something u might miss ? I have some cheap Sram that I cannot adjust the bite point which drives me nuts. But maybe the Bite point is just better on the Maguras ?
Thank you. 😎🤙🏻 for me is adjustment of the brake lever very important but the brake point you can adjust with a sram rsc brake or MT7. The brake lever adjustment is possible with the MT5 Wibmer Edition. They have a HC-1 brake lever and you can adjust but not the brake point. For a perfect bite point is also very important to remove all air in your bleed process. After install a new brake system and bleeding I use the bike 50-100km and I bleed again the system to remove the air bubbles.
@@MTBFichtelhills So can the bite point be adjusted during the bleeding process? Is that what you mean? If I took away the bite point away from your MT7's would you miss it?
I know it has nothing to do with the video but maybe you had the same thoughts? Pros and cons of 180mm and 203mm rotors? Why did you chose the 203mm version?
203mm Pros: More brake power, better heat management Cons: more weight 180mm Pros: less weight Cons:less breake power But you have to ask yourself what you need. If you are a Biker with 80kg + so it’s better to use a 203 rotor. If you ride more Downhill and u need more brake power so use 220mm rotors.
Do you have to bleed the system when cutting a new install? Magura videos seemed to indicate that a bleed wasnt necessary, but I dont know how you prevent air from getting into the system when you customize the lines. Any confirmation on what comes in the MT Trail Sport kits?
Is better you bleed the system after cutting the lines after a complete process you’re 100% safe all air is out. MT Trail I don‘t know but if you mean a bleed kit you have to buy it separately.
Hello, my fork has a minimum rotor size of 200, however I need the 203 for the magura discs, do you have any idea how can I get some sort of adapter to make it from 200 to 203?
Where can I get those plastic end caps you used when feeding the brake cable through your frame Also at the end u changed out those yellow pistons for silver ones where can I get those I also have yellow and want silver
MTB Fichtelhills oh that’s awesome! nice video btw the music couldn’t be more relaxing I just ordered mt7 magura front an rear I’m going to install Mag brakes on my full Stache 8 🤗 wish me luck
I have MT7's on the rear, dont look at them funny lest they get air in the system. Most expensive yet most crap brake levers Ive ever had. Calipers are great though.

Where did you get that spacing tool to center your brake rotors
What rotors did you use. It looks like you put them on backwards
The rear is.
At 9:10, are you burping the brake system to get the air out? I assume you did this for the rear brake as well?
Absolut hochwertiges video
Vielen Dank 😊
Tremendously good video, showing all the little -and important- details for an easy and precise installation. Well done and thanks a ton. 🙏🏼🤙🏼

Did you used the same sram adapter in the front brake or did you installed a magura’s one?
No on this bike we use a Shimano Adapter for 203mm brake disc (for 203mm Magura brake disc) a sram adapter wouldn’t fit.
MTB Fichtelhills perfecto!
If I order MT 7 brakes does it include both front and rear, or they are sold individually?
You can buy them individually or as a set.
Yes you can buy it a set or as stand alone kit.
really good and usefull video
Why did you install the rear rotor backwards?
That‘s a good question 😬 I think we sleep in this part of the video but you have good eyes 😉

10:06 Danger! Rotor is mounted backwards.

The air in the system is sometimes really annoying. but take a little more time to bleed the air and it will work.
very unprofessional
