Hi Doctor, I’m only 30 but I had to have an emergency hysterectomy after the birth of my first child a couple of years ago. I still have my ovaries and everything else except my uterus. I’ve read that a hysterectomy can start perimenopause even if you still have ovaries. My joint pain is so intense when it hits me and this is often paired with a day or two of exhaustion. I’m wondering if it’s possible if I may be experiencing a hormonal imbalance of estrogen! Everything you are saying feels so applicable to what I have been going through in regards to this strangely cyclical joint pain and exhaustion I seem to experience almost monthly. I’m calling my doctor about this!
Any update about your situation? I am 38, had same surgery as you and my bones are killing me. I also have other symptoms. I had my surgery a few months ago.
