Yes “acting as if” is SO SO powerful. I got out of a very severe depression by imagining how my ideal self would be and one day I was like “fuck it” I’m gonna act as my ideal self and do the things my ideal self would do. Sounds very simple but it is indeed very powerful.

so get the help you need
    - affirmations
    - Speak and act as if you already have what you need
    - invest in yourself ( exercise, get up early to meditate to medidtate , take 30 mins out of the day for yourself)
    - pray more!!! grow yourself spirtually
    - surround youraself with what charges you!
    - LISTEN TO YOUR INTUITION!

I honestly almost cried. I have been struggling with depression since I was a child and I realized a huge part of combating it IS delusion/manifestation and romanticizing my life. I was doing well as a microinfluencer but stopped posting for a year after dealing with obsessive fans. It’s been so hard to keep pushing but I truly needed to see this, thank you.

that's how I pulled myself out of it! one of my therapists said "fake it til you make it" when I was 15 and it stuck with me. The repetitive positivity is what you'll eventually believe even if you don't at first.

Mannnn I did cry. I can feel myself coming out of this depressive state and I’m honestly working on everything this video talks about. I learned from so many resources and pretty much took these things away now it’s applying. Learning to give myself grace in this journey, I’m 19 and I and a college student in Akron Ohio but I also feel that college and Akron may not serve me anymore. I’m finding myself, I love my self. Everyone love yourself, even if you have to lie to yourself, self-love is the true key

This is so true. Five years ago I was super stressed and depressed. I ended up in the hospital with migraines. Finally, I realized I needed a new life. I (and my boyfriend) sold all my (our) stuff and left the US and traveled full time for three years. We visited or lived in 18 countries. I let go of so much stuff and became freer. I became a better manifester. I stopped taking America so seriously. And I discovered what I really want for my life. What I did was a huge life shift and I'm so blessed that I was able to reset through travel. I'm back in the US now following through on my dreams.

We worked freelance gigs online with American companies as we traveled and we positioned ourselves as luxury home sitters, so we rarely paid for housing, but we were in amazing homes most of the time. I'm launching a RUclips channel this week that dives into living as nomads. Stop by if you'd like to get more info. We're back in the states temporarily for a work contract my partner has here in Los Angeles, but we're still living nomadically. We're not renting an apartment. I definitely resonated with this video. I started getting traction on Tiktok but my health declined tremendously(black outs, anxiety attacks, car accidents, and more). I had to unexpectedly drop everything to focus on my mental health for over 6 months. As of today, I'm doing so much better and I'm building the confidence to get back on there. Like you said, some days I just lay in bed and listen to a podcast and that's enough. Today, I completed my laundry and I was happy with that. Pilates, daily nature walks, and Abraham Hicks have definitely helped. I needed this video!

Nutrition, and how it can effect your hormones/imbalances.
Plants and being in nature, reducing stress, mindfulness meditation, praying, journaling, yoga, swimming, walking in nature, removing toxic negative people. Therapy/counselling, self-compassion/kindness.

This is honestly maybe one of the best pieces of advice you can give to someone who's depressed. When someone is depressed, their negative emotions are amplified and they perhaps tend to be hypersensitive to everything, especially to negative emotion. Speaking from personal experience, I think depression makes you make your own situation worse than it actually is (I.e., a delusion). Of course in some cases the circumstances match the person's mental state, but there are also people who are objectively in a decent place (they have a roof over their head, food, a job/education, some sort of family, etc.) who are extremely depressed. Perhaps the solution to that, especially for someone who is feeling hopeless and like there's no other way out of their depression, is to literally go to the other extreme (I.e., make a positive delusion) and mentally convince yourself that you're happy (then do things that match that mentality).

Hi Bria! I’m a relatively new subscriber and follower of yours, I found you last year and have loved your videos. This one in particular, I found myself just relating to almost everything. Being delusional, reframing failure, becoming more spiritual, experiencing novelty, being depressed and not wanting to leave the bed for days on end.. thank you for being so open and inspiring! xx

I always manifest quick when I become delusional. It’s fun for me because I could create many realities in my mind.

This video literally found me. Thank you for sharing your story. For months, a 3 years, I felt like a fraud. Even with my own self hype, affirmations, self romanticism I (I come from poor self esteem), I felt I was a delusional selfish b*tch. Depression, negative thoughts, you name it. Yknow, thoughts like “I’m kidding myself. I’m such a fraud. I’m nobody” ect for me. I thought I was the only one! I relate and I thank you for sharing

New subscriber here! I just watched your video about the abundance mindset the other day and pretty much immediately subscribed! I’ve watched a few of your videos now, but this one definitely resonated with me because I’m currently trying to find my way through my depression. I’m blessed to have a good support system around me, but so many unfortunately suffer in silence. It’s wonderful when someone uses their platform to talk about their experiences and the work they put into getting back to a good place. Thank you so much for being so vulnerable and transparent about your journey!

The game of life works like this:
•You join the game (you didn't ask to)
•You create your character based on what you think you identify more (personality, aesthetics, inspiration in general...)
•Now you basically play, you can make plans for the future, you can meet some other players, you can adopt a pet... you can work.. Yeah that's the game of life!
Remember you can go to the next phase of this game if you believe in God and trust his promises. I recommend the Adventist religion because they base their teachings directly on Bible. ❤

so happy you are doing so much better now. i totally agree to just about everything said. you have to decide who you wanna be, then take those small steps to be her! i go through funks/ bouts of depression and i let myself feel bad and fall off, but then remind myself i can’t stay there.
