I have been asked several times how I painted these little flowers. I painted these many years ago, and I believe Sunset Peonies - is where I gathered inspiration for the Poppy on the left. Although I give everything my twist, and we don’t paint the same, I loved the wide flat, and side-facing Peony. Check her out; she has some cute little bunnies and Whimsy too! / @sunsetpeonies

Thank you It’s Definately a tricky technique wet in wet. But with lots of practice and patience you will get beautiful results. And that is the magic I love that I’ve only achieved with watercolors :) Happy painting friend🌸🎨

Im thrilled to hear that, I lead my new students in my workshops to paint more of a damp on damp, as it is much easier to paint with and control in the beginning. I have them Custom Made by Mistceramics She’s on Etsy and IG. She doesn’t always make them I think they are a little Time consuming . They are wonderful though I have several. Happy Paintjng! 🎨🌸

I use a watercolor pencil in order to make my basic pattern …if it will be a yellow flower then I will use a yellow watercolor pencil 2:23
Perfect, yes watercolor pencils are a wonderful way to sketch your paintings without leaving "pencil" lines Have fun!

It is the brush you see me using in most of my older videos. (I now use my own brushes) Here is a link, its the brush I have used since college decades ago if you take care of them they last forever... I hope that helps~
