- I made this little vid to cover the differences between the throttle curve and the programable throttle.
This feature will help you tune your esc with out the need for an expensive radio.

Kindly, I have an xlx2 and don't have all these settings, so I had to use the radio to make some adjustments like you did, but when I left the punch of the esc at 0% which is full power, the esc was stalling on the starting line, so I had to make it to 100% maybe next time I try 50% or something in between!
Meanwhile the graph is good and it works.

StewMac I watch all of your vids always great info, I’m wondering on program throttle do you just put Futaba on 1 stage 100%??
For programmed throttle yeah you just use a normal throttle. Just use the single speed and set it to 100%.
In the esc I would set the activation to 30% throttle so it will give you 30% worth of throttle to drive the car back on.

Just got my cobra 8 ace in the programed throttle settings don't seem to be doing anything even set to 2% for 1 second

Thank you StewMac for everything you do for us, and showing us your runs not just talking, so I do have another question, I'm watching all vids and seen J Fab and Smashy live, and understand Start power % and hold time, But WHT about the Low-Meduim-High part of it are you guys keeping it on Low? If you change to high for instance do you lower your Start power percentage?
Do you know if theres plans to be able to use some of these features with the old ghost esc?
The old esc’s are full and no more changes can be made to them.
This is one of the reasons that castle created this new esc. There is more memory in the esc to continue to grow its features.
Is this ESC worth it? I have the XR8 Pro and it's pretty good in my DR10M.
The XR8 pro is no good for drag racing.
The timing in the XR8 only works for some of the Hobby Wing 1/8 sale motor.
So you are running with no timing at all.
The ghost is definitely a huge improvement over the XR8

I've been beating my friends with this setup but it feels like it doesn't smoothly apply power.
Ghost RC has them back up for preorder so I'll have to check it out.

@@manuel39164 it’s just a junk 10.5t motor used for testing. The esc needs a motor connected to work
