I’ll eventually pick one up. Just ordered a Furitek/Hobby Plus Trail Hunter last night. Similar to this new 6x6. Front tilt cab, new chassis, updated shocks, etc. Love your content, you are my go to for new rigs and detailed info.
I have the blue one and love it. I’m hoping to get some videos up of me enjoying this truck, it’s one of the 73 and counting trucks. I picked up since June 15 the date I technically got in the hobby. I have a few shorts up of most of the cars are ready.
After 2 months of trying to get my hands on one of these, I get it (brand new from Heli Direct) today and the remote won't power on. Looks like I'm waiting for more months or at least weeks to get to drive one, gotta love it:(
It’s a nice rig especially at the price point you can’t complain! An if your a new customer 20% that’s an even greater deal! Now the true question is what brushless system and other upgrades could you swap into this thang? Metal axle housing for more LCG..?🤔
Do you know if it’s possible to pair the stock receiver in the Arktos to a Flysky Noble NB4? I switched to a Noble cause of the ease of use and programming and almost all of my trucks are paired to it so I don’t have to carry and worry about a bunch of rtr radios.
Winch and low/high gears?!? I paid almost this much for an atlas fms 6x6 few years back and there’s no oil in the shocks and only low gears. This I want
Just my 2 cents but its pretty similar looks wise to most of the cab-overs in the Middle East/Europe, and I mean the truck wasn’t designed nor built in the us so I wouldn’t expect a Peterbilt🤷♂️. At least it doesn’t have blinkers, in my opinion it’s a step in the right direction for the hobby.
@@bumpinbug6810 in our European cabovers with short cabins (without sleeper in the rear) like this one the front axle is mounted under the rear edge of the cabin, not in the middle like on this one. So this one doesn't have the right proportions in my eyes (for what I am used to as a native European) and therefore does look a little weird for me. In my eyes as a German it looks maybe like a Mack U.S. cabover with a short house or sth. like that. But having the first axle that far in the front is better for offroading - I know. I guess that's part of the success of the Mercedes Benz Unimog - one wheel on each corner of the vehicle. Maybe this one would look cool with an old Kenworth K 100 cab. I guess that would look awesome and the front axle could stay where it is 🤔🙂🚚
Don't get me wrong, I do like this one from the technical aspect, but not completely from the cosmetical one. If I'd get this rc-truck I'd rework that instantly🙂 So maybe take my 2 cents as criticism at a high level.🚚🚛
Nice release! Hobby Plus seems to be growing slow and steady, cool!
The only 6x6 "Crawler" that I actually want! I can carry diecast cars on it!
Awesome 6x6! I gotta have one!! Nice job Hobby Plus.

Looks pretty dope all lit up!
I like dope
Nice design! Attention to quality.
May have to get one.
So cool, they need a 1/10 scale version now for recovering SCX and Redcat scouts.
That's awesome truck. RCDriver thanks for bringing us the cool stuff first.
Lol. Exocaged put his video of this out a few days ago. He even beat the manufacturer official announcement of its release.
Nice. Although Leaf Springs would have given it a nicer touch!
What a cool rig to have. Pretty impressive for the price.
I agree

Where in CT is that spot? Wethersfield here. Great to see how vehicles perform in your own backyard!
State park in New Milford. Small area, but I make the best of it.

Yup, that’s the fun part of the hobby.

DE GAULLE ET FIER DE L'ÊTRE.
They all are if you’re having fun.
So is a Ferrari or multimillion dollar race plane. They for fun. Pay to play. 😂
@MattsOffRoadRecovery they stole your idea.
On all 6 lol...
😆
You don't have one 1/10 that you don't use that you give greetings
Finally a car that lets you turn off those stupid indicators that turn on the moment you touch the wheel
I wish it was licensed,it looks like a cheap plastic tonka truck
Yep - and the wheels make it look even cheaper 😑 I wish they had a different, more truck-like mold - maybe like the wheels on the Atlas 6x6
Would look good with a snow plow 🥸

They copied my custom build, haha! The only 2 differences are the cab and the 2 speed which i have 🤘🏻 ruclips.net/video/1Xd3nBCQYd8/видео.html

it really looks like a kid's toy.
i would never take this shit.

Piece of crap! Way under powered and needs a lot of upgrades to make it capable.
