This is what I wish the Atlas 6x6 was.
That transmitter is nice for an RTR! I love how far the cab tips so you can access all the electronics. What a great RTR hauler!

Youve got a winch in a flat bed, perfect for side hilling, use it to hold it down, not necessarily pull, run it out to the side in front of where youre heading, enough to make it to a safe zone rinse and repeat if necessary
That was sweet cool rig. I would have liked to see the rover in neutral while it was being hoisted up.

Hello Matt back watching Monday, August 19 I did order the yellow one but then I discovered the blue one has the black bed. I contacted Hobby plus and they switched it to the blue one super cool, can’t wait to get it👍👍

All the specs and performance look like to be there, but there's something about the esthetics and scale of the cab that just looks off to me. I looks like a great rig, I'm just hung up on its looks. Great review and running, Matt!

thanks for testing these with other receivers. I like that they are becoming more and more usable across diff tx of the same brand; they just need to sort out the channels.
Seems like all hp rigs have a lot more slop than any others... i remember seeing a comparison between the 2speed portals hp vs 2speed portals of fms and hp visibly had more slop. still sadly that hasn't been address.

how's the power/torque? normally they have been weaker than fms with same to similar paper stats.

I think it should have been labeled an odd size like 1:22 or 1:20 but then it would probably get overlooked or ignored completely because people in the RC community stigmatized non common sizes. Personally I would have labeled it a 1/24
I think if anything I would use this just to haul my rig to the pile and then go from there but also what about a short stiff spring fart as does it have shocks
I wonder if you removed the bed entirely, put some brass wheels and better tires if it would become a wicked crawler?

I got one of these today. One odd thing I am experiencing, when I turn on the transmitter the G.LED light keeps blinking and there is a constant beeping sound. It still binds and works but I cannot get rid of that annoying sound and blinking. I have tried changing batteries, re-binding but this is still happening. Would you be able to tell why this could be happening and how could I fix this? Thanks!

@@TheBigmomkey999 yeah it runs all of the cr18p parts basically. A few upgrades are even starting to trickle in for it.

14:48 i would rather be interested in your build of the mofo wild chassis with the mofo pancake motor. My front links touched motor and motor touched driveshaft with that stupid angle that makes little sense. Had to put a smaller motor in.
@@snörre23 yeah I had a little clearance issue up front. I shimmed my transmission a bit to get it off the driveshaft.

I can't imagine who would want this. Maybe a three year old child that likes "trucks". My interest in crawlers is about capability, and other RC cars maybe if its sth. i find cool in real life. But this ???
@@snörre23 lots of people only want scale looks over performance. I was like you up until probably 4 months ago when I got my first true “scale” truck and since then I really couldn’t care what lines it can do. As long as it looks good and has a lot of scale points. So you gotta look at both sides of the hobby. Some want nothing to do with your performance trucks 🤷🏻♂️ Good thing is… we all have choices!
Guess you have never heard of practicality or utility vehicles before?? It's not meant to be at a car show, it's a friggin work truck 😅
