Note: If you deny all the permissions then you cannot open or edit the files in the folder. U need to uncheck all the deny boxes to be able to read and write the files. So be carefull.

By unix commands you can do that too, and later undo it hahahah. But very useful do!
I remember many years ago of an utility that made your folders invisible. I made a bet with my supervisor that if he was able to find and delete the folder using dos commands i would invite him to lunch. He was never able to find it. The bad thing is that if you forgot the password you got screwed 😂
i know of similar apps that have an email to restore your password with, so as long as you remember your email, you should be good

cacls (your folder or file path) /P everyone:n -----> To lock
cacls (your folder or file path) /P everyone:f -----> To unlock
