I find it useful to change the color of AOEs as well. I found the default colors to be not bright enough and not different enough from potential ground colors to stand out for me. I use a hot pink for bad and a neon green for good. Turning up the brightness on them can really help.
It’s so hard to see some of the AOEs especially when there’s a group of people piled up in a trial. I find myself dodgerolling out of everything-habit from playing a lot of pvp games..but it’s causing me issues in group content. I will try brightening my settings, thanks for the tip!
@@PinkRainProductions also, the color change is really useful! There are too many ground colors with a redish tint (ex Bloodroot Forge, Volenfell, Stone Garden, ect). Once those AOEs start overlapping you cannot tell where the AOE stops and ground begins! Non-natural colors really helps!
Omg the guild chat colors .. did not know.. I'm here strugglin hardcore to read 5 different conversations all in green 🤦♀️ can't wait to get on and change it! Thanks :)
This is a really great video to do. My daughter & I have found settings and told one another about them when we didn’t have certain ones on. Well done 👍🏻.
Many of these settings were turned off by default since the beginning. Started in 2015 and constantly help new players, their UI is ALWAYS different. For PC I created a file of basic add ons for new players. Like a mini map, harvest map, shards, writ crafter etc. Most of these players are still around and have vastly improved. Help new players and maybe one day they will help you :).
The vertical offset is gonna be super helpful, thanks man! I've been trying to figure out the name of that outfit style you're using for hours, even went through some of your old videos to see if it was answered. Edit: Renegade Dragon Priest Costume
I literally did every one of these at around level 20 and it perfected the entire game for me. I was looking for a way to mimic the WoW add-ons that I had back in the day since I am now on Xbox. The developers get major points for allowing us to do this on console.
Tbh Bethesda kinda sucks with joystick responses but I have most definitely played worse lol Fun fact, it’s 2024 and my 30yr old self has finally broke free from Call of Duty.. I feel like I’ve been robbed because so many amazing games that I allowed COD to overshadow 😭
On the topic of settings, why aren't they all account wide. I find it really annoying to have to spend 5 to 10 minutes reconfiguring everything on a new character before I get to play
This right here. So true. My friends and I have been making new characters and there's usually at least one sigh(they forgot waht the settings are). It's annoying cuz even the camera settings are defaulted.
For the guild color if want to the same color have to remember it because isn't account wide or when I first did it, it wasn't account wide. for consoles you can also change controls its helpful so don't loot things when trying to jump and stuff believe there is one that only changes that and in that one makes crouch down on the pad.
Howdy. Did the auto loot and the bar and abilities always on settings. They seem to always go back to default after a short time or when I go to different areas
Leaving any items in a treasure chest will make it so that it will not respawn with new, fresh items, until ALL of its contents have been looted. Don’t be that guy and take everything but an empty soul gem from a chest so that no one else gets a chance to receive proper loot from it.
I don't agree that most of these are "the most important" that you "should" have on. It's fine if it's your personal preference, but things like skill bar always on and name/health bars always showing are completely unnecessary and just add to the visual clutter. And why is auto-loot so important? Very strange video...
Thanks for watching! What setting do you have that you love and would recommend?
Not relevant to your question, but thank you so much for this vid. Saved my life!

@@willdazey7368 I just changed my colors and omg it already has helped so much!!
I have pink for the baddies myself, for mine, and other party members as bright blue

Hi, I'm sure there is none on this planet who explains everything as smoothly as Adam Lutz does. Cheers from Poland

you forgot chat bubble, makes eso looks like some sort of metaverse :D, especially helpful in group conversation.
and also NPC subtittle!

Great tips! I've been playing for several years and didn't know about several of these. Definitely tweaking my setup tonight. Thanks man!!!
Thanks for the tips, especially the quick cast!! I stopped using it because I sucked at it!
Started a few days ago, this helped me a lot
Great video for us color blind folk - been frustrating, looking forward to adjusting my settings!
Great tips 😊👍. Now I just need to find tips about controller settings. Because they kinda suck for ESO atm. I play on pc but with a controller.
Tbh Bethesda kinda sucks with joystick responses but I have most definitely played worse lol

Thanks, this is so helpful. I would love to have a system with graphics so colorful and bright!

Seriously. Why isn't this at least an optional toggle? Set one toon, copy settings to all the rest and then customize to taste.

If you play on PC, there is an addon for that : Joviex's Settings Transfer
@@thierryvanmol9167 Awesome! Thank you. Once again, the modding community comes through where the developers stumble.
@@thierryvanmol9167 hell yeah, thanks man
As always great hints, thank you so much for these videos.
I probably have all the settings done already. But well, let’s watch this in case I missed something.

Everyone in the dungeons jumping at the dead bodies and doors 😂😂
Well done!!! Thanks!
Very informative, thank you!
How do you get your health bar to stack on top of the stam and mag bars? Mine are all side by side and spread out across the bottom of my screen.
Many thanks for the useful tips. What is the motif of your character's armor in the video?
What style is that? Its fire
thanks for quickcast
*what black dye is that? n how do I get it*
You can write mode you use
What add on do you use
I play on both pc and Xbox... it drives me nuts that on xbox I dont have a vertical offset option... we do have horizontal tho.
Who you have a build video for your main?
What is the soft guitar song name in the beginning of video ?
Awesome ❣
Maybe you can help me I can't seem to figure out how to turn off my guild announcer so he talks all the time to the game
Thanks!
What is the name of your home? Does not look like Aldemari Colossal Grotto.
Song name that starts at 0:20 ??
You forgot the settings where you turn on Dark Convergence with Dragonknight. It's the new Meta for people who suck ass in BG but still need points.
I just came back to the game a few weeks ago on a new account and, um, a lot of these are already on by default…
Good tips
Howdy. Did the auto loot and the bar and abilities always on settings. They seem to always go back to default after a short time or when I go to different areas
Mine has been doing this for months and tried a bunch of different things and nothing worked so I just leave them alone at default.
Personally I don't have auto loot is because if I loot a chest, barrel, urn ECT I don't pick up worthless item such as shadowspun items and such....
Leaving any items in a treasure chest will make it so that it will not respawn with new, fresh items, until ALL of its contents have been looted. Don’t be that guy and take everything but an empty soul gem from a chest so that no one else gets a chance to receive proper loot from it.
Most people say don't stand in the stupid...
Addon video next....
vertical offset FTW
If there is not the ... change the color of enemy's attacks to something more recognizable... riot.
id kill for a current video how the esoui and minion work everything is outdated and vague :(
You know the people who play music directly into area chat? That's the reason the game is now sold with voice chat turned off. No joke.
Is the console settings the same, shame you don’t do console vids
The Waffle house has found its new Host.
