I see a lot of lethal half-slappers from the scoring zone in Jason's highlights. Hopefully Sabres teammates have enough sense to set him up for those.

Goal scorers is not what they been lacking over past 13 yrs. 3 rd and fourth line compete has been biggest issue.

I have a question for him: Does he feel any additional pressure to outscore the Avs #2 center Casey Middlestadt this season since Clueless Kevyn is paying him about the same amount ($5 Million for 1 year), that Colorado is paying Middlestadt ($5.5 Million per year for 3 years)?? 😂. Sorry, but seeing all the posts all over social media by Sabres fans saying they still need a TOP Six forward cracks me up after Casey was traded away at the deadline. Jason actually sounds great and I’m looking forward to watching him lead the kids this year! 👍

He’s a mercenary. He could care less about anything but the money. As long as he gets us to the playoffs, I could care less. If not, trade him for a Gatorade and move on. It is what it is.
