We need some of these young forwards to progress for next year. Our D core and Goalies are now really solid.

Absolutely. The problem isn’t our roster. Just a rut some of our players need to work their way through.
There was definitely a decline in the special teams this season. Last season PP goals scored minus PK goals given up : +2. This season : -14. If the Sabres special teams this season were as good as last year, the team would be in the playoffs.

Our fans need to let go of what happened before this current team was formed. Sticking to a young team is what will help us in the long run. A lot to look forward to.

He was an awful captain. Awful. The hallmarks of this team the last two seasons are mental weakness, inability to give a consistent effort, and softness. Those are all a direct reflection of the organization as a whole and the team leadership in particular. Okposo was terrible.

In the press conference after the trade deadline Adams said they need to be better and that he is open to trading prospects for centre help if needed. Sorry Krebs isnt a 3rd line centre or even a 4th line centre. Yes promote a few kids like Kulich this fall but put them on the wing as they will get killed in the face off circle and Buffalo is already BRUTAL on faceoffs. Sign ( ufa) or trade for two veteran centres this summer. The D and goaltending look good but up front there needs to be changes. Say bye bye to Olofsson, Jost, Krebs, Girgenson Jokiharju and Bryson this off season
There's plenty of talent. There just needs to be a new voice behind the bench. I don't dislike Granato, but it's obvious the guys don't quite respond to him well enough or consistently enough.

Big changes needed Kevyn! There are improvements needed. I would move on from Greenway, Girgensons, Jost, Olofsson, Krebs, Power, Skinner, Robinson, Bryson, Jokiharju. Either trade them or cut them, but do not re-sign them. Yes, I said Power too. He doesn't play defense and hasn't hit anyone or cleared the front of the net in the last two years. He is so soft it's unbelievable. The team is the softest and easiest to play against team in the league. Team marshmallow!
I agree with most of your list - Robinson (hits) would be good on 3rd or 4th line. Stuck with Greenway 1 more year / skinner 3 more. Power was known for being non physical - why even get him. This team is just skaters with no hit or grit. There is no one in the system I believe that plays like that. Remember when the sabres were the hardest team in hockey now they are the softest. Bryam hopefully won't get anymore concussions
I realize it's impossible to change all these players, but my point remains that team marshmallow needs to change a lot.@@aaa7189
GM Kevyn Adams was more excited that Kyle Okposo “deserved” to go win himself a Stanley Cup with Sam Reinhardt in Florida then he’s ever been about his own Sabres even making the playoffs. Believe it or not, Kevyn Adams is finishing up his fourth season as Sabres GM, and any Sabres fan that thinks Buffalo is closer to making the playoffs today then before Adams took over are living in fantasy land.
It took Rob Blake 4 yrs and Trades to get LA into the playoffs. Adams has 3 already
For Adams to be so emotional about Okposo .....I just shake my head....Okposo is a teriffic person i'm sure .....but the leader of a losing team ...the culture in the building is soft from ownership down

He was traded because the Sabres didn't want 3 high paid centers. After next season they will have 3 high paid defensemen. Not sure how that is better.
Win the cup? What a clown if he thinks this set up is getting a cup. How about making the playoffs and maybe getting past first round. I don’t see the playoffs under this soft af system. The quit on this team is numbing and Meatball does nothing. I still haven’t got over last years quit and now this year? 3 wins was the biggest achievement this season

@@jeffreytjenks555 he was god awful for the wings game the Canucks game and the oilers game and now by far has the worst 5v5 xgf% on the team. He had a few good games against bad teams but he’s usually the worst player on the ice when the team is struggling

Mitts was entering the prime of his career so it was time to trade him. Buffalo has a deserved reputation of being the NHL's farm team. Next to go will be Joker. You can count on it.
@@thewolfdoctor761 Jokiharju is trash so I’m more than happy to get him off the team. Mittelstadt trade is understandable but they should’ve gotten a more proven player(Girard) or a younger prospect(Ritchie) and a pick. Byram is way too risky to acquire
