2) minimize/stop alcohol for a while: candida feeds on alcohol
3) include pre and probiotics: Apple cider vinegar, raw garlic, raw onion ,lemon
4) sulphur rich vegetables: broccoli cauliflower , cabbage, kale (who live out of country)

Hi doctor, do you think candida can cause severe breathing problems? I'm 29y/o male, was healthy until I caught h pylori and took antibiotics for HP and developed sibo and candida. I never had Shortness of breath till these last couple of months and it feels like air doesn't satisfy my airways at all with each inhalation 24/7. I always ate healthy my whole life but i after i had an accident and broke my leg in highschool i was prescribed opiates and bacame addicted for like 10 yrs along with drinking alcohol heavy every night to mask my depression :/ i been clean now for almost a year from both and now i am allergic to many foods , bad brain fog and fatigue , high candida showed (d arbinotol)40 on my oat test .like i said i always ate clean but can my Candida be caused by my passed addiction? candida is not a bacteria, it is a fungus. JS. Also, you have to be careful about a "cleanse" because fungus and bacteria even each other out, if you don't have enough of one, the other takes over. It can cause more problems.
