- WKRP in Cincinnati premiered on September 18, 1978, on CBS and aired for four seasons, ending on April 21, 1982. The show was about Arthur "Big Guy" Carlson trying to run a failing Cincinnati radio station owned by his "tough as nails" mother. His own incompetence is overshadowed by the strange employees that work at the station. From wild Disc Jockeys: Dr. Johnny Fever and Venus Flytrap to the geeky news director, Les Nessman and obnoxious advertising sales manager, Herb Tarlek. With the help of saner employees like Bailey Quarters; Jennifer Marlowe, and Andy Travis, Carlson tries gimmick after crazy gimmick to bring money into the station and make it a success. But what happened to the cast after the show ended?

"As God is my witness I thought turkeys could fly." One of the best lines in TV history.
I post that clip online every year at Thanksgiving, it's the best!
They can fly, just short distances.
You left out Carol Bruce. She played Mrs. Carlson, the station owner.
Loved this show!! So hilarious. Sad to see some have passed. Thank you!!😊
Some even died!
Thanks 👍
Great show. Underrated in its time. Can still make me laugh when I'm able to find an episode. The Turkey's Away episode alone is an all-time TV classic.
As God as my witness, I thought turkeys flew!
Classic line in a classic episode of a classic tv show
i can still remember the theme tune
Baybeh, if you ever wondered....
Loni Anderson was in the tv show The Mullets as well as the movie # Ninjas: High Noon at Noon At Magic Mountain with Hulk Hogan.Hope that helps some. :)
Tim Reid, not Ron Glass.
Exactly. Ron Glass died.
This was one of my favorite shows. So many funny episodes.
We own all four seasons on DVD and get them out once in a while. Booger!
Did I ever wonder? Wondered whatever became of them?
They’re living on the air in Cincinnati…
Loni Anderson plastic surgery gone wrong😂
This show was one of the driving factors that encouraged me to get on the air in FM radio. The first word I set on the air? BOOGER!!!!!!!!
Never watched it. I do like to see what happened to people after a show's ending.
I loved the show WKRP, of course, with being originally born in Cincinnati, OH and, lived the first 11 yrs of my life in a small town in Hamilton County Ohio, there actually is a WKRP Radio Station and, it was the original radio station for WCPO/ CBS the radio station that coronates with the tv channel 9.
The reason people know you is because it was the funniest show on TV .
I had forgot all about this show. I used to have a crush on Loni Anderson at the time this was on the air.
Do every show!
