I love Canada, I have family in Canada, I have spent some rad times in Vancouver and Toronto where I have some family, but poutine is literally drunk food that someone threw together in their apartment kitchen in the middle of the night that somehow became a national culinary pride lol. It's so confounding but equally hilarious how Canadians are so defensive of this dish like it's anything more than that. If anything, MrT conceived and performed a way more hearty version of it.
As a Canadian its always interesting to see other peoples takes on Poutine. no one ever does it wrong they always make it in a way that is always foreign, but amazing at the same time. I wish I could taste this.... I want it now
Hello from Minnesota, USA. This is the perfect video, in my opinion. A perfect mix of all the good stuff. Love the prep work !! I enjoy your content very much, THANK YOU SIR
The scraper tools he uses on his griddle...I bought those at a restaurant supply store to use on my griddle, way better than any sort of turner or spatula.
I'm a Quebecer that found your channel few weeks ago, I'm very pleased that you introduced poutine to your customers! I'm wondering where did you hear of the poutine? Thanks for your videos!
I love that you offer a variety of cuisines. Are you in charge of what offerings are on the menu? We only have chips, pizza, burgers and sandwiches in my staff canteen - everyday for the past 10 years. 😭
Poutine is great. Comes from Quebec. Gravy is usually a mix of beef and chicken. 60/40 chicken to beef, usually thickened with a roux and cheddar cheese curds. Made it a lot at the diner
Very nice video ☺ I have one criticism: the video is too short. 😉 I could watch you cook for 2 or 3 hours. Maybe I'm already addicted to your videos. Keep it up ☺👍
I love your videos, which reminds me of working as a cook in a dinner when I was in university (favorite job i ever had). As a Canadian, I must ask you not to refer to this as a poutine, though. A real poutine is ONLY cheese curds (no shredded cheese) fries, and gravy (purists will say that the gravy should be a 50/50 mix of beef, and chicken gravy)
Love your videos but i agree with another comment u shouldn't have to unload the trucks. I am a chef in canada and i always wanted to video my work love it. By the way are the chef or sous chef
When you enjoy going to work its not really a job. A job is something you do but dont really wanna do it but you have to because you got bills and they pay good. If you get a job doing what you enjoy and work with people you can tolerate then keep it. Its hard to find
I'm a french canadian from Québec and thats not a poutine at all. french fries, gravy sauce and real cheese curds are what a real poutine is made of. Putting bbq sauce in a poutine is like putting pineapples on a pizza.. love your channel tho 😅
OMG!!! 30:16 This is SO NOT poutine and it's not (only) because mozzarella cheese was used as a substitute. It's because of the fries, gratted cheese, and (this is the big one) it just does not look anything like poutine. Poutine is comfort food that makes you go "aaahhhh" from the first bite to the last. Also....whats with the brown sauce used on it?? I just hope it tastes much better then it looks. Just saying. 🤨

Dude I watch these videos for literal hours. So relaxing
Fries, gravy, cheese, and what looks like meat sauce. Call it anything you want. My answer will be "Yes please!!". Thanks for the video, Chef.

It's wrong in so many ways. Never thought I'd see "poutine" cooked on a flat top.
Grégoire Poutine is the best in Canada
Your videos inspire me to cook, then my omelet burns and my inspiration goes down
Glad I’m not the only one 😅
I believe in you, one day, in a galaxy far far away, you will be able to mak an unburned omelett.
Some people just can't cook. It's OK
his are overcooked so don't feel too bad
Keep practicing, don't give up, practice makes perfect 👌😀👍

We appreciate your dedication and consistency. May God bless you always.
Washing hands like a champ, love that, he really cares about the food and his kitchen, no better cook you can have.
He washed his hands like 4 seconds at a time, that is definitely not proper hand washing.
Keep them coming, Chef T! I look forward to all of your vids.

Sorry 👌😅👍
It's too bad you couldn't get cheese curds for the traditional Canadian Poutine, but your version does look tasty.
Yay, thank you 👌😊👍
Delivery day & Poutine 👌😊👍
Poutine looks like something that will stay with you All Day ? 😂
I’ve tried to be a better cook for my family watching your vids!!! Also they are always entertaining! Looking at the behind the scenes

Hi, thanks I know, it's a bit more complicated, its just easier to do it myself 👌😅👍
Usually drivers will argue that it's doorstep delivery and leave the delivery at the main entrance. This is just in my experience at work
Is the Spaniard the guy with the tattooed sleeves? ☺️

That's like 2 whole potatoes eh? 👌😅👍
Question. Why do u serve breakfast from 7am till 9am
When is he meant to serve it? Is 7-9am not suitable breakfast times? I feel like most people eat their breakfast from between 7-9am tbh..
