@@AlexxxMYLSince2013 I believe it was explained that she was able to calm the Devil Gene for a time, unknown why/how and at that time Kazuya was a normal guy. Then Heihachi attempted to kill him and sparked the rebirth of the Devil Gene. Mishima’s are pretty screwy when it comes to intense emotions. Heihachi being a loving douting father before having to kill his wife was a character development I wasn’t expecting in Tekken 7

That is how a lot of protagonists come back, it's really a misunderstanding, most MC's just assume their oponets just mean die for a bit and like come back later.

They’ve used Japanese VAs before though (Jotaro VS Kenshiro, Dragonzord VS Mechagodzilla).

It was so hard to understand his mumbled engrish, as a German.
I couldn’t understand him half the time. All I managed to make out was “predictable”, “you cannot escape death”, “I am Geese”, and “I will stain my hands with your blood old man”.
It's more of a gag towards how SNK (the developers of Fatal Fury, King of Fighters, Metal Slug etc) has a tendency to have certain American characters to speak broken English from their Japanese voice actors. Though I think the DB staff took it a little too far because this VA sounded nothing like Geese

Fun fact: the lightning that comes off of the strikes of the Mishimas is genetic. Heihachi’s illegitimate son Lars has it, and Kaz and Jin also have it too.
NO, that's part of the mishima style karate, nothing to do with genetics The reason lars can do it is that he recieve some instruction in the style and learn the trick to invoke qi lightning,

I love how they had Geese speak in the most blatantly weeb fashion possible. He sounds like every guy who gets kicked out of a Japanese 101 college class on the first day.
I would like to point out that before Heihachi went into full Bond Villain mode when his wife's devil gene activated (to assassinate him since she was tasked by her family to do that due to them being Justice warriors) Heihachi was actually turning to the side of Good... then he had to murder her, and that hardened his heart again.
So she played herself.

Kazumi's only goal is to kill Heihachi. Which she could have done during sex or while he was sleeping.
Yet she chose to declare her intentions to kill him while he was meditating, presumably all warmed up after training. Too easy, now she died, forever.

He had already staged a hostile takeover of the Mishima Zaibatsu from Jinpachi, who had wanted to end their weapons manufacturing business, was considered a great man who had raised Heihachi AND his wife and treated them well - and Heihachi locked him under Hon-Maru to starve to death. Nah, he was a bastard. His murder of Jinpachi is what prompted Kazumi to finally act, even if she unwittingly helped cement Heihachi as a bastard.

Their only real argument was that him in Shin form "didn't have the hair color" yet another person in the group admitted his hair in other games that are canon to the story were the same in that form.

Not completely sure why, but this is literally my most re-watched DB video, it just feels like this was one of the fights where less was more, it's nowhere near as flashy as their other animations, but actually getting to see the fighters properly duke it martial art style is just fun (plus the voice acting is so on point for this ep, between Geese and his hilariously broken english accent and Heihachi actually speaking japanese, it's great).
They should do more street tier fights

Geese is still one of the most powerful & most ruthless central antagonists in the history of fighting games.
Throwing people off cliffs isn't the only thing that Heihachi is known for. He's also known for being the only member of his infamous family to not possess the power of the Devil Gene. Kazuya, Jin, even Heihachi's wife has special powers of her own plus she's actually BFFs with frickin' Akuma which is insane. Heihachi on the other hand drew the short end of the straw. Although a very powerful & highly formidable Martial Artist in his own right, Heihachi nonetheless pales in comparison to the rest of his family who unlike him all possess supernatural powers.

Actually, I have yet to see a Death Battle of Lupin lll.
