  • Venom: The Last Dance looks like a great film, but unfortunately it could never be the film we wanted it to be.

    Wikipedia:
Venom is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is a sentient alien symbiote with an amorphous, liquid-like form, who survives by bonding with a host, usually human. This dual-life form receives enhanced powers and usually refers to itself as "Venom". The symbiote was originally introduced as a living alien costume in The Amazing Spider-Man #252 (May 1984), with a full first appearance as Venom in The Amazing Spider-Man #300 (May 1988).
The Venom symbiote's first human host was Spider-Man himself, who eventually discovered its true nefarious nature and separated himself from the creature in The Amazing Spider-Man #258 (November 1984)[2]-with a brief rejoining five months later in Web of Spider-Man #1.[3] The symbiote went on to merge with other hosts, beginning with Eddie Brock, its second and best-known host, with whom it first became Venom. Venom has endured as one of Spider-Man's most prominent villains, and was initially regarded as one of his three archenemies, alongside the Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus. Since his debut however, Venom has evolved into an antiheroic figure, slowly distancing himself from his initial goal to ruin Spider-Man's life to try and do good instead, even putting aside his differences with and helping Spider-Man at times. After Brock, numerous other hosts for Venom followed; some of the most notable are the villain Mac Gargan, who was the main incarnation of Venom from 2005 to 2009, and Flash Thompson, who became the superhero Agent Venom from 2011 to 2016, before Venom returned to Brock in 2017. Venom's most recent and current host is Brock's biological son, Dylan. Venom is also depicted as having spawned several children-Scream, Lasher, Phage, Agony, Riot, Mania, Sleeper, and most notably, Carnage, who becomes Venom's archenemy after being bound to serial killer Cletus Kasady.
A fan-favorite character and well-known figure in popular culture, Venom (primarily the Eddie Brock incarnation) is the most recognizable Spider-Man antagonist not first introduced during the original Lee/Ditko run. He has been featured in various media adaptations of Spider-Man over the years, including feature films, television series and video games. The character was portrayed by Tobey Maguire and Topher Grace in Spider-Man 3 (2007), with Tom Hardy primarily portraying the character in the Sony's Spider-Man Universe films Venom (2018) and Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021), as well as an uncredited post-credit scene appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).
The Eddie Brock incarnation of Venom is among Spider-Man's most famous rogues, and is regarded by many as a dark reflection of the hero. Comics journalist and historian Mike Conroy writes of the character: "What started out as a replacement costume for Spider-Man turned into one of the Marvel web-slinger's greatest nightmares".[4] Venom was rated 33rd on Empire's 50 Greatest Comic Book Characters,[5] and ranked 22nd on IGN's 100 Greatest Comic Villains of All Time.[6]

Loooot of people outing themselves as having made their mind up as to what I mean in the title without actually watching the video...

  • @KaleBennett

    @RJH755  +105

It has Mrs Chen dancing in a fancy red dress, that automatically makes it a good movie

  • @dolier2802

Film will be peak like Venom 2

  • @brodiemarschall5148

Man, if the movie and Kraven flop , then Sony will have to sell Spider-Man completely back to Marvel, so that the Marvel universe can be whole again.

  • @hectorguy5687

Nah, ima go watch Venom 3 and have fun. Like really, who really goes to watch a Venom movie and take it seriously? This trilogy is one big 90s cheese fest, and I’m all for it.

  • @keithgalesmusic

the trailers "we are venom" joke doesn't land also because they synched perfectly with each other at the end of the first film when they we're about to bite that muggar's head off at MS. Chang's shop.

I immediately saw it as Venom just leaving behind 2 different pieces of himself in variants of that bar. Dude in the MCU is the bartender while in the Sony universe, he's just another patron (which explains his more downtrodden look while also being on the patron side of the bar having a drink), not to mention the background of the bar (and motel) looks more downtrodden while the MCU version looked more elegant and clean . In this variation, Army dude captures the symbiote, while in the MCU, since Venom isn't around and therefore nobody is suspicious, that piece of the symbiote will go on to do its own thing in the MCU

  • @mamodokod4613

Are you serious? This movie looks leagues better than the last one. Thank god its NOT the rumored "venom protect baby peter Parker".

  • @supersaiyanfox9190

I’m so glad these stupid Venom movies will be ending, with MCU Spider-Man not being associated with him (Spider-Man vs. Venom should be built up with a Peter vs. Eddie dynamic and the Symbiote Spider-Man storyline; don’t make Eddie and Venom just another villain of the week for Spider-Man, especially with this version of the character, who isn’t even a villain). I was perfectly fine with the No Way Home post-credit scene (Pup, you’re not getting what Marvel was intending; Marvel is not at fault here but Sony is with what they did to this post-credit scene), because they wanted to build up Spider-Man vs. Venom with a Symbiote Spider-Man storyline, and they wanted Venom to actually be a villain that would torment Spider-Man. It boggles my mind that the Spider-Man fandom shits on MCU Spider-Man for things such as the goofy humor that’s like a sitcom, but they love these stupid Venom movies that are just cringe. With the Home trilogy, there was a purpose to the goofy, lighthearted tone in them, especially the serious moments occasionally shown in the first two films that made the third movie’s transition to an emotional wreck by the third act well earned. Someone like Implicitly Pretentious, who has actually read the Stan Lee comics, gets it. But for the Venom movies, it always felt like there was no purpose to the silly tone but just to make these movies goofy for the sake of being goofy.

I actually really liked Carlton Drake as a bad guy...RIOT was the dissapointing let down, RIOT looked too similar to venom and was pretty dull and simple minded

  • @omoefeasiemo3601

It's like jingling keys in your face

  • @creepycarlos5634

Military is gonna create “agent venom”

  • @SpiderGoblin2012

I have a feeling that Sony was banking on backing out of their MCU deal after FFH. I mean, just the way they were talking, that was their plan. Take Spidey out of the MCU and slap him into the Venomverse. Then they realized that that was a terrible plan, and so they made NWH and Ctrl-Alt-Deleted Venom out of the MCU, but left the symbiote there as a tease.

  • @bubbakins18

somebody put "i can't fap to this it dosen't have spider-man in it!" on a shirt NOW!

  • @Zombiesnyder13

AVI ARAD has ruined so far...

  • @TheGamerninja15

If the Symbiote Spidey set up from No way home was bullshit, then lets just hope it's introduction to the MCU is similar to that of how it was ORIGINALLY introduced. A man-made creation that mutates into the bulky alien we all know and love. And hey, since Sam Rami took inspiration from the 90's show and Ultimate comics with green goblin being the main antagonist after Peter becomes spiderman, And TASM took inspiration from, the Death of Teen Stacy, MCU would take some inspiration from the Secret Wars comics, but for Venom's origin in the MCU universe could be a combination of his origin from Secret Wars and the Ultimate comics, but that just my opinion and theory.

  • @MightyCrane18

If Topher Grace Venom is in this movie I’d be so happy

  • @romeoj.7481

Sony's main tactic to get the audience to show up is to tease Spider-man and then possibly change their mind later. They are probably gonna give a dumb explanation for that bar scene or remove it when they realize it doesn't make sense.

  • @featherguardian6023

Hoping this is the Final Sony Spider Spinoff and this got my Attention as it’s doing so many Creative Things with the Symbiotes, although I’m not gonna lie I’m worried about this Movie.
