Handel's wonderful D major violin sonata dates from around 1750, only nine years before his death; the work was not published during his lifetime. It is now considered one of his very finest chamber music works. Some of the music from this Sonata is used in his oratorios Solomon and Jephtha.
Beethoven’s Opus 30 sonata in G expresses the tranquility of the summers in the woods near Vienna where he lived while composing this completely delightful work.
As an encore, turning to the 19th century, Ms. Lee has chosen to conclude our concert with a personal favorite: a gem from the legendary violinist Fritz Kreisler: The Midnight Bells Waltz.

What a treat! When I first saw the RUclips thumbnail, I though to myself, "ugh, another couple of amateurs making a home video". Boy, was I wrong. Then I saw the beautiful Steinway played even more beautifully by Ms. Weinstein, the two condenser microphones placed perfectly over the piano, and the robbie-the-robot sized pair of speakers, and I knew I was in for a treat. Add a little digital reverb, and the performance and recording rivaled anything you could reasonably expect to hear. Kudos to all.
