one of my favorite pieces in general, but this recording is outstanding! violinist and accompanist compliment each other perfectly. need me an accompanist like that lol!
*Heart explodes from the beautifulness of the musician's playing and the appreciation of the composer.* I am truly moved right now. P.s: The sheet music for this movement is intense.
Wow. Excellent violinist AND accompanist! They pair each other very well, and feel the music. They reverberate from each other's anticipation and it's just so thrilling to watch. One of my favourite violin pieces. Bravo. I'd love to see Saint-Saëns' "Introduction et Rondo Capriccioso" done by these two!
Pianist Mer Rui: A native of Shanghai, Dr. Mei Rui began her piano studies at the age of three, and gave her debut solo recital at the age of 10 in front of an audience that included the President of Austria and other international dignitaries at the Hofburg Imperial Palace in Vienna in 1993. She has been invited to perform at the Ravinia Festival, Perlman Festival, Yellowbarn Festival, Taos, Music Academy of the West, Norfolk, and Van Cliburn Piano Institute, and has collaborated with some of the most eminent musicians in the world, including Paul Katz, Itzhak Perlman, Roger Tapping, and Peter Frankl. . . . Just wow
Yes, WHO IS SHE!!!!??? (In many occasions I think she is the better one of the two. His performance wouldn't have worked without her, she follows and supports like glued to his interpretation as well as contributes and lifts abundantly!).
bro just be grateful for the fact that classical pieces can be heard by a lot of ppl from this era, like bruh some ppl know the song bc they had to learn it for a violin lesson, some people know it from their relatives, and some people know it from that anime shigatsu wa kimi no uso and from any other, and why y'all gotta be mad just bc ur lie in april is popular and ppl started to listen to the pieces. including this.
This is a sonata written for two instruments, piano and violin. I think no matter how famous, wonderful or successful the violinist is, it is still quite rude to ignore the pianist. Please at least write the name just beside the violinist's.
Most of people came here just because of Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, how sad, people should listen more to classical music. But at least the anime brought you here so you can enjoy these musics
I am grateful for Your lie in April because this anime made me start to listen to classical music :) and i am not here just because of the anime, i am here because i love this piece :)

(Some history here) all Korean and Japanese are descendants of Chinese as their forefathers had escaped to Korea and Japan from China during the Qing Dynasty. This group of people were asked to find the "eternal life portion" (which of course, doesn't exist) for the emperor. If they couldn't find it, they will be killed back in China. So they stayed in that region, which is Korea and Japan, and started their life... YAY HAPPY ENDING
Jenna Chu yeah, it's quite hard for the performers to play the instrument AND flip the pages at the same time, though for the ones in orchestra it's a different story as they share a stand for two persons
@@id_raka I think muscle memory plays an important part for this one thanks to all those practice sessions the violinist had. It means their fingers should've been well-trained even when they only briefly look at the sheet.

Rockstar110Percent I'm a music student in piano performance at university and literally we have this class called accompaniment and one of the things we legit learn is how to turn a page. As a page turner you have to attend your pianist's practices at least 3 weeks in advance to their performance. It can be incredibly stressful because if you fuck up, you can fuck up an entire 20-30 minute piece in seconds.
Even though Kreutzer is a Violin Sonata, but man.... the piano composition is so wow....
+sy20vip "Sonata for Pianoforte and Violin" according to Beethoven
Carlos Rodriguez
So it's not an only violin sonata, then...
the original title is actually "Sonata for Pianoforte Accompanied by a Violin Obligato"
'Cause beethoven is the composer😄
I think it was for both. Sonata for Piano and Violin
