I actually just ordered mine last week looking forward to getting it I couldn't decide between that one or the stinger both looks like really awesome knives hope I made the right decision
Thanks for the video for the insights and real use review! I've got to say I have enjoyed your channel for months now, I'm grateful. Thanks for the link too. I went to that site earlier today because I keep checking for Nomad EDC since I saw David C Anderson showing it and it's always " Currently Unavailable". What made me want it is to try WTG, my friend, Hunter Cutchin designed the Ares. They made it happen! It's a large knife that I have covered already, but I'm into pocket fixed blade EDC so this model caught on with me. I LOVE N690 since I tried Bark River The Forrester. I like how one can choke up to the heel of the edge and no BS forward finger choil. I liked that there was no sharpening notch in case that's a stress riser. I'm not sure I like a knife to be all belly, but I can work with that here. I think it's a knife that's different from most of all I have. It's checking a lot of boxes. I ordered off your link and I'm glad I can stop looking and waiting for a chance at this one. I have a custom coming next Spring in N690 and I think I will carry this with LionSteel T6 in K490. ( I have a JRE Industries sheath model U for that and the U fits Spartan Blades Harsey Difensa too. You showed how the sheath works and had a lot of positive comments throughout the review. I hope it fits my mitts. Thanks once more! You helped me with one of my knife dreams!
This one is great in person! It's new & different. The edge is high polish and the spine is crisp sharp. Took three-days once it could ship after Chinese New Years. I really like it and connect with the design elements.
Oh man that thing is screaming at me to buy it right now. But we're running up on Christmas so I gotta hold back because I have a gift list to tackle. Hopefully these will still be in stock somewhere after the Christmas season is gone and my wallet has regained some more breathing room lol Thanks for the video!
Nice knife but not for me. I like fixies with wooden handles and leather sheaths that are smaller in size like the Petit Oiseau (Fiddleback Forge), Frontier Valley/Frontier First (LT Wright) or the Lil Necker II (Bark River). I would love to see some of your favourite mini-EDC knives with a leather sheath and wooden handles. Cheers from the Gold Coast, AUS
Ion the blade profile shape, it starts to feel like a Mini Marble's Woodcraft. Then you realize it's completely shaped like a re furbish tip of a broken off trailing point. The blade has movement just sitting still.
I want to give a gift to my brother. The main job for a knife is to cut cardboard. Of the sharpening tools, I plan to buy him a triangle (spyderco) and ceramic moussat. Please tell me which folding or fixed knife to buy? @Stassa23 Knife Therapy
Glad you reviewed this one. DCA called this his favorite fixed blade of 2022 but for obvious reasons I was skeptical about that LoL
I have one of these and I can't help but to love it even though it's not the best slicer.
I love the design I hope they do another run so I can get one.

How did your order go? Did you make the best decision between the two?

Great looking knife! Nice size!

Thanks for the video!
He just came in second place on that mew show also. Seems Luke a cool dude
Good info.
Nice knife. If I hadn't just updated my Esee 3 and 4's (got one each in 1095 and stainless) it would be a contender for a next purchase.

That's one hell of a knife.

Beautiful!
It looks weird but I like it
Looks goofy
This is a great looking knife. However I wish they would have used 14c28n blade steel.
Why?
@@bigbill74scots because it takes a really good edge it's easier to sharpen and its tough steel
