same! kaleidoscope and pink pony club were my first chappell songs and i instantly fell in love. i had no idea she was blowing up since i'm not on tiktok or anything but it didn't surprise me haha
you guys should do an episode where we submit our favorite album covers and you review them. that would be fun i think
So excited for you Elliot. I found out I have adhd at 24 and getting my meds was literally life changing. After that I was able to go from retail to becoming a graphic designer/ actually use my degree.
are you both inside my brain? this was so validating for me as a junior designer recently diagnosed with adhd trying to get my shit together. the adhd, the design process, all of it.

Grateful for Kel for reassuring me that drawings do not have to be perfect when brain storming an idea, because last semester my graphic design professor kinda told me to find a new area of study besides graphic design because of my drawing skills.
thats such bs i’m sorry they said that to you! i got told something similar when i was in freshmen year of college a prof told me i’ll never be a designer without a steadier hand (which is silly, they were just supposed to be rough sketches of a bigger project but at the time it really upset me). i’m a full time graphic designer now and realize he was being a douche. as long as you can work with what works for you, you’ll do great !

Kel’s sticky note project management sounds exactly like Trello to me, only physical, Trello is so nice because you physically move each card to different columns representing where you’re at in the project and it’s SO NICE

I’ve really been debating if I have ADHD as well cause it’s been so hard for me to complete projects to escape my non design job… but the doctors just think I’m depressed 🙃 I gotta have something nore

Legit so surprised Elliot got diagnosed so quickly! I'm trying to get in with a new psych here in Australia and have at least 6 months before I can get an appointment (rip me)
some people hit those open appt slots so quick, it’s like a fast pass 😭 it took me 3 months to get mine in the US and i thought i was fast lmao
