The Kristen ITC. it has some sort of cartoonish, rugrat vibe to it, which makes it different from your usual designs. I also really liked the 'graphic design is very important' because it's like you're arguing with yourself when in reality, because you said you feel indifferent towards it, you're really arguing with no one. and the background color is cool too. cool blue. blue cool
not graphic design related but i would love to see a house tour! your furniture looks really funky and colorful which kinda reflects your style in graphic design

dude okay i am so glad i found this channel, I'm currently in school for graphic design and while some of my classes and profs are really fun and make me want to push myself, some of it is slowly killing me on the inside. Man like,,, idk how to describe it but sometimes I'm like "fuck WHY AM I DOING THIS I WANNA DIE THIS IS KILLING ANY LEVEL OF CREATIVITY IVE EVER HAD AHHHHH" but this vid made me go "oh yea no i still like this stuff nvm" which is not something I've been feeling lately. Anyways, this made me finish an assignment and also do some stuff for myself. ty v much you have earned a new subscriber

typical designers humor are actually really boring imo. they always complain about clients and people that don't know design. it gets boring after a while and ngl they do sound condescending. so we do need someone like you. thank you for being what you are
I feel that there's a slight shift in the online graphic deisgn space in terms of putting yourself and health first. Seeing people pause 365's or even just deciding not to force yourself to create like you've done with this video! I think it's a very healthy shift and one I'm personally very happy to see :)) Super lovely video!! I feel like we all like to reminisce about the work we've created and just bathe in the sense of pride. Keep it up elliot :)
Yes absolutely!! It’s so easy to push yourself when you get momentum but the burn out at the end lasts for wayyyy too long… glad people are taking it easy and trying to enjoy the process as is!

Oh my gosh! This is the first of your work/videos I've ever seen, I clicked on it because as a creative with ADHD I know the feeling of "Please let me talk about the stuff I make I just wanna deep dive" all too well and I was curious and WOW I'm so glad I clicked, the layout of the video is a perfect mix of comedy and diving into your process. The whole "being a good designer doesn't mean being good at every aspect of design" thing is SO true, and as someone in college right now studying creative stuff and trying to figure out what to do with my life, it really hit hard for me. I love the way that your posters intertwine comedy with creativity, it's always so neat! Also side note it's so much fun to play around with blending modes and experiment with photoshop, and the gradient orb tutorial feels like a new door's been opened in a way, haha. I'm so glad I came across your page!!

It's my first time watching a content of yours and i really really reeally feel more relieved from the pressure i've been putting on me these times. I'm in a creative block and i can't relate to it with almost no one since my friends don't enjoy or like graphic design. You made me reflect about some stuff, nice video and art work!

as a student for graphic design its SO relieving to find people that just wanna create fun stuff lol NO professor i DONT wanna just use black and white and boring fonts
I love this video and I totally understand not pushing yourself. I got burnout and dealt with health issues from pushing myself to hard and feeling bad for taking a break sooo I love to see people not push themselves! I HAVE to know what fonts the last two posters were. The “HOT TAKE” on and the “Niche” font. Stunning!!
rest is very important!! fonts are Meno Banner Extra Condensed and honestly not 100% sure on the other one but I think it's Big Caslon but stretched :)

I love this video, this was in my recommended, love the casual style of the video. Think you should give a try on doing some podcast stuff, like inviting a designer guest, start small eventually inviting bigger names and just casually talking about stuff.

if you do my gradient orb tutorial you'll get a similar effect! then just delete the circle mask and warp it a bit more and you'll get something that looks like it!
