Speaking at an energy conference in Austin, Texas, Musk did not provide details on what higher-volume production means for the Semi, the Wall Street Journal reported. However, Musk previously said the Tesla Semi would reach an annual production of 50,000 units starting in 2024. Speaking on the Q3 2022 earnings call in October 2022, the billionaire said it would take about a year to ramp up Semi production. About a year from October 2022 would indicate late 2023-early 2024 as the start of the production ramp. "So, we're tentatively aiming for 50,000 units in 2024 for Tesla Semi in North America. And obviously, we'll expand beyond North America," Musk said.

"prototypes are easy, production is hard"
When you plan to build 50,000 tractors a year, the prototype is not the problem, “the machine to make the machine” is now the problem.
No doubt your truck might not need all the ammenities, however trucks operate in all conditions.
FYI;
Telsa semi has been delayed in part by the lack of battery supply. [1]
Once again, super well done you guys. “Bring innovation and manucaturing back to North America"
Cheers

Tesla doesn't expect to start higher-volume production of the Semi Class 8 electric semi-truck before late 2024, CEO Elon Musk said yesterday citing battery supply constraints.
THIS IS FANTASTIC,PROUD OF YOU,HOPE YOU MAKE A FORTUNE
So proud of what yall have built!!!! Way to go!!!
I shared ur video. Good luck. 7 years I was talking to my wife about cars. I watch way to many car videos. We started investing into a 401 k stuff. I asked her to invest into Tesla . But she never listen. You guys seem to be way ahead of the curve!! Mk
I have followed you guys since the early days and so impressed what you guys have done and the enthusiasm you guys have. Canada need more people like you guys and not the people running this down the shit hole.
Keep up the great work :)
I love how you build your trucks. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
SO PROUD OF CANADIAN INGENUITY, WISHING YOU ALL THE SUCCESS AND PROSPERITY.
been following for years cheers boys on all the hardwork
It is amazing to me that you didn't intimidated by all those huge companies failing at this and had faith you knew a better way. Kudos to you
Just signed up to invest. I wholeheartedly believe in you guys and what your doing at Edison Motors. Simple yet economical and effective Trucking is something that can't be overlooked. Carry on drivers. Can't wait to see what your future holds.

Freaking love the passion in your eye :) Keep it up boys!
You guys nailed it man! Love to see People actually build something usefull man!
Happy to hear you're doing well
Absolutely love everything about this ! Just discovered you guys ! Amazing job, well done 👌👌👌
Absolutely love the passion guys!! A big middle finger to that portable appliance company 💪
You're definitely not stealing from them. Just making a far far more effective, efficient solution for trucking.
I so wish I had some money to invest in this. I don’t but I wish you guys the very best and hope to see every video you post in the future.
I feel like you guys are striking a blow for common sense as you do this. Keep up the good work boys!!
Major props to where you've guys gotten. Remember, prototypes are easy, production is hard.
Not a truck driver, just an electronics nerd. You guys are killing it! Very cool, and as they stay in star trek, live long and prosper!
Would love to see you make a side loader garbage truck.
Oh hell yeah brother, that b double/tag/stag setup looks killer, keep up the great work guys and gals 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
It's wonderful what you're doing with electric trucks. Fancy rarely works out in the woods or in the field. I know you're only focused on producing a big rig at the moment, but I'm hoping my next pickup will be an Edison.
to quote Mike Rowe: brown before green! love it
Love you brother! You are doing amazing things! Greetings from Serbia :)
Love your common sense approach, fire, and drive to get things done. And you are getting it done, oh boy you are! Keep up the good fight guys.
Been following you since Carl. Great to see your success.
I love what you are doing and what you've accomplished so far! Have you put any thought in to designing your cabin to be more aerodynamic? It seems like just a few changes to the shape of the cabin could greatly reduce drag, and improve drive efficiency and range. It doesn't have to be a perfectly tuned aerospace design but just some smoother curves and streamlining would go a long way to prove efficiency.
They have thought about it. They don't need it. They intend to build vocational trucks, where the series-hybrid makes sense. So the answer to your suggestion is in this short: ruclips.net/user/shorts3TlYH7ezrGA?si=HTa3aCqau-ThvrqY
