I can tell, even before watching more than 1 minute... You're aiming for a logging truck, not a general purpose long hauler. So cabin luxury isn't a priority. That's a clever strategy, a pragmatic approach that takes advantage of what we've got right now.
Eventually they will get into long haulers, and I hope it's something a bit more luxurious than this haha, but this is a great REAL work truck. The fact that it took people so long to realize that electric motors make more sense than a transmission is crazy.

I cannot stand how EV companies and vehicle companies in general are selling heavily over-engineered vehicles that can't be worked on or serviced. Using common, tested and improved upon parts over decades, for most stuff is perfect for getting useful tools like your semi off the ground and fast to adopt for clients that can benefit from these - ALL THE BEST!! Right there with you with the rants, started going off with: Including simpler more reliable approaches - don't want to or can't fit a bunch of screws around a housing - sure, makes it easier to maintain, by making it slide into a wedge or slits and fasten with one or two screws instead of making everything hook into place with the same amount of weak plastic hooks that brake and are a hassle/strain on parts to remove. Your panel of electronics was also refreshing - sometimes have to take the hole machine apart to maintain a simple inexpensive part..
Though I can also understand not wanting to be dependent on someone else's solution for something you depend on (especially if it's simple enough) and possibly getting tied into a price or licenses - shouldn't be that fragile to such a change. In software it's best to do the simple and mission critical stuff yourself - keep it simple - not forgetting the "soft" in software.

I so wish I had some money to invest in this. I don’t but I wish you guys the very best and hope to see every video you post in the future.
I love what you are doing and what you've accomplished so far! Have you put any thought in to designing your cabin to be more aerodynamic? It seems like just a few changes to the shape of the cabin could greatly reduce drag, and improve drive efficiency and range. It doesn't have to be a perfectly tuned aerospace design but just some smoother curves and streamlining would go a long way to prove efficiency.
They have thought about it. They don't need it. They intend to build vocational trucks, where the series-hybrid makes sense. So the answer to your suggestion is in this short: ruclips.net/user/shorts3TlYH7ezrGA?si=HTa3aCqau-ThvrqY
It is amazing to me that you didn't intimidated by all those huge companies failing at this and had faith you knew a better way. Kudos to you
I'm homeless living in pueblo Colorado and I drive a 2001 ford explorer XLS. I wish I could do a resto mod but I'm poor and probably won't be able to in any time lol. But love your truck and watching your journey with topsy and carl
I’m so happy that you 2 are supporting, right to repair. I’m sure you’ll be successful
