    The apartment is ok and the view is good. Super dense development. It's interesting to take a walk.

    This is a great find. I like the light/white cabinets and countertops. The walls look clean and floor is nice and shiny. I guess the bed could be a bit smaller as it took most part of the bedroom. Honestly, the equivalent of 645 square feet is plenty big for one person, much more than most people in Manhattan have, and the apartment in this condition and style would cost you at least $5500/month. And you have a nice view too. Hope you will get the parking situation taking care of soon.😊

      Yeah it’s big enough especially now that I’ve gotten rid of a lot of stuff. I’m happy with it especially at $200 a month lol !!

    Luoyang is an ancient city located slightly north of China. The air environment, urban construction level, price consumption level, and humanistic and social environment are quite different from those in southern China. Compared with Foshan, where you came from before, it is a relatively poor area. Why did you choose to come here? I think there are fewer foreigners there. I believe you may regret your choice. However, I certainly hope that you can overcome your discomfort and settle down.

      @viewpointabroad  Месяц назад +2

      So far I like it. I don’t need to be around foreigners and to be honest I prefer to be away from foreigners.

    It's always troublesome to move, but you got a nice apartment. The parking space is unfortunate though, I guess you can contact your landlord, since she owns the house, she must can put in an application for renting one in the community or something, if she doesn't already own one.

    I'm sorry to hear some folks wouldn't rent to you because you're American. They may dislike the American government but they should not direct their anger toward an innocent individual, especially someone who's lived in China for so long.

    Imagine if a US landlord said "No Asians !". His ass would be in court immediately ! Even Trump and his Dad got convicted for refusing to rent to blacks, back in the 1970's !
