how would you rate Brave Bird from Absol - Mewtwo right now?
you mean, tsareena - mewtwo, i rate it talonflame :)
Honestly absol, you can still do good but it takes a lot of effort to do so.
He does a lot of damage but if you don't kill your opponent, you probably death, I rate It like a Leafon
I will give it a solid cramorant
I give it a gengar out of mewtwo
The problem with Brave Bird and, in general all the moves that brings you closer to the enemy, is the amount of stuns that the game has currently. You dive to the enemy and get stuned for like 5 seconds. They need to buff full heal or nerf the amount of stuns imo :'(
Instant click stuns too, like if something stuns.. make it have a cast time or some way to avoid it...
Buffing Full Heal is not the solution to the amount of stuns this game has.
Yeah full heal needs a buff
the og Pokémon (Talonflame, Charizard, Pikachu...) really need a buff to be good again
They keep trying to make talon good and its not working
Some of them (venusaur, alolan ninetales, cramorant, slowbro) are still good tho
I'm still hoping for Earthquake and dig fixes for Garchomp, sadness.

Easy to learn and hard to master. This move is what I actually wished to be good and it is. Not as good as Fly but still good. The CDR buff and the damage increase really helped this move become good. Maybe I would love to try this build when I have the chance.
BB talon IMO the best ambusher with huge burst damage (still losing against leafeon with unite tho) and can kinda oneshot MMY if they don't have recover or pocket blissey ready.
Though I got average of 10+ kills per game it's not always win because mostly I'm down too after diving into battle. Definitely not the best speedster but I'm having so much fun oneshotting people here and there with BB.

Brave bird/aerial ace combo in my opinion is actually really good. My prefered build is Attack weight, aeos cookie and muscle band. Youre attack damage and sustainability are climaxed As long as you nail the the resets properly you can pretty much 1v1 any pokemon. Thank you for noticing ChrisHeros. There's so much more positive things I can say about it but that's the jist

Random but quick question for literally anyone. I'm in 1400+ masters and I'm healing 60-75k, but I've seen other people get 90k+ with eldegoss before. Am I just not utilizing him the right way? Or is it a lack of team fights in my games that tend to keep me from reaching that extent? I want to be the best support I can be, but I'm not sure if there's any solo queue tips for support to reach 90k healing on average.
Nahh bro you are too good if you are constantly healing 60-70k. the 90-100k heal games are rarity for elde. And the reason is as you stated lack of team fights and also lack of tanky mons, I mean you can't have that much healing without a defender or mons like tyrann Or scizor on your team. That too if you pocket those players and they are actually decent players. I would recommend if u learn atleast a tank too as soloq will put you in position where others select only attackers or speedsters and apparently a healer like elde might not be of help that time. Also it will be better if you find a duo or trio partners that's the best way to utilize those mons as solo Q is really rough for supporters as it's filled with idiots.
Lastly, if you really want to reach those high nos. (tho it won't be every game) pocket your tanky carries if you have one in team(like m2x, lapras, chomp, scizor, venu, tyran, other all-rounders or defenders too) or the best player on your team. That's why find a decent player to que with which you can trust and support every game even if others on your squads are bad you will yield good results.
If ur game doesn't have much teamfights or u die while the fight it happens as a support u should mainly be supporting the carry and be there for almost all the teamfights or else what's the advantage of having a healer? Hope this helps
@@lloydter this is on an average of my last 10 games with Elde. Before masters I was averaging 35-40 k.
@@lloydter Oh and i also do play defenders. But I'm comfortable with my stat averages on choices like Lapras, slow, Blas, Trev, and Crustle. I can't utilize Umbreon very well unless I focus on healing and trapping. Attackers, I am terrible. But most people choose those roles solo so I've always just chosen around people. My most played is definitely Blastoise though
A lack of team fights will definitely be part of it. And 60-75k is perfectly fine. I usually get 90k ish but to be honest that’s cause I play elde way too aggressive lol. I harass attackers and take damage which is fine cause I know I can heal it off as long as I’m not too reckless. And all that self healing builds up overtime. I think it depends on whether you use cotton guard or spore. I use spore personally, and the strategy I like to use is casting it on myself, then moving closer to allies safely using spore and healing both them and myself with a big burst of healing. Doing that method makes you a sort of safe zone for your team since you will have a big burst of cc and healing, so others might move towards you too, letting you get a lot of healing overall from healing multiple people at once plus all the self healing you’ll do with the more aggressive build. Using cotton guard you’re probably actually gonna do less healing though realistically you’ll be just as useful. Since cotton guard doesn’t have cc it doesn’t really want to move toward the front or risk taking damage, so you’re best off staying in the middle of your team to shield all of them and throw puffs onto whatever teammate needs it most. Since you usually won’t be doing self healing as that build your healing numbers might be lower, but that isn’t necessarily an indicator of how well you do. It could also be your items. Because I use spore/puff, I run rapid fire scarf/sp atk specs/wise glasses. Pollen puff healing scales great off special attack, so full stacks it heals a TON. That also helps my healing numbers. Eldegoss also stacks very well, it can take farm pretty quick and heal itself on the way out. I run x speed to help with escape, also pairs very well with cotton spore. And then RFS just cause elde auto attacks are stupid good. But there are plenty of other options! If you use guard/puff instead rescue hood is probably better than wise because it will help your shields (since I use spore I use wise to boost the damage on it instead). Muscle band is also incredible to make your auto attacks even better, as is buddy barrier for team fights or exp share for laning, and none of those will boost your healing number but again that isn’t a bad thing necessarily. Numbers are just that, and shielding your teammate in a big fight or helping them level faster is often more valuable than getting an extra 10k healing. So in short don’t worry about the numbers too much, you’re probably helping your team more than enough just by playing elde, but trying something new with builds or playstyle could help you get 90-100k if you want to

Both are fantastic. If you haven’t did so already, you could take them both into practice mode or play offline to see which of those two mons you want more.
Blaziken, Mimikyu and Meowscarada are also being added to unite if they interest you.
Clefable or eldigos are my 2 top supports. Umbreon/lapras are also fun defenders

Buffing ideas for talon flame brave bird set
1. Brave bird : increased damage
2. Brave bird : cooldown reduced by 1 sec
3. Brave bird + : damage reduction 15% per enemy hit now stacks up to 5 times ( capped at 75%)
4. Aerial ace : increased healing
5. Aerial ace : cooldown reduced by 1 sec
Brave Bird only needs a faster animation (also for those scenarios when you need to escape the fight)
Honestly, Brave Bird should reset if you flat out KO someone with it.
