How did people forget that Trev was good? I know we're out of the OP wood hammer meta and a bunch of new insane defenders are out, but I feel like I see a Trevenant every few games and they always do well
I think the main problem is the amount of ranged attackers right now. Ninetales is amazing, Glaceon and Espeon are still pretty decent, Mewtwo Y is the most broken mon, Inteleon has range and crits, Chandelure is still decent as well. Trevenant just has a hard time trying to catch all these ranged mons, specially if they have a good front row, like Lapras, Umbreon and even Goodra. As soon as more brawling mons become more viable, Trevenant will have its time in the spotlight again. Of course, that isn't to say there aren't brawlers who are viable right now, of course there is, like Zacian, Watershifu and Mewtwo X, but there's very few of them, to the point using Trevenant becomes harder than using other defenders like Slowbro, Lapras, Umbreon.
yeeeees! I've been getting so tilted at this game recently so I decided to just chill out and purely play my fave mon - phantump/trevenant! been having lots of fun with pain split/wood hammer and you can even bully mewtwos with him
Trevanent is my most favourite pokemon, I just play it and do better damage than attackers and all rounders in every match (I am at master 1600) Its just so OP that it can do 1v2 soooo easily even 1v3 and 1v4 if played correctly, when I am frustated by loosing I use trevanent and have avg 120k+ damage taken and 70+ damage every time i use it!!!😈
@yalegreninja I disagree. I think snorlax only is outclassed by the other defenders, but I still would say that his heavy slam yawn/block support build works well. He has some sustain with his unite. However, he does require good teammates to work the best, but he is still pretty solid.
@@peanutty523block on snorlax is so good I wished he had the tiniest crumb of healing on the non flail build, with every new release having burst dmg and cc he really hurt for it (or make block shield better)
Trevenant was never underrated. Playing potion (I know), focus band, weakness policy, and energy amp is incredible. Try it out, the cool down on the stuns and healing are incredible
8:38 you actually did not unite deciduey in the rayquaza fight because when gardevoir ko'd deci only mewtwo assisted not and deci also didn't got the mark from trev's unite but all other unite was on deciduey
I like to play GROOT but the problem is his unite is Preety useless for me cuz i am an aggressive player,it's unite doesn't do much damage i think his unite needs buffs. Overall pretty tanky and reliable

Yup ironically I just had a jungle deci game where a trev just bonked me all game 😭 I was too impressed to be mad lol

I didn't forget how trevenant is OP, literally got over 100k for healing, endurance, and damage playing it.

I have 60% win rate on defenders. Trev being my most used. The CC & Survivability is huge.
My main favourite defender is always gonna be trevenant. Over 100k damage, damage taken and healing. 👍 Best frontline pokemon ever!

For me Trev is kinda hard to play especially bcs rn because there are so many stuns in the game plus I feel like many pokemon can just out run you

Trev is the best defender with mewtwo Y. Wood hammer can get the bunch of enemies together and splash damage of Y just wipes them.

Trevanant is actually really strong but unfortunately, its not as good as Lapras, Umbreon and even Goodra. I do like him tho and he is viable.
After the crustle buffs, I would say that every defender is viable. Which is pretty nice
