The one who must be blame is Mido : he let Cruz becoming the Queen, he betray Silva and almost destroy Vein by turning him into the Skull King, just to prove he was right about the Aragami and the revenants.
I still think that Mido got a point in his arguments and motivations about all that situation with the aragamis and evolution, but his ways to achieve them were way WAAYYY to horrendous. He wanted to do something about it, but he was too selfish and heartless.

Cruz should have been an actual boss to fight. Or a proper DLC enemy. I wouldn't mind another flashback into my past memories. Karen told me I was killed 2 days ago anyway. Lol

i would have like it too, but i'm not sure if this could be explained lore wise, since the memories implie she was almost invincible, able to even beat the ass out of aragami before they can evolve or adapt to her, and when we know the power of one relic Boss or the Queen's Knight, i don't even imagine how we could stop something with all those power, combined with the fact at least, the last boss was huge and easy to target, imagine a boss human sized with large Aoe attack all around and every kind of range for her patern x)
@@MasterEldriel in the very first scene of our flashback she kill us and a full squad with it, as for the battle in which we kill her, we were support by Silva and Jake, and we mostly take her by surprise more than defeat her fairly, we were already infected at this moment and when we take the facts about the queen and the relics in the game, like the barriers blocking all the area and the ability for single relics to give the character enough power to shape their prison, a "fully empowered queen" with "the ability shown in lore only" would be unrealistic, we can take as exemple the size of some of the shard she trow we can still see on every map, especially on the frozen area, I have loved to fight the monster made with her relics but his ability are nowhere near the "fully empowered queen" we heard through all the game, also most of the material in game where made using her, so I'm pretty confident about what I said earlier. She basically have shape the whole world of code vein long before the beginning of the game and we mostly dealt with her legacy and BBEG willing to use it for themselves

If queen thorns can be blocked by silva alone, then shes not that powerful, surely, those things are strong, she can use them to clean a lot soldiers, but those are simple soldiers nothing else
Kinda hoped that frenzied Cruz was the last boss instead of her father and virgin blood in which she will finally be laid to rest forever but then again, Code Vein's theme is Sacrifice. Ngl, she's cute as hell
Also Cruz was killed by protag before the beginning of the game. Only, part of her psyche lived on within him/her. But it would’ve been cool if one of the endings included having to resurrect her from your own blood and finally put her down for good. That would be a crazy good boss fight.
Unpopular opinion: Only reason we got a total of two solid hits in on Cruz is because she LET herself get hit. Even in a severely weakened state, that fight honestly should have been a total victory for her considering how powerful she was even then. Hell, the way she caught Jack's sword both times... Especially the second time... She wasn't even LOOKING at him. Cruz, or rather the Queen, essentially told Jack he ain't shit LMAO
Honestly I can believe that based on other evidence. Cruz cupping your cheek and whispering her wish for you to save everyone after you successfully take her down. Cruz creating the Attendants of the Relics after her own death. Cruz being present in your mind and blood to help you reform your very identity before you awaken to be found by Io. What possible explanation for all these things if not that Cruz was still fighting on, even after the Queen has fully subsumed control of her body?

@@CB-141 the blood code’s description does state that we got it from gathering all the relics and becoming the queen To me this probably means that we do somewhat become the queen in the true ending. In game the queen bloodcode is probably just made weaker to keep it fun. That’s what I think at least

This reminds me of my cosplay character that I made of what Cruz's brother would look like if she had one. I am pretty sure I made him look pretty good in my opinion, and pretty accurate too. It was so hard to find a clear picture of Cruz too, that I could use as a reference.

This theme right here is why I wish there was an ending where the Player Protagonist became the new queen, but managed to control it.

There's actually the QUEEN Blood code in the game which gives you the Purgin Thorns ability
