Good stuff bro. I have watched a ton of videos following my recent surgery and this is A1 material. Praying for your practice and more coverage for you. JH
Could you make a video about "why wouldn't we want to go to surgery and try everything else" I feel like it is unnecessary for me since i would just be happy to walk and bicycle 😅
Hi. Im considering an ACL surgery. But looking at your videos I learnt it's not a very straight forward process. As such I want to know if I can live without a surgery and lead a normal life without any repurcussions in future. Also I'm not an active sports person. I have a grade 3 ACL tear. Appreciate your response. Thanks
Great question. it is very variable on many different factors. Because you are not looking to go back to a sport i would most likely lean towards non op. However, it also depends on how your knee responds to the rehab. You need to find a good acl rehab specialsit to help guide you with this. I put the surgery off for 10 years and after a few dislocations, I ended up with arthritis and meniscus damage etc. So I did get the surgery BUT 2 of the initial injuries healed in that time. So it's all so individual.
I am eight days post surgery. I can put weight on my leg and walk with crutches sometimes without but I have A LOT of stiffness near my stitches which causes pain and I ability to flex more than 50 degrees. Does this tightness lessen?
My protocol is criteria based but we're following it to a T basically. I'm doing physio twice a week in person and 3x/day at home. I'm 6 weeks now and feeling pretty frustrated. When is a good 'timeline' for heel to butt? (even though we just said its not good to base on time haha)
You said it. Not good to base on time. But it’s important that you are doing the right things at the right time when demonstrating you are physically able. If you are frustrated with your current plan of care, we would love to help. Would you be interested in talking more?

it will lessen as long as you worlk it properly, and your doing mobility exercises daily
When youre cleared to do so go to the gym and work that quad. Im 5 months post op and i am only 5% lower in strength now
How do you feel now?
Hello! Will my knee work well after 50 years post acl recovery if I will make all exercises? Didn’t see any examples 😢
There really aren't any 50 year studies for ACL repairs lol. Even people's healthy knees become weak at old age
I recently had an ACL reconstruction, a week passed now it's getting some swelling. How do I control this swelling?
Ice, elevation, anti inflammatories
