The animation of the original Lion King has so much personality. You feel attached to the characters in 2D and even 3D animations. "Live action" is soulless in comparison. It's not even real live action as they still had to animate hyperealistic lions. I guarantee most kids will be bored not even 10 minutes into the movie. Disney are just releasing flop after flop at this point...

Personally, with my hypothesis, I think kiros the white lion King is actually the strange lion that gave scar the snake bite and it would make sense a rogue group of lions that are white zira would likely be that type of lion in the reboot And what better way to give the strange lion a name than the name of this lion right here? 1:34

If some dedicated fans were to reanimate the entire movie in the OG Lion King style, I would rather watch that over the official relase any day. Heck, even if it was a Reanimated collab where each person does their own style, I'd still rather watch that.
