This brochure came out at the first convention I attended after being inactive for 8 years. The only reason I went that Sunday afternoon was because my sister invited me that morning to come to see the drama with her. I had a 4 month old baby and had not seen or spoken to my parents since I had left. I made the impulse decision to go, and when that brochure was released I thought it was a sign to return. That day I reunited with my parents and they were so happy to see me there and were over the moon to meet their grandson. I remember my step father, who was an elder, called me about a week later and talked to me about the brochure, and was telling me how close we must be to the end because many, many people that had left were starting to flood back into the organization. I took the bait and I returned. Looking back on that now I can see the strategy this organization employs, all the lies, manipulation and propaganda, how they use your family as bait, the love bombing 😫 it's sickening. I woke up to the reality of what this organization is last year. My parents are back to shunning me, which is expected since I wrote my letter to disassociate, but what shocked me was that they completely shunned my son too, who is 14 and not even baptized. To make matters worse I have heard that they are bad mouthing us and telling the congregation that we want nothing to do with them, even tho I begged them to see how cruel the shunning policy is, how the society was using them to try to manipulate us, and it's the opposite of how a Christain should treat others. I had also reached out to them to ask them to see my son, the response I got was that they now had nothing in common with him since he won't go to meetings or out in service. Such a heartbreaking thing to hear. Sorry I rambled on, I guess seeing that brochure just stirred up some memories 😌
Do NOT apologize!! Your feelings are 100% valid & your story needs to be heard. These shared experiences are what help people open their eyes to the harmful practices they're entangled in. I'm so sorry for your sweet boy, it's double unfair to him. He's blessed to have a mom that fought so hard for him. Proud of you both!!!
The Governing Body has poisoned their minds and they just don’t see it. They would win over more people if they didn’t display such hypocritical ‘conditional love’ and actually showed true heartfelt understanding and compassion for people like Jesus did.
Saw this horrid brochure on my partner’s nightstand and my heart sank with dread. I skimmed through it. I wanted to burn the damn thing, but obviously that wouldn’t go over too well. The bit where it hints that you can’t be happy outside the org. Oh give me a break 🤮. I immediately went to the tubes of you and knew someone out there had to have done a piece on this load of garbage. Sure enough, here you two are. Thank you for doing this. I never was a JW but am a nondenominational Christian and I can’t tell you how much I value Falon’s perspective on this.
@@DiffiCULTChildhood ugh … I want to puke. Last night he sends me a link to the video about the woman who returns to the org after spending time as a “worldly person.” I replied with the following message and hopefully I didn’t mess things all up. I wanted to say a LOT more but he hates texting and didn’t want him to gloss over it for being too long. “Please don’t take this personal, but it’s extremely insulting how WT portrays people like me. They cannot stand people like me, and for many reasons I can’t list all of them here. That I can’t be happy unless I’m one of them. That I can’t know God without them and people are too dumb to know what the Bible says. They call it “the truth,” but the Bible teaches Jesus is the way and the truth and the life. You can’t get to the Father without Jesus, and they take him out of the equation. Jesus name is the name above all names.”
@@DiffiCULTChildhood Thank you for replying! I’m relieved you think so. I was pretty upset when I sent it. I was going to wait until morning to reply cause it was late but I just couldn’t do it. If I was going to get any sleep, I had to say it and get that off my chest. I wish I could say more. He won’t listen to me if I’m face to face with him. Hard to ignore a text. He simply replied with, “Ok,” and nothing more. I hope a seed is planted at least. I have a journal of all the things I wish I could say to him, and I hope he finds it someday. My most recent entries were my own study on what the good news actually is according to the Bible and then followed with what the Bible says is God’s kingdom. All of it written as if he might read it someday.
The amount of stories, bad moments and memories i have of the first 30 years of my life spent in their midst, would lend me a book. I really feel the need to share my experience, but it is so much, it is so bad, i don't even know where to start.
That’s the pamphlet that sucked me back in, and my life went down hill after that! I studied with an elder, was telling him I had severe anxiety, and he was like stone faced. It was partly from coming back, and still he didn’t even care or offer any help or even have sisters check on me. It wasn’t right when I went back, that I had the anxiety. I had been back a little while and my anxiety got worse AFTER GOING BACK, NOT LESSENING, BUT ACTUALLY GETTING WORSE! I had only been inactive, not sinning, so why not have sisters encourage me? Things got harder and harder too, so know blessings! I made a bad decision to move here, lose financial help because the “end was due to come” and now awake, if I want to move, I can’t afford it. So, AFTER coming “back to Jehovah” things got much worse, and only leaving the religion and doing research, then things made sense! NO WAY DO I WANT TO GO BACK!
I'm sorry you didn't get the emotional support you needed. Elder-auto-pilot (stone faced listening) is a very real thing & it sucks. Happy to hear you now have your freedom! Thank you for watching! 😘 -Falon
Some thing happen to me....told elder & his wife need prayers and can pray with me NOW. He the elder refused!! No true love in JW unless in social clique of their own favorite friends and so fake in many ways
Most JWs seem to suffer from depression and anxiety. The whole environment at meetings is low energy. Most elders i knew hade wifes with anxiety and depression
I tried to "return to Jehovah" 1.5 years ago. Immediately the elders brought me to the back room and forced a 6 month Bible study because I forgot everything. Truth is that I learned more than everyone else did. I got so sick of it and left for good.
This old sister actually did accuse my mom of stealing from her, told all the sisters in service groups, and I remember totally reassuring my mom that I knew she’d never do that, and that the sisters know better than believe that old sister. Then the elder told my mom basically to suck it up, wait it out. I only wish now that my mom would think well of me, knowing I left for conscientious reasons. I try to tell her scripture reasons shy i left, and she says “Satan’s working on me.” and at times says “I’ll find out when Armageddon comes…”(and I’m a goner!”
Thank you for making these videos - it is a great comfort to me. My mum and sister joined the JWs when I was 4. My mum had a period of a few years where she left but I recently found out that she has rejoined. Hearing people analyse the JW literature is comforting and informative. Thank you!
Hi buddy! I think what helps people the most is just hearing how your experience, however difficult, is shared by many others. You're not alone! Thanks for watching! -Falon
@@DiffiCULTChildhood Absolutely yes. I am so worried about my mum and sister. It's like they've given up on life and have no agency to make decisions that will benefit their physical and mental health. It inspires me to continue offering unconditional love because of how conditional the JW love it. It's by no means easy but I want to offer something better for them.
Wow‼️ Loved both of your deep insights and introspection ❤ especially loved the end how you captured your ex wife’s face when touring Julliard campus and her having the realization that SOMETHING IS WRONG. Praise Jesus for both of you coming out of a cult! I can only hope and pray my in-laws wake up as well.
Fantastic. Happy for Rebecka finally pursuing her dreams. It's time we all tried to experience a little of what we could have been. I'll be taking a theatre class this fall to honor the young playwright in me that suppressed her dreams decades ago ❤
Each time you read or used the word “Jehovah”, I substituted the phrase “Governing Body”. It always fit better, and is more logical, bcuz it’s really about obedience to nine guys and the earthly Watchtower. Every “guidance” is like a blinker worn by a horse, designed to keep one from seeing what’s really happening all around him/her. Agreed, prayer is all that is needed. “Elder guidance” is an oxymoron. Wonderful she joined an orchestra. Never too late to begin working on a music degree.
That second one - someone leaves because someone hurt them in the congregation - that one completely dismisses the intense horrificness (?) of csa. That’s not a simple hurt. They downplay it.
The Friends were constantly belittled for getting offended by the Elders or other Friends .......There is really only so much intrusion on your life that any SANE human can endure ,before you need to leave or go nuts ........MY MIND BELONGS TO ME 🎉🎉🎉🎉
It's a subtle way of conditioning JWs that there's *never* a legitimate reason to leave the organization. No matter what abuses JWs or WT heaps on you, stay and take it.
@@adamantiumbullet9215 unfortunately it is no longer subtle .......its nasty ,in your face hatred for no reason other than we are not of their sort ..STUPID .🤪🤪🤪
That brochure brought me stupidly back, and I was told to “study a few times with a sister and just reDO answering my baptism questions again to make sure I still was in accord with “Jehovah’s Organization.” (which brings me to this part.) The article uses “Jehovah’s Organization” as if everyone has to ASSUME it is “God’s” organization. Anyway, regarding my “return to Jeh…” I mean…THE ORG…The 3 elders I saw were cool, said a few studies, do a run down of the questions of my baptism, and go out in service a few times with the sister to get back acquainted and in the swing of things. Did them, but it turned out much longer studying and then wanted to ask the elder coordinator why I was not being allowed to report the time I had been going out in service (because they wouldn’t accept my report, and gave me no reason why. (Later, too, they didn’t issue me my own card for the District or Regional Convention in that summer) So I went to my C.O. to ask when I could stop my study, as it was just supposed to be “a few” and asked why I couldn’t report my time, as they had just refused it from me. What did the C. O. do? He chastised me right in front of a bunch of congregation members, and then later that summer, when I asked the brothers for a lapel card because I was like the ONLY one there without one there. When asking at the convention it got really embarrassing and like had elders asking and no answer, and it like made me a spectacle! I didn’t put it together why that happened! I now realize this was really a power move they had done, to humiliate me because they knew I was attending that convention! WHAT TOTAL JERKS THEY TURNED OUT TO BE!!
Wow! Is it any wonder ppl are leaving in droves??? All these man-made rules & punishments... what a load of crap. Sorry you went through it, glad you made it out the other side! -Fal
Once getting out from watchtower, make sure not to be a disciple of any religious organisations and live a life without exploitation and manipulation of religious leaders.
My parents LIED to me and made up an excuse to visit me just to give this to me trying to make me promise to read it. I tore thus brochure up when i read some line about "missing your real friends.". I have zero real friends in that organization
You are absolutely right. I realized over the DF arrangement that JWs are just a community of purpose. JW never meant to be friends. As a real friend you don't drop a friend like a hot potato just because one small sentence is read from a platform. Friendship is different! In a community of purpose, if the purpose is gone the community is gone. That's proof it.
When I became a JW I knew it was just a preaching cooperation. But I liked the paradise message and help preach it. Knowing that it's just a cooperation saved me from getting disappointed
Falon and Jason, excellent analysis. Isn’t it ironic when Elders expect and demand from us to forgive our children sexual abusers, when one of those elders is the perpetrator? For me it is impossible to understand the hate, the cruelty and the lack of compassion that exists within the JW Organization. It is the Result of their Narcissistic Leaders Influence.
Even though JWs use the brochure to attempt to bring you back, the elders do not follow the guidance provided. I used the brochure during my attempt to return to the congregation. I brought up the brochure, the elders eyes glaze over and they do not speak. It was obvious to me that the elders never intended to welcome you back. The elders use the brochure to draw you into a trap. The elders mean to discipline you. Do not be fooled.
I remember bringing up the point that it was the shepherd that went out looking for the sheep, not the sheep having to keep writing letters to the elders to get reinstated. And their response was well that’s why we’re doing this meeting for you. And I’m thinking… No, that’s not true. You didn’t reach out to me. One day I’m gonna tell him they’re so full of BS. Let the fading begin…
And this was after they wrongfully disfellowshipped me and it took three attempts to get back. There’s no way in hell I’m a Believer in this crap anymore.
The 2nd point they give for why a person should return is that God will "protect and support" them. Yet they acknowledge that the reason some left is because they were not protected or supported, but were HURT by their association with the organization. Countless victims of abuse were given neither protection nor support by God or "his" organization. Oftentimes the abuser was given protection and support, while the victim was silenced, marginalized, or even expelled. God apparently did not feel responsible enough for these victims to have even directed they be given an apology, let alone answered their prayers or their cries for justice. The only spiritual feeding they receive is pablum: "Wait on Jehovah." Unfortunately, there is every reason to believe this same level of "protection and support" is exactly what would await them should they return.
All of these stories had a lot of resemblances to my own story. I’ve been Pomo around a year now. (There’s a lot more to my story, which, one day I hope to give my testimony.) Falon I love your name. ❤❤❤ Shawshank 😂 I was also left that brochure in my car. 🤷🏽♀️ who put it there. Ultimately it’s why I returned…after being beaten by my ex fiancé. I thought then after I had no where else to go, went to my parents. Full blown witnesses. Turned my life around. Only to have had the most terrifying experiences happen. I have mental illness issues added on top of the ones I already had. Trauma. PTSD. Depression. Anxiety. BPD. Agoraphobia. MAJOR Trust issues. I woke up….following thoughts for a long time that it was all BS. My Best friend since we were teenagers, whom I thought would never leave, Woke me up. I owe her my life, because, She, saved me. *trigger warning ⚠️. My life was no longer meaningful. I lost everyone I love. It was me. I was at fault and guilty of so many mistakes I made. I made everyone else’s life hell. That I wanted to end it all…and tried. Several times I tried. But, She saved me! Gave me hope again. Went through all my feelings with me. I don’t know why I babble on. 😂 Babylon 😂. Anyway I’m out happy, healing and starting over. I loved this podcast! Keep doing it please! New subscriber here! Thank you! And to everyone here, Thank you 😊
The pamphlet didn’t also mention another reason Why people “drift”. They decide to become more spiritual and less religious, and they don’t feel the need to Continually re-indoctrinate themselves two times a week. They don’t feel that they want to be on the religious hamster wheel going nowhere.
You too are fantastic and make a great team! I love your approach to everything XJW. Your channel has quickly become my favorite XJW Channel. Great content👌🏼 Thank you❤🙏🏼

Gee. I had problems in the Organization and got anxious too! Wow, I disagreed with the No Blood Doctrine when I saw children die. They didn’t put bandaids on me, they threw me out! Then I got depressed, went to get Professional help “in the world”, and gosh...got better!

Oh look, its the brochure where the artwork on Jesus thumb is so poorly done. Take note of the thumb. Doesn't their artist know how to draw a thumb to scale. Have you seen the artwork on the story of the good samaritan taking care of the man who was robbed? Please investigate this picture, you will be surprised at how well the robber was being taken care of. The artist must have been having a hard day 😂
Bible formula for spiritual growth is clear. Paulus preached ( preaching work) Apollo's watered ( platform) God made it growth. Paulus wrote to Timothy about being absorbed in public reading. That progress would be noticeable too everyone if he did. Watchtower never did any real arrangement for platform moving forward. There's no spiritual development in congregations if platform can't be blessed.
I would tell the former Jehovah's Witnesses who have recently left that cult not to let the Watchtower Society's Governing Body shame them into returning to it. After the way the elders and current Jehovah's Witnesses treated them, I would say "no way". Going back to that cult would be like good back to an abusive relationship. Thank you for this eye-opening video.
Your best future customer is someone who has purchased from you before. The GB knows they can never bring up their numbers from people coming into the religion from the field. The only way to do it is to get previous customers to come back. They try to make it look like there are actual benefits to going back to the religion when there are none. The real reason they want you back is to improve their numbers. To get more donations. To get more people hunting for suckers in the field ministry. The GB wanting you back is for their advantage; not yours.
So true. Another fact is it's much more efficient and cost-effective to retain a customer than to get a new customer. However, JWs put in little to no effort to encourage a fellow JW that is discouraged, depressed, having doubts, etc. when they become inactive. JWs just blow them off as "unfaithful" and put zero effort into keeping that JW around. This was true in my case. I quit WT cold turkey, going from never missing a meeting and putting in 20-30 hours a month in service, to nothing. NOT ONE Elder or other JW even asked where I'd gone? It wasn't important. But, they'll continue to devote a billion hours a year to the ministry, where it takes 18,000 hours to gain ONE convert, rather than show any interest in someone who's already a JW.
@@adamantiumbullet9215 That's if you can believe any of their numbers. For example, in the US Branch territory they still claim to have 1.2 million witnesses. How is this possible with the number of congregations merged and kingdom halls sold. This would be putting the same amount of people in less space. A physical impossibility.
@@ozie4779 *"A physical impossibility."* JW answer: "With Jehovah, all things are possible." I don't believe WT's numbers at all. While claiming unprecedented growth WT is simultaneously closing Branch offices, minimizing staff at headquarters, selling KHs, and combining congregations. As recent videos have proven, even when 2-4 congregations are merged, KH auditoriums are still almost empty.
Just the fact that GB Sanderson said “YOU CAN SAY HI AT THE MEETINGS WITH THE DF’d, BUT DON’T SAY TOO MUCH, BECAUSE WE DON’T WANT TO GET…” WITH SUCH PERSONS” SUCH PERSONS!” Vary like a contagious person to you” cuties! Ick! lol
This was after Sanderson said that JWs were now allowed to exercise their conscience in this matter. Of course, a JW is 'allowed' to exercise their conscience only within the confines of the artificial rules WT enforces with an iron fist.
@@ronhansen8471 Did you come up with that completely irrelevant, off-topic thought all on your own, Ron? Or, did your secretary do it for you? By, the way the word you're looking for is counsel, not council.
The first time I really noticed that they were attributing things to the GB rather than Watchtower or Jehovah was quite recently when they were speaking of greeting (but no more!) disfellowshipped persons at Memorial and again when relaxing the dress code. I noticed because they repeatedly said "the Governing Body has decided..." and when they use repetition I take more notice. I don't think they say anything by accident so I assumed this is deliberate wording. Perhaps so it's easier to walk back if they change their minds (because the GB are just fallible men allegedly). They've probably got tired of past utterances coming back to haunt them so this is a way of avoiding that ..
Once you lose the fear and anxiety of getting on or off Santa Claus,s naughty or nice list ,you can never go back to your childhood beliefs . in addition in the prodigal son story , his righteous brother was very judgmental and was very angry at his father for throwing a feast for his younger brother who returned. Only God can forgive and not the elders: to forgive is blasphemy ( Mk 2:5-12)
About a dozen have returned in my congregation. Including one individual that was inactive for about a dozen years and another that was inactive for nearly 20 years.
Where I live, this how much they don't care,I feel left out,no one showed me that Bro sure, two JWs know im hwre, here, one ask for an elder to visit me,I did tell that one young brother that I don't fit in,I've been ignored, gossiped about, one place was hateful, they destroyed my records, been here for going on either 8 to 9 years,no visit,so I proved my point, but only one time I new JWs been in my nieghourhood was an invite to the memorial, but then saw two sisters visiting my neighbour, oddly enough I said hello, they said hello back then did the visit, as they left, didn't try to witness to me,second visit same one sister and a brother stopped next door,I said my greetings they looked a bit uncomfortable, then left,I talk to a disfellowshiped brother which was the father of one brothers that knew whereI am,he said sounds like your marked, isn't that convenient, never have a visit to tell me your not going is why your marked, bunch of cowards.
Regarding the bizarre illustrations in WT literature: _"The Governing Body follows similar guidelines. Each article in both The Watchtower and Awake! and every page, _*_including the artwork,_*_ is scrutinized by selected members of the Governing Body before it is printed... Therefore, you can read The Watchtower and Awake! with confidence."_ (w87 3/1 p. 15 pars. 18-19) If the GB is scrutinizing the artwork then we can only conclude it's intended to be there as presented. If the GB is not scrutinizing the artwork, then they are lying. Either way, it doesn't look good for WT at all.

Question: why does Jehovah not disfellowship, reprove, or shun the GB for all the stench of the organization called by his name, the way in which they will disfellowship, reprove, and shun members of the rank-and-file for sermingly any minor infraction. Rhetorical.
Excellent question my friend!!! The short answer is because double standards ABOUND within the organization. There's no explanation needed beyond that 🤣🤣 Thank you for watching! -Falon

To the Watchtower org., returning to Jehovah is tantamount to returning to "the organization". Most who were disfellowshipped never LEFT JEHOVAH OR HIS SON! YOUR BIBLE-BRAIN DEAD ELDERS KICKED THEM OUT because of making up their own definition of "sin"! Maybe they left the organization BECAUSE they wanted to return to Jehovah! Why would anyone want to return to a way of life by which the elders and others elevate themselves above you and micro-manage your every thought, deed, word, and endeavor in your life! Unlike returning to God, who is "forgiving, merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness.".......Nehemiah 9: 17 Or to Jesus our King;...."Come to me, all who are loaded down, and I will refresh you. For my yoke is kind and my load is light.".. Matt. 11: 28, 29
This really grieves my heart and the Lord Jesus's heart because the name Jehovah cannot save anybody it's at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord those in heaven , and those in hell and those under the sea below to the glory of God
Do please notice that the only reasons the Tower acknowledges you're not a JW are all YOU problems! Never THEM problems. Those cannot be acknowledged. Those, we must pretend...do not exist! What a joke. The more desperate and ridiculous they get, the more my decision to exit is validated.
23:29 You mention not isolate myself. But this is gaslighting because if they those at the Hall isolate you, it is NOT YOU that isolates yourself but THEY and then they lie out their lips and say YOURE isolating yourself. Let's do it to her/him and say they do it to themselves. Let's do it to Job and tell him he causes it as the sinner he is.
Something I notice here is that the image is given of Jesus with the lamb, which uses the bedrock provided by Christianity, and then the publication repeatedly puts Jehovah in that personal pastoral role. I know they do this all of of the time but it's pretty blatant here- JW's are conditioned not to notice this but the rest of us should. The theological disconnect is quite strong - with JW's there is no Trinity, so they shouldn't use Jehovah and Jesus interchangeably. Even if they do switch and lean more on Jesus, it's stated that Jesus is not the mediator for the Great Crowd so there relationship Jesus is still questionable - apparently the Anointed are the ones the Great Crowd need to turn to..
Thanks for watching! And yes, their denial of the deity of Christ is the #1 issue that alienates potential listeners in the door to door ministry. (At least in my past experience) -Falon
Actually, the JW's are correctly taught that Jesus or Yeshua is also 'divine' as the only begotted Son of His Father Jehovah or Yahweh. Jesus is also divine because he was born of the seed (from his Father Jehovah's Holy Spirit to the virgin Mary). However, Jesus` Father Jehovah is higher than His son He created above all creation. His Father Jehovah, after His Son's sacrifice to redeem mankind from Adamic sin, gave His Son Jesus All Authority in heaven & earth to rule over mankind for 1,000 years during his mellenial reign after Armageddon. Thereafter, Jesus will return ALL authority back to his Father Jehovah... All clear facts within ALL Bibles! As for the GB they have expressed their fallability as imperfect men. However, the GB are trying to make gradual improvements as imperfect men with regards to leading & guiding the flock pertaining to priciples of behaviour protocol. The GB members over the past 150 years have evolved & changed in this system due to aging, sickness & sleep in death. Therefore over time, experience & maturity, there will naturally be some adjustments & changes to various policies with clearer wisdom, discernment & understanding of scriptures. All entities, including secular churches, temples & synogues etc will have leaders and/or committees to oversee & implement principles & policies etc to maintain peace & order...

Hi Steven. Partially. I think the JW version of god doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. I would also say I’m an atheist of the Judeo-Christian god because the biblical creator doesn’t match what is known about the natural world. For example, scientists have observed in our genes, artifacts that show we have been around a lot longer than 6000 years. I read Why Evolution Is True by Jerry A. Coyne. His explanations of nature made a lot more sense to me than Genesis. Also A Universe from Nothing by Lawrence Krauss was interesting, but I had to listen to it on audible a couple times before I understood, lol. I’ve been thinking about making a video about this, but it’s not my intention to alienate believers who are looking for a path to leave JW’s. I’ve been finding that people get annoyed with me when I go into this topic. And since leaving the JW Org is our main goal, I’ve censored myself. Also they are just my opinions so I don’t wanna come off as condescending to people who believe. On the other hand, it might be interesting to get peoples’ reaction. I would be open to an analysis of my reasoning to see if I got the logic wrong. Thank you for asking. What are your views? - Jason
33:34 my deceased JW mom has always been right about the prodigal son and how sinners at the Hall or you apostates always praise yourselves as if ourified by fire (sins) and ignore that this firstborn son said HE will be lower than all his brothers and he will work with the slaves at a slaves wage to pay it all back. WHY do you two ignore that? Because be it apostate sinners or good-standing evil sinners at the Hall, you live the lie inside your hearts. You remind me of the latest curse someone put upon me saying David never cut off Goliath's head.

This is so sad I am sorry at least you and your son have each other 😢
The Governing Body has poisoned their minds and they just don’t see it.

Guess they left that part (mandatory re-indoctrination) out of the brochure 🤔 SO glad you made it out! 🤩 -Falon

I reassured my mom for so many hours it got dark, trying to help my mom think that older sister turned everyone against her. I wish she had my back.
That second one - someone leaves because someone hurt them in the congregation - that one completely dismisses the intense horrificness (?) of csa. That’s not a simple hurt. They downplay it.

Amen, buddy.
Same here, Mike. I thought I had the best friends a person could ever have in the Org.
I left WT...and discovered I never had any friends at all.
These men are nothing outside of the cult of the Witchtower society
Even though JWs use the brochure to attempt to bring you back, the elders do not follow the guidance provided. I used the brochure during my attempt to return to the congregation. I brought up the brochure, the elders eyes glaze over and they do not speak. It was obvious to me that the elders never intended to welcome you back. The elders use the brochure to draw you into a trap. The elders mean to discipline you. Do not be fooled.
Wow. That’s interesting. I don’t know why someone bringing up that brochure to elders never occurred to me. Good on you! @vickilson-cv2ky - Jason
You should never blame for not knowing how to manage your time and not able to communicate.
The only spiritual feeding they receive is pablum: "Wait on Jehovah."
Unfortunately, there is every reason to believe this same level of "protection and support" is exactly what would await them should they return.
They absolutely want to have their cake & eat it, too. Ridiculous all around. (Thanks for joining us!) -Falon

I was also left that brochure in my car. The watchtower’s spiritual food is bland, contains no nutrients for actual growth, but is the same old gruel with a different flavor packet added.
@@ozie4779
*"A physical impossibility."*
JW answer: "With Jehovah, all things are possible."
I don't believe WT's numbers at all. While claiming unprecedented growth WT is simultaneously closing Branch offices, minimizing staff at headquarters, selling KHs, and combining congregations. As recent videos have proven, even when 2-4 congregations are merged, KH auditoriums are still almost empty.

Regarding the bizarre illustrations in WT literature:
_"The Governing Body follows similar guidelines. Each article in both The Watchtower and Awake! and every page, _*_including the artwork,_*_ is scrutinized by selected members of the Governing Body before it is printed... Therefore, you can read The Watchtower and Awake! with confidence."_ (w87 3/1 p. 15 pars. 18-19)

It's rude to me to come into my life, shoving that💩 in my face... again. And, the love bombing,... yes, that's exactly what she's been doing. It's disgusting. I'm just waiting for her to hand me that pamphlet... shes probably dying to.
They have absolutely no respect for boundaries. Sorry you’re dealing with that. I definitely know the feeling. - J
Lol, finished the video,... wow. Best one I've seen in awhile. Thanks sooo much. Added it to my list of JW Cult videos. This has been Great Therapy. The end, thanks, Jason, for sharing. Pic of your wife says it all. So happy she's fulfilling dreams now. Absolutely Love, love, love that. Cheers 🥂 from Edmonton, Canada.

Thank you for making this video. Very well done! The scene of Rebecca playing professionally with the orchestra gave me chills. Happy chills! We are all lucky to be out!😊
Thank you so much!
-Falon
Falon I think that was rhetorical. 😊
Good morning 🎉

No, you didn’t get it wrong…Wish I saw what you saw. I experienced the temporary love bombing, but years later, barrely had friends inside AFTER COMING BACK. Woke up, and now out and NOT REGRETTING. I say that IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT GOING BACK…FIRST REALLY DO YOUR RESEARCH ABOUT THE RELIGION…

Come back and experience the guilt, fear, judgement and control all over again.
Facts!
I think a good come back to "a lost sheep is not a lost cause" would be that "not all those who wander are lost"
Yeah! And maybe also, "All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
Regarding the cover, not only is his right hand thumb as long as his fingers, but his left hand last 3 fingers look like stubs. They don’t look curled under. And the first finger is disproportionately thick. What a lousy artist.
So I've been out for 30 years, do I have to tell them all the horrible things I've gone through over the years? I haven't done anything but smoking about 5 cigs a day for the last decade, but I was thinking about going back, I don't want to tell them all about my past though!!!!
Don’t go back!! Seek Christ ❤
I’ve been thinking about making a video listing all my “sins“ and asking them why I’m not disfellowshipped. lol - jason
John 14:6 "Jesus is the way, the truth and the life."
You can speak for GOD? That’s pretty neat. Did HE tell you he’s grieved or are you just guessing? - Jason

Thanks! We're glad to have you!
A classic sign of WT narcissism: any problems are ALWAYS someone else's fault, not WT's.
@@adamantiumbullet9215 the WT proclaims loud & clear who they are.

Is this a no to Christmas and women's lib?
lol. And Christmas
Is this a 'no' to National Clean Out Your Desk Day?
@@diannelesley1954 if they admit the light was darkness (then how great that darkness is) - why not apologize for what they had wrong. Here i am talking about taking a organ being equal to cannibalism or apologizing for shunning (which was only changed after the Norway trials). I have a problem with people saying that IT IS JEHOVAH who says this and that - when they are wrong. Honest question and i am honestly interested in your response.
Are you saying that nobody was hurt by "wrong decisions"??
Isnt that sad,God gave that talent, but God's organization says you can't use that talent, glad she is enjoying that talent now.
Actually you guys, my mom once was accused by this very old pioneer sister of stealing and she told everyone this, and my mom says she didn’t. I believed her, totally supported my mom when accused…funny, though, because when I woke up, left the Org, she has always since taken the Org’s side, over her daughter, me…she picks 9 men over believing or even hearing me out, and not judging me as worthy of destruction from Armageddon! (the harshest treatment I think.)
minute 23-24 here is where is the difference between my words and DELIBERATE WT propaganda. When i tell the story i say my nonJW husband divorced me, or my JW husband divorced me. And perhaps it's true doesnt matter if he was JW or not, some women's hubby is JW some not. OR DOES IT MATTER; did the JW hubby divorce her with no grounds and gets a slap-reproof or nothing. Propaganda says Good story; so good let's leave that out.

Jason, are you an atheist because of the JW religion?
Hi Steven.
