I currently own a Havoc and this will be my second one. I have zero complaints and they make an awesome boat it’s fast and solid and mine is laid out strictly for bass fishing. One thing to add is the owner of Havoc Tim Scott is one of the nicest realist guys I have ever dealt with and you can’t put a price on that. I mean amazing customer service hands down Havoc has not forgotten what a handshake means and they stand behind there product.

I have experience with havoc. Before they started the owner was with edge boats. If I had to choose one I'd go with edge. They're faster and have a shallower draft. Also the reason the havoc is heavier is because they have more bracing. That boat's main purpose is timber duck hunting so it's gonna beat and bang on trees, stumps, etc therefore it needs the extra bracing

Haven't heard of Legendcraft until now. Awesome rigs from the looks of their website.

Legendcraft is actually an older boat company. Been through a few ownership changes. They used to be king of the flat bottom outboard jet market 15 yrs ago. Most were sold in the smaller jet region

I worked at havoc a few years ago. Tim, the owner is a great dude and if he could find some quality welders that boat would be untouchable. I tagged along to do some test runs when he was developing the Marsh Runner. I wish they wouldn’t have teased getting into bass boats bc if they explored 18-21 foot boats the sheer design of the boat would be so badass.

Jeez I feel like I got a GREAT deal on my ‘24 Havoc 1756 DBST!!! (.100 hull) Got a 50HP Suzuki and an aluminum trailer and my boat has some options… gun box, gun tray, interior lights, custom LED light bar housing and NAV lights up front, spud pole sleeves, interior lighting and I paid LESS than what your price is for a 1556 package.. with the same motor.
And looking at the hull and welds, I believe they have gotten the quality control better. I’m a duck hunter, so speed isn’t a main concern with me, and I feel the Havoc is a tougher boat with the I beam ribs.
Another thing is the dealer, I again feel like my dealer is great and he was more than willing to customize the boat to exactly what I want. And I have the owner of the dealership’s phone number and he’s happy to answer my calls and texts when I had questions. I don’t think I’ll have any problems if I need warranty help.

I have a tracker 1756 and I gotta say, that thing is built like a tank.it does 33 with a 40hp etec.the drawback is the lack of storage. I'm gonna have a custom deck extension built for it,then it will be totally legit.also,I believe it is made of .100 gage metal.

I run a 1652 Legendcraft Bandit SS right now, getting rid of it to buy a havoc as soon as i can…legendcraft is LIGHT AND FAST, really want the extra bracing and handling of a Havoc for duck hunting in timber

Those havoc boats are hard to beat they are popular with duck hunters. They are tough I have a buddy with one that's 17ft and we run it over rocks all the time with just a few scuffs on the hull.

A little late this vid party. I'm looking at getting a new rig. Legendcraft came on to my list to check out. Had a mechanic mention that Havocs are good boats but are not very stable and don't turn very well. Interior layout is important to me to get all my buddies and crap in and still be able to see while I get through the timber when participating in the "4am boat races". Legendcraft may be a little more flexible when it comes to layout. I know Excel has no flexibility with changes/subtractions/additions.

I know this video is 5 months old but Ill still chime in. How about a Mid size Tin comparison. Like for example 17 or 18 footers. Xpress H17 vs Tracker txw175 vs Ranger RT178
For the guys like myself who have downsized from their 20 foot glass to smaller tins. Ive had the Ranger now I own the Xpress and did consider the Tracker.

I have a new havoc the hull seems to be ok and the boat looks nice from a far. The floor is complete junk and the finish work is poor. There customer service is terrible I tried for months to get them to help me and never got anywhere wish I would have gone a different way.

The bandit does not have the quality of build the havoc does no where near as strong i have owned both and currently own a havoc and there is no way i would go back to a legend craft after owning the havoc it may be a cheaper boat but its bc your not getting as strong of a boat
