In lore, The Covent call Master Chief "The Demon." MF'er if a dude teleported through the floor and killed everyone in the room with a rocket launcher, I'd think he was a demon too...
Not really. If they spawn down on the platform instead of floating down you won't be able to snipe them as easily. In theory it'd be slightly faster tho, if you can manage to kill both with one shot. The segmented speedrun does that
@@SjoerdWiIIem I wasn't really wondering it it was easy. I assume it wouldn't be and I also assume it would be pretty random/inconsistent. I was more wondering if it would be possible at all to save time with it assuming perfect execution, such as someone willing to grind IL runs or a tool assisted run
Does anyone have an explanation for why when i try to hop in the pelican on mission 2 it just flies off??? Im trying to follow this video but cant figure out how he is finishing the level so early.
You have to visit and rescue (or slaughter like in the video) survivors at three places, in any order, to end the level. You can ride the Pelican after saving the last group of marines. At the first two places, a Pelican will come only if you managed to save them; otherwise, Cortana will just tell you to proceed.
OG Graphics are more in line with the hitbox Anniversary graphics have alot more fluff to the textures, this is esp obvious in covenant ship structures and halo trees And because its hitscan, if there is remotely 1 single blade of leaf there, its enough to block your shots So yea most speedruns of Halo 1 uses OG graphics for best optimised timing As for some stuff where anniversary graphics are helpful are mainly out of bounds areas that OG graphics won't load due to original wanting more optimisation of performance Anniversary doesn't need to as it can still optimise the codes abit here and there. And it can easily run codes of this old game with our current generation tech so they just lazy and cut corners here and there and leave textures still showing
13:49 "Marty, he's killing the Marines!"
41:10 lmaooo love the reference, also that was a clean ass run good shit bro

i was waiting for the purple burgular alarm thing i was saying it the whole time and then randomly a real Scottish guy appears
1:10
is the hunter teleport shown in this footage potentially faster than waiting for them to come down the lift?

Is OG graphics faster? Or does he prefer it.

Using Anniversary graphics exposes you to cancerous emissions from your Xbox, so it's a good idea to use OG graphics whenever possible.
