here's a home cooked recipe i love making with my mom: sweet time chicken and beans 1. You need sugar, and betty crocker chocolate ice icing 2. You'll need chicken strips and some bread crumbs, egg wash and lime 3. So you fry it up after eggwashing, roll it in the beans and bread crumbs repeteadly with the eggwash back and fourth, then you paint it in chocolate icing and sugar to create a crisp and sugary tasty chicken strip. Served with mayo dip :) the side dish can be some salad or fries
Well now I'm confused I tried making this the chicken was delicious but I had a lime left over, wasn't sure what to do with it so I sliced it and served it with a raw pork salad! Outstanding recipe kay should definitely make this!!!

I've made this Kay, a few years ago. It was in an old Marks n Spencers Cook book. It's not your fault kay the pastry was dry. Mine was, and I think it's due to the beans absorbing the moisture from the pastry. I did make another batch and sprinkled cheddar inside and out, which made it quite tasty. If you can't have cheese you could always use tomato slices or onion. That's quite tasty. Chopped up mushrooms too. However I don't think it's a flavoursome as beans and sausages on toast. I love to melt some dairylee on my beans. Happy cooking Kay xxx

RECIPE - 3 tablespoons pork lard , or butter or bacon grease (pork lard is traditionally used and imparts a great flavor) - 1 1/2 pounds yellow onions chopped - 1/4 cup quality genuine imported Hungarian sweet paprika - 1 1/2 pounds stewing beef , cut into 1/2 inch pieces - 5 cloves garlic, minced - 2 red bell peppers ,seeded/membranes removed, cut into 1/2 inch chunks - 1 yellow bell pepper ,seeded/membranes removed, cut into 1/2 inch chunks - 2 tomatoes ,diced - 2 carrots ,diced - 2 medium potatoes ,cut into 1/2 inch chunks - 5 cups beef broth (traditionally just water is used but beef broth adds so much more flavor) - 1 bay leaf - 1 teaspoon salt - 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Have you ever tried beer butt chicken? It's so easy and delicious. I like mine with Cajun seasoning. If you leave your bird at rom temp for an hour and a half or so before cooking, dry bird well, rub with oil, then season, the bird comes out super moist and perfect crispy skin. A little tricky getting the beer can in and out, and you do need to take a drink or two of the beer so it doesn't overflow when cooking, but all that moisture steams the inside of the chicken when cooking and it is a must try it you haven't yet
That looked right good, just like what you in Gregg's. Beans are a favourite lunchtime meal of mine and if could I would have beans and sausages coming out of my taps which would be perfect for when you have a bath because you could eat the beans after you had finished bathing in them. Fumbs up.
