*It's exactly what we wanted Lots of reviews by people are saying it's not sturdy **MyseIf.Furniture** ours must just be assembled correctly because it's sturdy. No, lifting up the top of the table from the side isn't gonna work. Lift from the center. Not hard to do.*

I`m retired and have a small shop where I perform woodturning, create musical instruments, and some cabinetry. I have a shelf full of woodworking textbooks - but I found this woodworking guide, t.co/SGIXIPXR0z . The comprehensiveness of this book is surprising. It has decent coverage on every topic.?

Make sure to sand with the grain, sanding against it will cause the wood to look scratched and damaged.

I think this should have had two coats of stain and maybe some polyurethane. It looks incomplete. Love the project though!!

I made one. But dont expect to use it for drinks. The gaps in the slates cause drinks to tip over. And any books or decorations you have under while get wet too lol

That's a good point!! You could attach plywood to the top. You could even use contact paper on the wood to get a change in texture!

If you use coasters for your drinks that should solve the problem!

I did not plan to make use of this woodworking book, *TopFineWoodworking. Com* but instead curious about it. I had been truly amazed right after trying it. I was seeking to learn more about the art of woodworking, and was not disappointed. I found many topics such as wood types and designing your workshop.
