I wish I could visit a timeline where the 32X caught on. It got more than its fair share of stinkers and dirty ports, but there are a few gems that show promise. I would've loved to see more titles leverage the storage capacity of the SegaCD.
This takes me back down memory lane. Shadow Squadron was quite possibly my favorite 32X game I owned. Also NFL Quarterback Club was a great non Madden NFL alternative. With it's kind of broken spin move. Virtua Racing Deluxe was cool racing game that added Prototypes and another stage. After Burner was awesome also. Deion Sanders played both in the NFL and MLB I'm pretty sure he is on the roster of NFL Quarterback Club.
Would've been cool if they'd have stuck 5-10 of the best 32X games on the last Genesis Mini they released. Would love to have After Burner, Blackthorne, Mortal Kombat 2, Shadow Squadron, Space Harrier, Star Wars Arcade, Virtua Fighter, Virtua Racing Deluxe & Zaxxon's Motherbase & maybe the modded Doom Resurrection. Can always dream

O 32x tinha tudo para dar certo,o problema é que ele não teve um ou dois grandes jogos para realmente chamar atenção.e também lançou meses antes do saturn,se tivesse sido lançado dois meses antes.
Sempre pensei o mesmo. Se tivesse saído um pouco antes e a Sega não fizesse seus consoles concorrer entre si, teríamos muita coisa boa. Uns jogos no nível do Game Boy Advance/Nintendo DS.
E também pelo auto custo na epoca, mesmo lançando dois meses antes como vc disse não daria certo, o proprio saturn comeu poeira na geração, apesar de ser um excelente adion, mas ele quiseram esticar muito a vida do mega drive.
Fugindo um pouco do assunto do vídeo, recentemente vazou um relatório da Sega na época que mostra que , tanto o 32x quanto o Sega cd, prejudicaram a sega, tanto quando financeiramente quanto a imagem da empresa.
Periférico feito para deixar o Mega drive superior ao super Nintendo até Consegue em hardware o problema é q foi lançado já em um tempo de transição dos 16 para 32 bytes e para piorar Tim um preço alto na época o que afastou muita gente desse periférico da SEGA que tinha potencial talvez para tornar o mega drive no melhor 16bytes da época.
@@jasonlee7816 Give us the arcade library that 32X Saturn and Dreamcast were capable of. They have failed to do so by giving us bits and pieces here an there and is bullshit with these arcade capable consoles at home. Please pardon my rant
@@jasonlee7816 What I feel like is that they could've made the 32x a budget stand-alone console for those who couldn't get a Sega Saturn rather than making it an add-on that requires a Sega Genesis.

Checkout Doom Resurrection and expect soon a port of Tomb Rider using either the Everdrive cart or the Mega CD. It will happen.
