@@mccauley845 Yeah funny me too,. maybe you can buy these things on another shop, the video uploader should have told us where to buy these stuff from.
I am over level 165 and I have 3 weapons with only only one that auto. The other two are manuel, and I test my weapons not only at Serpentis but Krix. I can rip the entire Crimson Fleet, and my shields have never fallen below 30 before recharging. My weapons are 1. The Vanguard Obiterator auto projector (must be fired manually) 2. PB 300 Alpha Beam (if you want to shoot manually), or you can pick the Auto Alpha Turrett if you don't want to shoot yourself. 3. The Obliterator 250MeV Alpha Turrett. There are also two options for these turrets for manual or auto fire. For this last one, you must be over level 61. All three weapons fire from a range of 3300. That is what you want, weapons that have a good range that you can not only continue firing but where you can target only certain parts of the ships. Rockets are no good. Also, don't forget to check the max power for each weapon. The Vanguard weapons Max Power is 2, which means you can equip 6 of these to your ship. Max power of 3 allows you to equip 4 additional weapons, and the max power of 4 allows you to attach 3 of those weapons. So, my current ship has 13 weapons, 5 engines, an Assurance 1800 shield, a hull at 1530, 90 mobility, and a cargo of 69K. If you use 3bSAL-6330 engines and 2 SAE-5660 engines, your ship can mive even faster. SF40 Sheared reactor and the apollow GV300 Grave drive (both the most powerful same as the shield which is the most powerful), you can melt an entire full squadron of Crimson Fleet ships even in you are surrounded. Serpentis is a great system to level up in, but if you want a little extra, go to Venus, sleep the 6 hrs, and attack the Crimson Fleet again. All these ships are between levels 65 and 90, and I am on the hardest level setting in the game. This video is great if you are not at the higher levels like I am. However, as you level up, the ship I built melts anything in its way, including spacers, Va'runn, Starborn, and the most powerful enemy ship in the game, the "Ecliptic Battleship Camulus". One last thing, don't forget to put companions on your ship that offer something to it. If someone has a shield boost of 3, you only have one 1 boost. Adding someone else with a shield boost equal or lower does not add to your boost. If you build the ship right, you can have a class C reactor at 46, and if you check your character, you will see your longest grave jump. My longest jump is 47 LY's
Carrying 2 of the giant C class (6 power) missile racks and leaving them just minimally powered is not a bad choice for those times when you're in stupidly close to a ship and need a quick finish on them - people make the mistake in thinking missiles HAVE to lock to fire (or that them being locked ensures a hit) - if you fire them and they contact the enemy ship, lock or not, they'll go boom. And the enemy ship will then go boom. Plus, switching to using the missiles as a quick kill shot gives your primary weapons (particles) an extra second or two to recharge as needed. Missiles aren't an "always have" option... but if you've got the mass available to mount them, they're not a bad option for the quick coup de grace type attack.
Save a game, use console cmds to pump money and use that save to do starship building tests. Dont be afraid to make mistakes. You need to build build build to git gud
The best way to build a good looking ship imo is to build your barebone ship first with habs and nessecary modules (because some parts are only available in specific vendor), then you go to ship builder in your outpost to have access to all the structures available. You can aim for a rocket with legs look or go wide in upper level for a jet fighter-like look. Some structures can make faux wings or attach the engines at the back of said wings. Hope this helps.
Dude Kepler r is a great ship to modify and you can really align all the ladders on it pretty well. I added a ton of habs/windows and now mine looks like a flying greenhouse
Bro I don't even understand what I'm looking at when I go to the create a ship screen. It's like my brain ejects out the top of my head. I have mad credits but zero clue.
You need 6, but vanguard obliterators are amazing. I have a modified razorleaf with the 39 power class B reactor and can add 4 turrets as well. Shreds everything.
I'm using the Obliteration normal PAR for front, the Obliteration turret PAR for back and sides and the Missiles. All top shelf pieces and I never had any issues in dogfights!
Having one of the longer range particle beam turrets is always a nice option: highlights the nearest enemy for you, can hit far enough to catch ships exiting grav jump thereby preventing them from ever raising their shields. If you enjoy getting into the fray pairing that with autocannons can help you shred enemies that get close. But there's always the option of overloading a missile system like the Hunter Mag or Infiltrator and leaving 1 pip of power in it for extended burst damage.
I put together a spreadsheet and calculated the DPS per unit power of each of the weapons in Starfield with the formula: > ( ( Hull Damage + Shield Damage ) * Rate of Fire ) / Power The best weapons came out as: Atlatl 280C Missile Launcher 132.000 DPS/Pwr CE-59 Missile Launcher 102.000 DPS/Pwr Vanguard Hellfire Autocannon 86.25 DPS/Pwr PBO-175 Auto Helion Beam 76.000 DPS/Pwr Atlatl 270C Missile Launcher 74.500 DPS/Pwr Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojector 73.150 DPS/Pwr The Vanguard Hellfire Autocannon is absurdly high DPS for a weapon that gets most of it's DPS from hull damage, and absurdly quick at shredding hulls. The Disruptor 3320 Neutron Turret came out at 48.333, the Dragon 261P SX Pulse Laser at 34.667, and the MKE-9A Auto Gauss Gun at 48. My personal optimal build is 6x Vanguard Hellfire Autocannon and 4x PBO-175 Auto Helion Beam, with 4x Nullifier 1750 Suppressor. Not factoring in range, the best Particle weapon is the PBO-175 Auto Helion Beam, the best ballistic weapon is the Vanguard Hellfire Autocannon, and the best non-Vanguard is the Jishaku AlNiCo RF Rapid Railgun, and the best laser weapon is the Reza 300 PHz SX Pulse Laser Turret. The best missile weapon is the Atlatl 280C Missile Launcher, and the best EW weapon is the Nullifier 1750 Suppressor. If you just need to kill one tough ship and don't mind the drawbacks of missiles and can spare the power, the best build might be 3x Atlatl 280C Missile Launcher, 4x CE-59 Missile Launcher, and 6x Vanguard Hellfire Autocannon or 4x PBO-175 Auto Helion Beam. If you haven’t already seen this in your play through there are legendary battleships to fight and they have high level starships guarding them they appear in the unsettled systems mostly
The weapon that I find that tears through all ships is the Vanguard Obliterator. I used to use the MKE 4 and 9 class, but I find this weapon more effective. I will agree with you on the Disruptor 3320 Neutron Turret because it's a monster. I only have trouble finding an excellent third weapon to replace my Atlatl Missile Launcher that deals close to 470 on shields and hulls.
I prefer vanguard object obliterater with helion beam and auto alpha turret. Problem with your build is it is close quarters. One group of four auto turrets keeps your rear and top safe. 6 times object obliterator and four times Helton beam used together erase any ship no matter how big well before it can enter the range of short range weapons you use. Opposing ship will be dust long before it gets to 1000 distance.
I've found that 2 weapon systems is enough for me, I take out the same level enemies in the same amount of time without them even getting close to breaking my shields, I use particle beams an missiles.
I don't remember which they were, but for a while I had (Ballistics?) Turrets that had a nasty habit of clearing out the fight before I got a chance to board something (ship farming). I also had missiles and some other ballistic auto weapon and they would make it seem like shields weren't a thing. Mind you, I was probably L30-50 and I've NOT completed the major questlines, so the weapons were likely available everywhere and I just chose the ones that I could have 3-4 of.
vanguard obliterator autoprojector and vanguard hellfire autocannon are the most op. Might seem counter-intuitive to have a class A weapon on a class B ship, but I'm shredding through ships faster than any weapon combination I've ever had. I can skip a third weapon but adding turrets facing the sides/back or missiles and leave it at 1 power is better than nothing. 6.65 and 7.5 fire rate, quick recharge and able to equip 6 of each is insane. I even use the autocannon for added damage against shields, since they recharge and fire so fast.
I like the build except for auto cannons. I agree they are no fun and not satisfying to use so I swapped out MISSILES for autos. *Missiles are fun and versatile!*
My ship has 12 guns total. And takes down (or, rather, chews up and spits out) level 60s. But on Very Hard difficulty. lmao. 2740 Mass 1523 Hull 4685 Cargo 130 Top Speed 100 Mobility 30LY Range and 10 Crew. Cost me just over 800k to design. Edit: I had recently decided to go through the unity for my 12th time, and finished revising my ship again. Its even better than it was, still 100 Mobility same top speed(actually, it goes like 180 with max output, and just over 600 with boost!), slightly more mass, and 11 crew now. But the damage output has been just about doubled. 🤣 Oh yeah, and i have 14 guns total, now. And just in case anyone wondering, no mods or creations, whatsoever.
Vanguard hellfire auto cannon and the Obliterator 250MeV Auto Alpha Beam are really all you need. You can find the auto cannon anywhere after completing the UC quest grunt work and the alpha beams you unlock at a certain level with piloting 4 I believe. This guide while being good for mid to low level have nothing on this setup. Bonus points for the 3rd weapon being an alpha beam turret array at the bottom of the weapons list. 3 level 72 starborn ships don’t get halfway through my shields before they’re gone
What i'm not clear on, is power management. If you don't have the weapon at full power, it does less damage and recharges slower, correct? You've got so many weapons on your ship that i see you're not powering them fully. Are they still as OP as you're saying at 50-60% power each?
Depends on the weapon. There are "normal" weapons which fire rate depends on the Power you put in them. For example the PB-30 Electron Beam. The there are weapons that have a "storage" which recharging speed depends on the Power you put into them. Those have "rapid" or "Auto" in their name, for example PB-30 Auto Electron Beam. All Missile weapons have a storage. Most weapons with storage cost was more than their "normal" Version.
if you want damage go with the vanguard questline ship parts you get after the second mission. they are, in my opinion, much better options. 2 power per weapon system means you can slap 6 on and the dps is substantially higher.
Yea, the best weapon I could find was the Vanguard Obliterator (but my search wasn't very extensive). Basically to calculate the dps you take the damage, multiply it by the fire rate, and then multiply it by how many of them you can add to the ship (12 divided by the max power of the weapon). So for the obliterator it was like 11*6.65*6 = ~440 dps. But the 3320 neutron turret mentioned here only gives you 29*2.5*4 =~290 dps.
I pair 6x Vanguard Obliterators (always firing) with 6x Vanguard Hellfire Autocannon (when the shields drop). Can't remember the last time I had a fight last more than 15 seconds. 🤪
Great informative video! I lucked up and boarded a class C Varuun with a 33 stat reactor. I've only come across level 55 ships, but it melts them in seconds. After a sheild upgrade and adding 2 more weapons, I haven't come across anything I can't destroy.
The pulse lasers do serious work but they run out of charge *really* fast. Fantastic call on the ballistics, they shred but I'm currently only using 2 of them. Particle turrets I was already using but with different weapons, I need to try out the disruptors but have found the PBO-300 auto turrets to be great. Slightly higher damage for slightly shorter range (3k vs 3.5k, 28.59 vs 24.69) but I mount them 2 fore and 2 aft facing so even when I'm focused on a different target the guy behinds me gets some too :) Nice work though, definitely appreciate it 👍
For the dragonfire is there a way to add a 3rd weapon in that empty slot. It eats ships but I want to board said ship and it just keeps blasting like it’s always sunny in Philadelphia.
The vanguard obliterator does more damage to shields per power used than any laser. It is simple math. ROF*shield damage/power requirement. At 38.37. It does the most shield damage in the game except the 251p pulse laser at 38.48. The difference is the obliterator does shield and hull damage.
Your ship could be even more deadly; there's better DPS options for all of these categories. A Reddit user put together a spread sheet with every weapon listed if you're interested. I included the link in a previous comment but looks like it got deleted 😢 My favorite's been the Vanguard Obliterator. The damage is outrageous and having 6 of them firing at once is awesome.
@@MYPSYAI That's what I thought too. the Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojector is a must and for turrets, I'd go for anything where I can have 4 of them but they must have as high a fire rate as possible.
@@thezanzibarbarian5729 honestly 6 obliterators and 4 of the class b autopbs and 4 of the class c autopbs. All 3 groups at the same time and all you have to do is tap it, so it works fine with 3 power to each group. You can even pull it off with a lower tier c reactor. Fire all 3 groups at once and you won't even run down the ammo before you nuke them. Turrets are unreliable, they just spread damage all over the place. Get barret on that setup too, he gives it +30% damage
They really do need a blueprint sharing option! That ship in the video is one that's in game, looks like he just changed the weapons. I captured one from some mercenaries but it's a nova ship I think.
@@joshuakern1274It has the double decker Nova bridge, but the way it joins the fuselage makes me wonder if it has some other structure parts in there. I have captured an Eclipse and a Va’ruun version.
Top 3 Highest DPS Ship Weapons: Hull: Vanguard Hellfire Autocannon (810 DPS, 6 Guns, LVL 1, Rank B, Ballistic) Hull+Shield: PBO-175 Auto Helion Beam (456 DPS, 4 Guns, LVL 48, Rank B, Particle, Starship Design Rank 4) Turret: Obliterator 250MeV Alpha Turret (387 DPS, 3 Guns, LVL 60, Rank C, Particle, Starship Design Rank 4) Hull+Shield Alternative: Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojector (439 DPS, 6 Guns, LVL 1, Rank A, Particle) Turret Alternative: Disruptor 3340A Auto Alpha Turret (304 DPS, 4 Guns, LVL 24, Rank C, Particle) These alternatives don't require Starship Design and can be purchased at lower levels. Disclaimer: I'm not saying these are the best weapons, just that they have the highest dps by sheer numbers and math. Concerning Lasers: I see no reason to ever use laser weapons since particle weapons out dps them for shield damage while also doing equal hull damage. The highest dps non-turret laser is the Dragon 251P UV Pulse Laser with 440 dps against shields only, while the Vanguard Obliterator has 439 dps against both hull and shields, and the PBO-175 has 456 dps against both. Recommendation: Only put 1 or 2 power (unless you more power to spare) into the Hellfire and split the rest between the others, since you'll only be firing it after knocking out shields. If you can't destroy the ship before running out of charge, or it isn't recharging fast enough between ships, then you may want to add more power for faster recharge. It does have short range, but it's great for shredding systems in targeting mode, which is short range anyways. Always leave at least 1 power in all your weapons so they don't lose their charge and cease to function. They'll still do full dps with only 1 power, since power only affects their recharge speed. This is only true for "auto" weapons since they have a magazine that can be fired freely. The non-auto weapons have slower fire rate and need to recharge between shots, so they need full power to get the most dps of which they are capable. Clarification and some repeated info: Since there has been confusion about this, "auto" is not the same as "turret". Turrets always have turret in the name. Auto weapons are manually fired and have high rate of fire and lower per-shot damage just like non-ship automatic weapons. Auto weapons also have a "magazine" that recharges. Non-auto weapons are slower and recharge between shots, but have higher per-shot damage. The benefit of non-auto weapons is that you can fire them forever without stopping to wait for a recharge, but they require full power for max dps, whereas auto weapons have full dps with only 1 power. Turrets fire on their own and can't be controlled other than how much power you give them. Flying Tip: The moment you see the missile warning, tap your booster and then cancel it with your thrusters. The missile will immediately lose track of you even with just a split second of boost, and even without Engine Systems rank 4.
Until shown otherwise, my always go-to is (6) Vanguard Obliterators + (4) PB-30's (I'm still only LvL 45) and at full power of 12/ea I took out the Blattodea with ease in a Class-A Ship (the Star Eagle, retrofitted and improved). I've been jumped by 4 Ships ranging from 30's to 60's and melted all of them easily. I just hold LMB+RMB until the Oblits are overheated then let them recharge while still holding down RMB since the PB-30's can sustain continuous fire. There's literally noting I've faced so far that can handle more than a few seconds of my weapon fire, and that's at max 3K range with ~650 DPS completely unskilled, as in I have zero points into Particle Weapons. "Wanting" to not be Team-PAR is fine, but you're leaving damage off the table by doing so and making fights last longer.
allow me to defer: the strongest manual weapons are ironically the chespest particle weapons, with the cheapest particle weapons, with the right build, you can one shot any enemy shield since they focus on damage output, yes, they have a fire rate of 1.5 - 4, but the damage output and the lack of weapon cooldown make these weapons totally meta since with a high fire rate weapon, you have to wait for cooldown timer of 5 - 10 secs after they overheat while with semi automatic ship weapons the cooldown after every shot is from 0.5 - 1 second, now, comparing them with the weapons used in the video: their hit range is 3000 - 3500 meters, and their damage per component is above 50 making them overally the natural best option... sorry bro... but this time you were wrong... though i cant deny that your build is preatty fun to play!
I like the vanguard obliterators which you can have 6 of and suppressor as a 2nd weapon for boarding ships. Only two weapons so I can have them maxed with shield without messing about exchanging energy pips
The UC Vanguard guns are the best. The Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojector is really nasty for low level characters. They only have a power of 2 so you can fit 6. That is 70 damage to hull and shields and with a range of 3000 and a fire rate of 6.5 they shred stuff. For class C there is the Vanguard Ares Particle Cannon. Again 2 power rating so you can take 6 and the range of 3000 and fire rate of 4 lets them shred ships fast as 6 does 113 damage. The Vanguard shields are pretty good too. So early game get the Obliterator and put them on the Razorleaf and when you can do class C get the Ares and put it on the Star Eagle (with a class C reactor added). I am currently running Starship Design rank 3. I am VERY impressed at what the Razorleaf can do when Upgraded. Really Class B and C are not that much better than class A. You mostly get larger ships with more hull points that can haul much more cargo, but that is about it. For speed, range, maneuverability, damage output... they are just not that much different. It will be interesting to see what Rank 4 will give me with Starship Design for both these ships.
Early game, I really did appreciate the Vanguard 11+11 shield and hull canons because they only used 2 power, so it was easy to have four to six of them running efficiently. But there gets to be a point you really need to upgrade.
Are you looking for 3320 neutron turret with that damage with that type of fire power but I cannot find it in any locations where they sell it, where did you find it where should I go???
hi thx i had no problem with blowing ships up in normal mode but in very had it's a different story.. same ship get destroyed by lvl 6 crimson it's a class c modified shieldbreaker with 2500 shield 250 mev obliterator turret etc (the most expensive ones from taiyo etc)
Interesting idea, I just can't get past the short range on the lasers, by the time anything is in range for ballistic weapons my turrets have already shredded their shields. I run particle turrets, particle guns, and missiles just for fun. I JUST captured one of those ships yesterday, kinda sucked for me, the day before I dropped almost 500k on customizing a narwal because it came with a better reactor than I could buy, a day later I capture this ship for free and it's reactor is even better and it comes with two engines that are higher level than I can buy at lvl 32 🤦♂
118 dmg for the disruptor? WTF. When watch it in my game, it does around 41. How on earth are there so hugh differences. Can't be all by skill (got the particle-Beam skill maxed out myself)? Are you playing in ng+ and those ship weapons get other dmg numbers in ng+?
HI! thanks for your video. it was great. I have a question for you as I am thinking of changing my weapons combo and would like your opinion of what is the absolute best combo if credits and levels are not an issue: I currently have the following 1. Atlatl 280C Missile Launcher, 2.MKE-9A Auto Gauss Gun and 3. Obliterator 250 MeV Alpha Turret, Is this a good combo? Obviously for me hull and crew are important. What do you suggest?
Can you board starborn ships? I am still only level 26 so not sure when they show up. I have a few powers now but really just started playing the main story. Have to do the vanguard story and crimson fleet as well. I think I am going to switch from main to those now so I can get the obliterators. The particle weapons are definitely OP but very hard space battle is so much more difficult than very hard FPS battle. Not sure why that is the case but I have gotten better KD ratios since I started using the particle weapons.
Test your ship, drop in on Kryx, Best weapons ,PBO- 300 auto Alpha beams,Obliterator 250MeV Alpha turrets and Atlati 280C missile launcher. I'm level 71.
Thanks for the tip on the place to test, I went to the place you said and got attacked 99% of the time, I just went from planet to planet, moon to moon.
I am level 69 and none of those weapons are available at Atlantis for me.........However I have NOT done any UC Vanguard missions so maybe that is indeed what must be done
TV, looks like you're missing 9 power (3 from a 40 reactor (level 58 minimum), 5 from Aneutronic Fusion rank 4, 1 from Vasco's crew Aneutronic Fusion perk).
Have you tried this design on the legendary battleships of the three enemy factions, well I have only seen three so far. Think it kicks off the spacer battleship and then the others spawn.
Wow... I was doing the outpost weapon case trick some and wanted to pick a new sector of around lvl 50 so that hopefully id get good, but not max lvl, guns and that Serpentis sector is what I chose. Got destroyed near the Key having no clue what I was jumping into along the way and then also destroyed here playing on very hard in my fat homeship. Nice to know that fight that so rekt me is really high up as far as space combat goes.
you don't need 3 different weapons. 3 hvy particle beams, 3 light particle beams. use the 3 hvy beams to clear lower level enemies then switch over to 3 light particle beams once that last, highest level ship is out of shields. target engines, board the disabled ship, kill crew, sell the take over :D
Has anyone came across a spacer battleship I've encountered 2 you need to take out the support ships 1st then go after the class m battle ship it is beatable
why not the PBo 175 Firingrate 6 and 22.8 Shield and Hull damage of one weapon. 4 of this one is horror :D and secundary PBO 50 with 6.65 firingrate ande 18 Hull/shield damage. Convince me if I'm wrong
Um how does your ship have 2880 shield? I'm on console and even with maxed out shield skill and the 3 star shield companion, my shield is still only 1600.
you also need the high tier turret perk to use them. Otherwise they won't shoot. Turrets always want a flat mount, or they can bug often. Also if you are using different type of weapons, like ur laser-ballistic combo, it mostly works, If you are shooting them each, not together. Here you wanna switch energy in between ur attacks. I think the most just don't want to. You also can use 6 vanguards obs and shred them from distance. As a Level 30 i have the same firepower with these and for the last one, i use the best EM weapons, to board the ship. So i have full power in shields, full power on weapons and 3/4 in engines, without any perk, except to fly class c ships. Especially the perk giving you more energy from your engine is so worth it in lower tiers, because reactors is what capping u.
They should have power profiles you set up out of combat (in the menu?) and cycle those instead of the manual pips each time. The system of individual moving pips (even long press for full system power up/down) is too cumbersome when multiple ships are firing at you.

Instant add to me Starfield Playlist to hit up when I jump back into it.
With the auto turrets, what if you don’t want to destroy the ship but rather capture it. Do you have to power down the automatic cannons to do this?
Yes
I put together a spreadsheet and calculated the DPS per unit power of each of the weapons in Starfield with the formula:
> ( ( Hull Damage + Shield Damage ) * Rate of Fire ) / Power
The best weapons came out as:
Atlatl 280C Missile Launcher 132.000 DPS/Pwr
CE-59 Missile Launcher 102.000 DPS/Pwr
Vanguard Hellfire Autocannon 86.25 DPS/Pwr
PBO-175 Auto Helion Beam 76.000 DPS/Pwr
Atlatl 270C Missile Launcher 74.500 DPS/Pwr
Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojector 73.150 DPS/Pwr
The Vanguard Hellfire Autocannon is absurdly high DPS for a weapon that gets most of it's DPS from hull damage, and absurdly quick at shredding hulls.
Here's my data with level requirements, class data, prices, other parts, and links for info on sale locations: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ajvOPlBCCTPeqytCpWU0ti9R7hBHGBVBEPQVokQfGSg/edit?usp=sharing
Thank you so much for sharing this. Great work.
Wow 🙀

Thank you !
Super underappreciated work. Thank you.
You da Man! Thank you

If you haven’t already seen this in your play through there are legendary battleships to fight and they have high level starships guarding them they appear in the unsettled systems mostly
TV out here slaying like the Roci. Love it!
Where can you buy all the weapons? I tried to do this at my outpost ship dock and I didn't have some of these weapons available.
That color ship is Fiyah!!❤️🔥
The weapon that I find that tears through all ships is the Vanguard Obliterator. I used to use the MKE 4 and 9 class, but I find this weapon more effective. I will agree with you on the Disruptor 3320 Neutron Turret because it's a monster. I only have trouble finding an excellent third weapon to replace my Atlatl Missile Launcher that deals close to 470 on shields and hulls.
This is an awesome looking ship, perhaps maybe you could do a quick pull apart so we could see how you designed it, and components you used?
Those weapons worked phenomenally
That ship looks sweet.
Looks a bit like a Ecliptic Claymore.
That's quite the Exotic Hand Cannon you have there!!
Why didn't you use missicles don't they do tons of shield damage?
I prefer vanguard object obliterater with helion beam and auto alpha turret. Problem with your build is it is close quarters. One group of four auto turrets keeps your rear and top safe. 6 times object obliterator and four times Helton beam used together erase any ship no matter how big well before it can enter the range of short range weapons you use. Opposing ship will be dust long before it gets to 1000 distance.
I had to comment because of the thumbnail. That's the ship I use with almost the exact color scheme. Nice
I've found that 2 weapon systems is enough for me, I take out the same level enemies in the same amount of time without them even getting close to breaking my shields, I use particle beams an missiles.
particle beams and turrents for me. you got a favorite missle launcher?
I don't remember which they were, but for a while I had (Ballistics?) Turrets that had a nasty habit of clearing out the fight before I got a chance to board something (ship farming). I also had missiles and some other ballistic auto weapon and they would make it seem like shields weren't a thing. Mind you, I was probably L30-50 and I've NOT completed the major questlines, so the weapons were likely available everywhere and I just chose the ones that I could have 3-4 of.
Keep it coming TV, it’s good to hear a familiar voice now that I’ve left destiny
vanguard obliterator autoprojector and vanguard hellfire autocannon are the most op.
But on Very Hard difficulty. lmao.
2740 Mass
1523 Hull
4685 Cargo
130 Top Speed
100 Mobility
30LY Range
and 10 Crew.
I believe that power level only effects recharge time. Anyone able to confirm or deny?
Depends on the weapon. There are "normal" weapons which fire rate depends on the Power you put in them. For example the PB-30 Electron Beam. The there are weapons that have a "storage" which recharging speed depends on the Power you put into them. Those have "rapid" or "Auto" in their name, for example PB-30 Auto Electron Beam. All Missile weapons have a storage. Most weapons with storage cost was more than their "normal" Version.
its so refreshing to see you doing other games. Awesome video on starfield ship weapons will be trying this out today.
Your suggested weapons not in my list. When I duplicate and place it says ERROR in red
Can you make a video explaining how you built that beautiful ship of yours?
It looks like a modified ecliptic claymore
He captured it. I have one just like it. Land in some level 75 moons until one shows up. It's a pirate ship, so no moral implications to capturing it.
Where did you get the cockpit from? Can't find it anywhere
if you want damage go with the vanguard questline ship parts you get after the second mission. they are, in my opinion, much better options.
@@JoeBob79569 Thanks for the Math and the info! You rock!
Slightly higher damage for slightly shorter range (3k vs 3.5k, 28.59 vs 24.69) but I mount them 2 fore and 2 aft facing so even when I'm focused on a different target the guy behinds me gets some too :)
Nice work though, definitely appreciate it 👍
For the dragonfire is there a way to add a 3rd weapon in that empty slot. It eats ships but I want to board said ship and it just keeps blasting like it’s always sunny in Philadelphia.
Great video, thank you.
Where do you get these cannons? My technician at Consellation is gone.
The vanguard obliterator does more damage to shields per power used than any laser.
It is simple math. ROF*shield damage/power requirement. At 38.37. It does the most shield damage in the game except the 251p pulse laser at 38.48. The difference is the obliterator does shield and hull damage.
Can the auto turrets be deactivated for when you're on your pirate grind?
Yess just power down the turrets and use only Manuel weapons
Your ship could be even more deadly; there's better DPS options for all of these categories. A Reddit user put together a spread sheet with every weapon listed if you're interested. I included the link in a previous comment but looks like it got deleted 😢
My favorite's been the Vanguard Obliterator. The damage is outrageous and having 6 of them firing at once is awesome.
Obliterator is so much stronger than what he's using. This ship is actually weak AF it's way too slow
Get barret on that setup too, he gives it +30% damage
that list would be awesome. what's the keyword to search on reddit?
@@MYPSYAIwhats the difference between turrets vs beams? Beams fire straight and turrets kinda following (tracking) a target? Thanks
This setup really does the trick . I encountered 3 Starborn ships at once many time and I just destroyed them.
I wish you were able to share ship builds so other people can download them to use. Hopefully they add something like that.
They really do need a blueprint sharing option! That ship in the video is one that's in game, looks like he just changed the weapons. I captured one from some mercenaries but it's a nova ship I think.
He already telling you everything God dam how much easier do u want things to be
@@joshuakern1274It has the double decker Nova bridge, but the way it joins the fuselage makes me wonder if it has some other structure parts in there.
I have captured an Eclipse and a Va’ruun version.
Your video is great,BHT i not have mutch skills for buldinf ship weapons, how u get this weapons for purchases, without gave proper level skills ?
Really appreciate this and the serpentis farm vid!!! Can’t wait to build and fight during my next play session!🎉😊
Loved the video TV keep them coming!! 🔥❤️
Very good info, thank you!
Do you level up starship design or starship engineer to get these weapons? Sorry if this seems a stupid question.
Just tried jumping to that system way too hard, I'm only level 33 😂
Would loved all that XP.
Change the difficult too easy and get a new ship
i have a question can you doc and steal a star born ship during a dog fight?
What difficulty should I set it at for the serpentis farm?
this is for exp only. if you want to board ships don't use auto turrets. use emp weapons instead
The problem is I'm only level 24 and only class A ship building skill. I can't take on really high ships. Bit confused here.
What kind of reactor you use for those weapons? Because apparently it takes a lot
When does the disrupter 3320 Neutron turret unlock cause I don’t have it. I’m lvl 27
Where do you get these guns? None of them are in my inventory
Top 3 Highest DPS Ship Weapons:
Hull: Vanguard Hellfire Autocannon (810 DPS, 6 Guns, LVL 1, Rank B, Ballistic)
Hull+Shield: PBO-175 Auto Helion Beam (456 DPS, 4 Guns, LVL 48, Rank B, Particle, Starship Design Rank 4)
Turret: Obliterator 250MeV Alpha Turret (387 DPS, 3 Guns, LVL 60, Rank C, Particle, Starship Design Rank 4)
Hull+Shield Alternative: Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojector (439 DPS, 6 Guns, LVL 1, Rank A, Particle)
Turret Alternative: Disruptor 3340A Auto Alpha Turret (304 DPS, 4 Guns, LVL 24, Rank C, Particle)
These alternatives don't require Starship Design and can be purchased at lower levels.
Yeah I'm watching his footage and 6 vanguard auto obliterators by themselves seem to do more damage....
Best advice yet sir. Thank you
Is the SUNSHOT your ship build or is it one we can find and modify in the game
allow me to defer: the strongest manual weapons are ironically the chespest particle weapons, with the cheapest particle weapons, with the right build, you can one shot any enemy shield since they focus on damage output, yes, they have a fire rate of 1.5 - 4, but the damage output and the lack of weapon cooldown make these weapons totally meta since with a high fire rate weapon, you have to wait for cooldown timer of 5 - 10 secs after they overheat while with semi automatic ship weapons the cooldown after every shot is from 0.5 - 1 second, now, comparing them with the weapons used in the video: their hit range is 3000 - 3500 meters, and their damage per component is above 50 making them overally the natural best option... sorry bro... but this time you were wrong... though i cant deny that your build is preatty fun to play!
Do you have a load out for only A level ships?
But there gets to be a point you really need to upgrade.
that is best to end game, 6 of them in calculator has the TOP damage
@@drobniaknot the top, just really good to get early.
@drobniak the problem is the recharge rate, which isn't a factored number in the stats
So no suppressors to nail their engines so you can capture your last enemy?
Are you looking for 3320 neutron turret with that damage with that type of fire power but I cannot find it in any locations where they sell it,
where did you find it where should I go???
I can't find them anywhere
Is your ship custom built or bought ?
Gonna try this. Going to that one 75 planet and killing Ballon looking enemies got old real quick and a waste of ammo imo
Nice vid helpful and nicely narrated. I just the right amount of fluff but still very concise. Nicely done thank you for your witk
hi thx i had no problem with blowing ships up in normal mode but in very had it's a different story.. same ship get destroyed by lvl 6 crimson it's a class c modified shieldbreaker with 2500 shield 250 mev obliterator turret etc (the most expensive ones from taiyo etc)
Where can I find these parts???
How do I assign weapons to group?¿
Where does the Sunshot ship come from?
HI! thanks for your video. it was great.
Can I put those on a star eagle?
Test your ship, drop in on Kryx, Best weapons ,PBO- 300 auto Alpha beams,Obliterator 250MeV Alpha turrets and Atlati 280C missile launcher. I'm level 71.
Thanks for the tip on the place to test, I went to the place you said and got attacked 99% of the time, I just went from planet to planet, moon to moon.
Meanwhile the Vanguard Pilot Exam ships are level matched 😂
I am level 69 and none of those weapons are available at Atlantis for me.........However I have NOT done any UC Vanguard missions so maybe that is indeed what must be done
TV, looks like you're missing 9 power (3 from a 40 reactor (level 58 minimum), 5 from Aneutronic Fusion rank 4, 1 from Vasco's crew Aneutronic Fusion perk).
Have you tried this design on the legendary battleships of the three enemy factions, well I have only seen three so far. Think it kicks off the spacer battleship and then the others spawn.
Where did you get the c class reactor that’s 37 power
When u get to higher ranks more options become available. I believe rank 60 is the max rank to unlock all possible parts.
What difficulty do you play on?
Your ship is dope. I love it.
280C missiles are one hitter quitters. Especially with the perk they will one tap everything.
Thanks perfect set up to attack💪
Has anyone came across a spacer battleship I've encountered 2 you need to take out the support ships 1st then go after the class m battle ship it is beatable
Great video 🙂 Not had much experiencing mixing up my weapons yet, how do you know how many of each you can equip and still have functioning?
why not the PBo 175 Firingrate 6 and 22.8 Shield and Hull damage of one weapon. 4 of this one is horror :D and secundary PBO 50 with 6.65 firingrate ande 18 Hull/shield damage. Convince me if I'm wrong
Get crew to reduce the cool down on weapons.
Can find a rank 3 shields crew member at Akila bar.
