I love Codos in the Cheyenne system. The Swamp biom is filled with red and green trees, yellow foliage and pink/white patches of sand. There are many spots with small lakes scattered around. All that with the planet of Akila big blue and white above your head (most hours of the day). It's just stunning. Also in Codos there is a beautiful place with a few small islands across the shore that are large enough for a small outpost. You get a marker there as part of the 'On the Run' quest (Freestar line of quests) but you can go there before if you know where to go. Also, the grass in Ixyll II is glowing in the night, nice planet there.
This was great. I spent the day yesterday flying from system to system looking for this very thing. I had forgotten how beautiful Cassiopeia was. Looking forward to your post on moon sites.
Hey you should take a look at Charybdis 2! The Coniferous biome is my favorite, but the swamps resemble Yellowstone ntnl park. And whether in the coniferous forest or the swamp, the lighting on the planet is really cool (imo) and makes every day look like a warm evening . The trees and foliage look like autumn/fall, so its perfect for spooky season. Reminds me of the rift area of skyrim! It has too much radiation to walk around without a suit, but it has some gorgeous views. Give it a look!
Hawking 1 is also a ultra-remote, fringe of space, prehistoric vibe planet. The planet is lush and gorgeous, especially the deciduous and coniferous forests. The aliens even look prehistoric. Try to find a place where deciduous forest clashes with the coniferous forest for the best effect. The trees in the deciduous forest are super tall and imerse you in the scenery. The planet is also not safe without a suit, but gorgeous and prehistoric nonetheless! Check it out!
I’m working towards getting to NG+4 at the moment, building up my powers, skills and then planning that to be my long play through where I’m building outposts, homes, exploring far more, crafting etc and generally doing my own thing. Videos like this are going to be really useful for that for sure.
I have two or three outposts just for the views. One is a beach house. Another is near a small lake. My favorite is a mountain retreat. I built a hab just for displaying all the coffee cups I have been stealing throughout the galaxy.
Not many resources to speak of, but I am loving my base on Kumasi I that is nestled in a ridge at the top of a mountain looking over some huge valleys. it rains quite frequently and it reminds me of the Washington state where I was stationed for some time, absolutely beautiful in my opinion.
I picked dream home perk once, and I liked Nesoi a lot, so much so that in a game without dream home I still build on it. Then again, I also have an outpost on Kreet, so I guess real estate isn't my strong suit. XD
I built my outpost extremely close to dream home that overooks the house on the highest mountain peak next to it. Its a little tricky to do, but with a little patience you can build an outpost including the biggest landing pad and a watchtower there and you can look up and see it all from your house
I have to say I absolutely love every video of yours I’ve seen. They’re very informative you going to every aspect that anyone could possibly want, for instance this one breathable air but gorgeous to live in. New to Starfield and absolutely loving it and you’re making it easy to make it personally my world
Awesome video! I have several high output resource outposts and still have slots to spare so I have been looking for new locations to build in for a nice home!
Great list with some planets I hadn't found yet (~260 hours in myself). Also, I like your idea of having different characters you play through! I will be doing this myself now. I only did my first NG+ on my main character and have been holding off on going into the unity again since, you always start over from scratch and then have to grind more. 😂
Hey this was a really nice video! You should make another one. I really enjoy exploring the united colonies and coming across gorgeous planets! But I look on RUclips to see what others think about and it gives me more understanding for the solar systems
I didn’t know you could build an outpost in the pre-established landing locations, I’m definitely going back to Cassiopeia 1 cause exploring that little valley was the highlight of planet exploration in the game
Landing on the planet Codos in the Cheyenne system at the Fortuna site then swim across the ocean to the other side you'll find great ocean view property just waiting for development you'll also find two resources, Aluminum and Beryllium. If you make your way toward the mountains you'll most likely run into pools of water like on the planet Hyla II. The only thing I don't like about Cassiopeia are those damn hard to kill rock monsters, they are everywhere.
I went there because you got me at ocean view lol. It is gorgeous and I swam across the ocean to a nice spot. But does it always rain and thunder there and sorta dark/dreary most the time? That’s the only thing for me. Or I just got unlucky with the weather there lately lol. It is beautiful though
You cannot build an outpost in that "paradise grotto" on Cassiopeia I 5:54 . I tried for quite a while during a live stream, and the closest I could get was like 400+ M away, and there was a hard line restricted area that cut my buildable area in half. Got my hopes up for building a home here in the grotto, but it can't happen.
Wouldn't it be nice if Bethesda made grid coordinates an option? I am searching Caseopia, or however you spell it, for the area you showed in your video but no luck thus far. Oh well.
I'm on NG+ and unfortunately the Dauntless crash site no longer appears for me. Great clip though and I'm going to seek out that site so I can build there.
For having the dream home with the storage crates it says the max is 180 but then when I start feeling it 149 of 180 is Max is there something I need a skill or is it just bugged?
We need an arc shaped ham module with the internal curve the same/matching as the large circular landing pad. Then we could ring it with wall/glass shaped habs Maybe some architectural modules that aren’t spaceship chic.
Everyone sleeps on Jemison, they never visit anywhere but New Atlantis and seriously miss out on one of the prettiest planets in the game, right under their nose!
I just want to get my ship right, fill out a full crew (NO CONSTELLATION - dropped Vasco off at Lodge asap and never went back) and then find a planet to build a home. Then I'm shelving the game until DLC'S and console mods drop.
There's so many planets as pretty or prettier than Casiopia. Go to the moon Valdimir has his house on, and find an island in the ocean just big enough to land on... almost always, the biome is a flat mesa covered in green grass, flowers and small colourful trees and shrubs, in the interior, ringed by large mountains, which then drop off dramatically much farther down on their ocean side, to a dramatic yellow and orange beach than meets light blue green water. Building a house atop the mountains, for those views, whilst still being able to scale the peaks up and down between a landing pad, and the mountain top living space, requires skilled placement of double store canvas looking habs... and you wind up with a LOT of them snaking up the mountain from the plain below.... but the views are close to the most dramatic in the game. If you cant get the described landscape to generate immediately, just find another island, guaranteed the aforementioned landscape will appear within a couple of landing tries. Scale the nearest mountain, and look down the at the views coast side.... listen to the soudscape of such a very high coastal mountain above a beach..... it is magical. I could go on, and I was about to, but then I realized that there is literally 20 planets I noted down as AWESOME for home, rather than a business, base... and none of them were mentioned here, and I am too lazy to roll with that. But if anyone wants to check out somewhere really cool... there is a moon... in ... Hawking... I think ... orbiting one of the .. Gas Giants... that is a desert planet... but with dramatic coast, and tropical oasis flora.... breathable atmosphere... and PURPLE sand. It is NOT the purple planet everyone talks about in these kinds video either... this one is WAY more dramatic, and beautiful... that one is worth checking out, even if you do not decide to build there, just to see how much more epic than dramatic than anything on this list, the planets in the game can get.
Honestly, ill just give you a cool list of some I have found in my search for a beautiful base spot and you can go see them yourself! You too @TrueVanguard, maybe add these to your next video hahaha: Syrma 7a - A moon of syrma 7. Deciduous, coniferous, and swamp are all gorgeous. Safe without a suit. Syrma 3 - Coniferous biome is great, have to wear suit. Hawking 1 - Deciduous and coniferous are best. Very lush prehistoric vibe. have to wear suit. Charybdis 2 - Coniferous and swamp are best. Very autumn/fall/spooky season vibe with evening lighting and fall colors. Have to wear a suit. Schrodinger 3 - Hills biome is very green and relaxing. Safe without a suit. Schrodinger 4 - Deciduous is my favorite, but coniferous is also really great! Blueish trees and grass and beautiful views. Have to wear a suit though. And lastly, a somewhat well-known destination: Tau Ceti 8b - A moon of Tau Ceti 8. You have to wear a suit, unfortunately.... BUT It has one of the best tropical forest biomes in the game (probably only behind hyla 2 as mentioned in the video), but its deciduous forest is also wonderful! And the best part about this Moon is the PHENOMENAL view of it's massive, blue, saturn-like "mother" planet which it orbits. The night sky of tauceti is perhaps the best night sky in the game. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk Good luck 'splorin' out there!
Archimedes V-A for me...Std O2 low gravity, great resources on planet and in system. The hills biome has sprawling vistas of cherry blossoms all with the gas giant Archimedes V huge and bright in the sky (when it's clear). The only issue is the water isn't safe. Edit: I just realized he shows a pic of it at 0:48
*Nah, Jemison has coniferous forest too, so I'd rather build an outpost home there next to a pond and elevated rocks. Or on the other side of the pond with New Atlantis in the distance.*
these are gorgeous paradise like planets... if u can do next a list of weirdo alien looking planets ... not necessary to support life ... just have nice weird atmosphere or some giant ring planet in the sky ... i've been looking for such thing but i'm still early in the game
I want to have houses at each of the four corners of the map (NW and NE most planets/stars, SE and SW most), and then I'd like one each in the furthest ones of N, S, E and W. Eight houses plus the manor one right in new atlantis should be enough, right? And Bethesda gave us 24 places to park your outposts, so exploration has to be done
Great places, but for me they are only trip destinations, the inability to build a safe with unlimited capacity, like the one in the room in the Lodge, completely disqualifies the point of building such a house. I don't want rooms cluttered with boxes that barely fit anything inside.
Sure storage can be a pain. But my ship has thousands of cargo space and it goes with me everywhere. On top of that I have one outpost with warehouses and storage piled high for any extraneous stuff, it’s basically a supply depot in a system in the center of the star map so it’s always accessible.
@@TrueVanguard Well, yes, I understand, but I was thinking more about things like suits and weapons and other small items that I don't want to sell and I also don't want to keep them in the cargo hold of my ship because they take up valuable space from resources. In all Bethesda games I had some form of infinite box in which I packed what I wanted and was fine, like the box in the Lodge. I know that you can create display cabinets for weapons or mannequins for suits, but if I wanted to display all my finds in this way, the entire outpost would be flooded with them. As for all the resources found, I also placed containers for them in one of the facilities, so it is not a problem.
i landed on a planet that reminded me of the grand canyon and now I can't find it. It's driving me nuts. If anyone has a suggestion then shout it out. Any I really don't think it was Montera Luna. This place had the deep red soil that makes you think of, well, the Grand Canyon. There was hostile wildlife too
Cassiopeia I shows what we lost when Bethesda dediced to go with procedurally generated planets. It's like being in Skyrim again, but it hurts, because you know the rest of the game is NOT like that.
Uh... First, how is it "clickbait" if Cassiopea is neither in the thumbnail nor is it in the title? I think you may not know what that word means. Second, you can clearly see the name of the planet in the lower left of the screen, you can't actually lie about that. And this planet is a well known oasis at this point. You have to make sure you click on the right biome from your starmap. You most likely traveled to the desert biome.
Just trying to inflate housing prices so he can sell and move to a better planet! Don’t be fooled! 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Damn realtors 😂😂😂
I love the moon Tau Ceti VIII-B. You can get beach front property with gorgeous trees and it’s a starter system, so easy going.
Thank you!!! Just what I was looking for ❤
I love Codos in the Cheyenne system. The Swamp biom is filled with red and green trees, yellow foliage and pink/white patches of sand. There are many spots with small lakes scattered around. All that with the planet of Akila big blue and white above your head (most hours of the day). It's just stunning.

Also, the grass in Ixyll II is glowing in the night, nice planet there.
Thank you for this. It’s been impossible to get advice on finding planets that are just nice.
This was great. I spent the day yesterday flying from system to system looking for this very thing. I had forgotten how beautiful Cassiopeia was. Looking forward to your post on moon sites.
Oh my gosh!!! This is the video I was hoping someone would make!!! Thank you, ots exactly what I needed ❤
Hey you should take a look at Charybdis 2!
The Coniferous biome is my favorite, but the swamps resemble Yellowstone ntnl park.

ty i found a nice spot on a plateau ^-^
Oh boy, now you've done it. A Starfield Realty channel :) I'm ready for more bud! Subbed!
Good stuff @truevanguard. I like how you make videos about having fun in the game instead of just rushing through everything. ❤
That very first one you showed is where I will definitely be building a home. Thanks!!
Heck yeah, enjoy!
Hawking 1 is also a ultra-remote, fringe of space, prehistoric vibe planet.

Check it out!
Nice, but has extreme climate, so you need the skills for that.
Do a video on a combo of planets and moons that are both gorgeous and good for resources.
I’m working towards getting to NG+4 at the moment, building up my powers, skills and then planning that to be my long play through where I’m building outposts, homes, exploring far more, crafting etc and generally doing my own thing. Videos like this are going to be really useful for that for sure.
Love the homage to SF writers. Roger Zelazny won the Hugo for best novel twice, which is breathing very rarefied air.
today i learned
I read all of Roger Zelazny's Amber series books and loved them. So glad to see him honored in the game!
Heinlein is also so honored
This is exactly the video I was looking for thank you!!
I have two or three outposts just for the views. One is a beach house. Another is near a small lake.
My favorite is a mountain retreat. I built a hab just for displaying all the coffee cups I have been stealing throughout the galaxy.

Codos - moon of Akila is a really beautiful place. You go there to meet Marco during Freestar collective mission.
Hylla II has the bonus feature of residing in a system that's flush with minerals of all kinds.
man ive been lookling for this video for weeks so frustrating finding a NICE planet
All of these places look amazing.
I picked dream home perk once, and I liked Nesoi a lot, so much so that in a game without dream home I still build on it.

Nesoi is great !

Love your awesome take different subjects TV. Always a worthwhile watch
Jemison is very underrated, have a real nice forest outpost there
Awesome video! I have several high output resource outposts and still have slots to spare so I have been looking for new locations to build in for a nice home!
Absolutely awesome 👌 ❤
Casiopea I = 110% = AMAZING!
Thanks!
Appreciate this! Great job! Sub earned.

The planet in Syrma that Vlad's house is on has a pretty autumn vibe too
I built my 1st outpost there!
great video, love stuff like this
I built a outpost across the lagoon from the resort 😊 beautiful view with a few resources too.
This is sick! Love it
I didn’t know you could build an outpost in the pre-established landing locations, I’m definitely going back to Cassiopeia 1 cause exploring that little valley was the highlight of planet exploration in the game

Location, location, location.
Awesome! just finished my Freestar Ranger arc and I'm ready to get out there and make a retirement home lol
Very fine. More of this pls
You cannot build an outpost in that "paradise grotto" on Cassiopeia I 5:54 . this video is right up my alley, I feel bad sending my crew members to outposts that are freezing or just a terrible place to live lmao
For having the dream home with the storage crates it says the max is 180 but then when I start feeling it 149 of 180 is Max is there something I need a skill or is it just bugged?
I built my main outpost on Eridani 2, because it's the planet that is Reach in Halo Reach
We need an arc shaped ham module with the internal curve the same/matching as the large circular landing pad.
Then we could ring it with wall/glass shaped habs
Maybe some architectural modules that aren’t spaceship chic.
Unfortunately I can't seem to build an outpost in that beautiful valley on Cassiopeia...only on the outskirts with no view of it :/ Any Tips?
Everyone sleeps on Jemison, they never visit anywhere but New Atlantis and seriously miss out on one of the prettiest planets in the game, right under their nose!
Can you do a video on planets that are the most Alien-like?
When it comes to outposts. I really think we should be able to take over one of the many abandoned outposts once you clear then.
It is much better and more fun to build an own outpost!
That was a good list !
Why would you not show the location of the number one pick? I mean for those who may not know its location. Good list otherwise
3:31 anyone know the name of the gun he is using here?
Breach shotgun
There's no crash site when I'm looking can you show me exactly where to land
i liked archimedes 3, bohr 2 and mesada (i think 3), but i havent settled yet. i'm still searching but my home is the key
I just want to get my ship right, fill out a full crew (NO CONSTELLATION - dropped Vasco off at Lodge asap and never went back) and then find a planet to build a home.
Then I'm shelving the game until DLC'S and console mods drop.

That boost pack is the pinnacle of beauty 😂 like your own backpack minion
Do the Va'ruun at Eren's Camp keep respawning?

Alright lets play Space Hearthfire! Go!
Can I book a stay at one of your retreats through Expedia good sir? 😎
lol ill have a listing up shortly
Today on House Hunters Intergalactic!
Imagine my surprise when I was looking for a better home-world whilst residing at Cassiopeia
*Nah, Jemison has coniferous forest too, so I'd rather build an outpost home there next to a pond and elevated rocks. Or on the other side of the pond with New Atlantis in the distance.*
I'm going to build my home away from home on Eridani II, mainly because it's Reach from Halo.
these are gorgeous paradise like planets... if u can do next a list of weirdo alien looking planets ... not necessary to support life ... just have nice weird atmosphere or some giant ring planet in the sky ... i've been looking for such thing but i'm still early in the game
I know it's pretty M for mature, but is there any chance you'll cover Cyberpunk?
where in montara luna you built the rangers retret
I actually built a home next to Vlad's house, so I can either go to my home or Vlad's home... Two in one.
I want to have houses at each of the four corners of the map (NW and NE most planets/stars, SE and SW most), and then I'd like one each in the furthest ones of N, S, E and W. Property taxes to the UC? I have 2 outposts and have no tax requirements. Not sure where that gameplay comes in.
Great places, but for me they are only trip destinations, the inability to build a safe with unlimited capacity, like the one in the room in the Lodge, completely disqualifies the point of building such a house. I don't want rooms cluttered with boxes that barely fit anything inside.

It was Toliman. Check out the mountain regions
Hey guy I’m looking to build an outpost for a home and and sorta want it by an ocean
Serpentis 3 is cool but it doesn't have a breathable atmosphere
Cassiopeia I shows what we lost when Bethesda dediced to go with procedurally generated planets. It's like being in Skyrim again, but it hurts, because you know the rest of the game is NOT like that.
Once you build a basea start to bring in currency. Will pirates and mercenaries come in and try to take it over
Why Arent there more planets like this😢
The last planet looked like f*cking Pandora lol
You can't build on locations of Sarah and others. you need to get away like 400 m. :(
Pyraas II sand desert area. Thank me later :)
Yeah no just because Sarah says it looks good doesn’t mean it actually looks good. It doesn’t.
I love the tax comment
Pre apocalypse earth had more water than the entire universe 😂.
Annoying how few bodies of water you get with the procedural system.
sarah who?
casiopeea 1 is fake. clickbait. I searched that area there is nothing there like that paradise. only desert.
Tell me a single ONE location in this cassiopeia area where you are actually allowed to build tho. This is a joke bethesda
Happy u hopped off the d2 grind that game is trash
From one dead game to another
Sadly cant build ab outpost anywhere arround erens farm. The mountains there and thr lake is awesome tho 🤤
im gonna settle down with andreja and leave the exploring life behind 🫶🏽
