    Here's another tip guys! If your decorating your home and notice that once you leave and come back and see that some of your decorations have sunk and clipped through the table, here's how to fix that! After placing your decorations for the first time, just leave out the front door and come back in, then just re-place your items where they have sunk and clipped and your good! They should now stay right where you originally intended them to be with no other issues! Hope this helps somebody, it sure did me! :)

    Outposts have been a colossal pain for me. I want so badly to care about them but I can't because there is no workshop where you can just store all of your shit in the collective ether (a la fallout 4) without worrying about building 100,000 chests to hold all of it

    I am still a little bummed is that I have to research all the furniture. It would be far more comfortable to be able to by everything if you only want to have an apartment and not a full outpost. It’s a heavy investment for a proper bed.

  • @Random_Banshee
    @Random_Banshee 7 месяцев назад

    The absolute best way to rotate items precisely is not to rotate them at all. Instead line up the screen (i use the yellow line at the bottom) to a straight line in the game, swap to the next listed deco, swap back to the desired one, and it will be ultra accurately aligned, to the millimeter. Much much faster than the fidgety rotation as well, only use that for rough random placements.

    I’m on pc and even at its lowest the rotation speed is still aggravating. There should be hard grid line binds for everything that you can snap directionally too, and then choose to unbind and rotate at will. It’s wild that same thing only snap bind and can’t be adjusted and others you can’t align perfectly because they won’t snap at all. Infuriating. To me at least. Still enjoy the game though at 200 hours in.

    So can you address how to put stuff down and NOT have them clip through? I place a bunch of stuff, then I come back and they are all sunken in or lost. Some items will only go onto middle shelves with holding it, not from build menu since it needs to connect with a surface.

    • @ZigamusRainbowWizard
      @ZigamusRainbowWizard 3 месяца назад

      It also has the creation kit. Skyrim was sort of like this, you had to be a rather skilled 'crafter' to get what you wanted out of it OR be very good at using the basic 3d creation tools outside the game and then import the new item into the game. Was a hellish process, but it DID allow you to bring new items into the game. Like the T.A.R.D.I.S, the weapons from various games, even characters from other games.
