Thank you SEW MUCH I was so upset about my lettering, not understanding this machine, you have really helped me to learn to enjoy this,I plan on playing more.
Love the design and your demo…I just received my first embridery machine, the PE800 for Christmas. It has really been quite easy to learn. When threading the machine you have to make sure that the pressor foot is up and the needle is in the highest point using the up/down needle button. Also, there is a scissors icon next to the up/down needle where the machine will cut the thread for you. Thanks for sharing!
Great video, I love that you go through the whole process and that it is not perfect. Just as if you are doing this at home. Thanks and greetings from The Netherlands.
So you don’t have to match the bobbin thread with the top thread? I’ve been doing that. Thanks for showing that you don’t have to change it out with each color.
Great content. Quite explanatory. What if I want to use a single thread colour for the entire design what do I do. I noticed my machines stops after the first colour but I'll like to use a single colour for the entire concept
These questions are old but maybe my 2 cents will help someone. This machine is for embroidery only - it does not have a sewing mode. You can download & then use decorative embroidery designs as long as they’re the smaller ones that fit in the hoops for this machine (4” x 4” for sure, & maybe a bit bigger). To make some of your own designs, or add to/combine downloaded ones to make a new design, you need digitizing software or something like the Brother or Baby Lock 10-needle machines (very expensive) that allow you to scan in simple line designs. Anything more complicated & you’d likely need to hire a digitizer. Wishing you tons of fun & prosperity as you “make” the world a better place w/ your creativity. 🎉❤
does anyone know if there is a way to use an imported font without having to go back every single time? It seems that I can only use one letter at a time. It gets time consuming and confusing. It is also hard to get the letters in the exact right spot when embroidering names or words. Any advice helps!
Would you say that this machines embroidery display is better or worse than the baby lock verve? Also, the eversewn sparrow x2 uses an app. Do you their app is better than this display?
Hi I just came across your video. I am thinking of buying this machine and was wondering now how you like this machine? I've read a bunch of reviews that this is not a very good machine. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you
So I loved your video, very nice explaining it and easy to understand. I'm VERY new to the PE550D and still very confused and lost on how to do some things so I was wondering Can you purchase bigger size hoops for the Disney PE550D ? And is there a way to monnogram Letters (initials) on the machine to make one letter one size then the middle letter bigger and so on? Thanks again for the video.
Hi thank for your tutorial. I have a question what is the base color you use in the bobbin for your whole project when there is different change color on the top thread thank you 😊 🙏
TY! I pretty much always use white. Commonly, you will find bobbin thread in white, black, and maybe off white. You do not change it for different colors of top thread as that would be tedious and is not necessary.
Mine doesn't have that I-Broidery on it, exact same model. why do you nor use a conversion program, That you can convery any picture into an embroderty file?? Rather than pay for single designs, you can do anything as many times as you want,
Hi apparently there is an extra payment of brother software for downloading external designs. Did you have to buy this or is ot not necessary. Love the vid and thank you in advanced
Ty~ Is there ever a need for the round frame? I’m going to be addicted! I haven’t even gotten started it already want a bigger machine that does 8 x 8 Lol 😂
Hope you’ve had tons of fun embroidering. Did you ever get that machine w/ the larger design capability? I find this small machine rather limiting… I’m seriously considering a 10-needle. I’ll need to work it as a side hustle to pay for it but I’m game. 😊😅

Really informative video. I'm confused by the fabric piece you used on the arrow. Do you have to do that or could you have made this without that blue fabric?
This video is pretty old but maybe you're referring to the stabilizer. In my opinion, it's absolutely necessary. It gives "stability" to your embroidering...sometimes it's temporary while it's being created and some stabilizers stay in there forever to "help out."
@@VianneyCreates Not the stabilizer on the back. I'm talking about the piece of blue that is on the arrow and you had to trim it with the special scissors. Is that a stabilizer also?

Hi Vianney, I don’t know anything about embroidering but I was going to buy when I saw it on HSN. I think I’m, going to purchase now. Why did you need to use fabric? TFS....It came out so cute! Love it....
This is a good entry level one that has a lot of great options. Really great machine. It's almost foolproof. What do you mean by "why did I use fabric?"
Can you make small appliqués? Like small enough to put on a crochet cup cozy? Im trying to find the right machine to make what i need. Can you make your own designs and load them in? If so what kind of program would i need, or what online site can do this?
I'm not sure what you mean, but any embroidery machine can do appliqué or "lace work." It depends on what your design tells it to do.
