How do you convert an image from your computer to the correct format to work on your embroidery machine?
That is what I thought this video was going to be also. This was nothing but taking a design already in the proper format and putting in the machine.

I have a Alliance single needle baby lock which I received last week, so I have tried with flash drive and cable to transfer my dsign but it's not allow me. it just shows on screen you have no connection with network or with cable to strate to the machine from computer it's showed you don't have enough MG. Hi I hope you can see my comment... I have an ult 2001 embroidery machine, it works fine but I want to copy the designs I have in the embroidery cards I bought from Brother to my computer so I can use them in a new embroidery machine. How can I do that? I have the card reader but it seems it works for the empty cards only not the ones that have already designs on it.

You need to have a special code for the machine to read it. He downloaded already coded designs from a website. I’m sure you don’t know how to code so find someone that does. Then you can upload your design and the machine should be able to read it

@@pujaa9954 if you have Adobe illustrator you should be able to code it there but if you don’t know how then pay someone on Fiverr to do for you.

Brother usually reads PES format :)
so how do I get my logo into a PES format I have been trying all day to figure it out and I am about to throw my computer out of the door

Hi Mary, that would best be answered by your local Brother dealer. If your machine reads “cards” they might suggest a card reader/writer.

Video was a little too simplified. Why did you only drag & drop 2 files (for Brother machine I guess) but you didn't say what you saw in those 2 files to drag & drop. Maybe because the video is old but I don't see the "links" in the "description" so I can watch video of how to download. Yes, I totally new at this but I'm having trouble finding the "Machine Embroidery for Dummies" videos.
