Thank you so much for all the information in this tutorial. I recently purchased a babylock embroidery machine and was having issues trying to figure the transfer process out.
Respected Lady Instructor, yr video regarding TRANSFERING A DESIGN FROM COMPUTER TO EMBROIDERY MACHINE:-- Liked yr above video and the computer era information. Information you provided is useful/interesting/ informative and keeping oneself uptodate. You described well and video fully clear even on my mobile screen. THANKS Vatsa India
Thank u, I did everything u just did, sew I want to stitch my design out but it came up saying, this pattern can not be used!!, what’s next, help, thank you.
This is all very well and good BUT how do you do this with a floppy? I am 85, living in a nursing home, and expecting my FIRST great-grandbaby. My quilt for this baby (due next month) is ready to have designs put on it in the blank spaces so I need someone to help me. I need to know how to get the Menus on the floppy. Should have gone with the USB but I can't afford it. Can anyone help me??? I can get designs on the floppy but don't have the Menus on it to organize them. Please.
I need help. I ordered a verve from my retailer and I'm searching for software to create my own designs so I asked me retailer and she tells me it doesn't work with the verve? What is the USB port for if I can't import? Did I just waste my money?
The Baby Lock Flourish can hold many designs, we can’t give you an exact number because all designs are not the same! Designs that are larger with a lot of stitches will take up more memory than smaller designs that are not stitch intensive. No worries though, because the Flourish has a convenient USB port where you can introduce new designs and even save some of your favorites! Just use more USB drives is you exceed the capacity at any time!
I would love to know how to print out a design from the machine before I stitch it out. Can you point me in the right direction on where to find this information? Thank you.
Hi Leslie! Thank you for asking! Printed templates are so nice to be able to see the color/size/position!! You'll just need basic embroidery software to be able to print your designs out. You can purchase something as basic as Designer's Gallery MonogramWorks (or the like) or FontWorks is a really great program too (and you get a lot of great fonts with it too)! And of course, there are programs up from there that have lots of different capabilities with sizing, editing, and digitizing as you move up. Visit your local Baby Lock retailer to learn more or designersgallerysoftware.com/ Happy embroidery!
I can’t load an PES file of 192kb on a babylock machine. Is this file too heavy? If so, what can I do to continue working with the file without dividing the design?
Hi Peg, designs from a computer can be transferred to the Ellisimo Gold using a USB or the direct connect cable. If you are asking if you can edit the designs, there are a lot of editing tools built into that machine as well. :) We hope this is helpful.
I have an older EMP6 that I purchased from an acquaintance. I have attached the usb cord to my babylock. The designs won't transfer to the machine. The memory card is a larger sized card that I've never seen before, however the machine says that there is a problem with the card. I am very new to babylock. Do I need a special software? I have went to the babylock website to update also but nothing seems to work. Need help.
@@missy4225 The EMP6 is a machine that is well over 20 years old and there have not been any updates for that machine in quite some time. You are always welcome to reach out to our team to see if they can help in any way. 1-800-313-4110 or email at productsupport@babylock.com.
I have everything in folders organized by the website I got the design from. Can I transfer to the machine with it in folders or do they need to be just the individual files out of folders on the USB?
Hi Patty! Unfortunately, this item is obsolete. Sorry! You can find lots of embroidery software classes over at Sew at Home: sewathomeclasses.com/software-classes

@@babylocksewing I have a lot of questions. I'm feeling like I made a mistake purchasing because I can't get answers to my questions. Why cant I import designs I've created to my verve
Well it can be 15 if the designs have alot of color changes. Or 40 if they are all simple. One step, one color. So it depends on how simple. I use this system on my brother 180. Machine.
I need this info too. I just bought a chromebook just to use with the embroidery machine. I really want to eliminate using usb sticks. Any help would be appreciated.
Yes, you can! That process is called digitizing. There are embroidery software programs that can turn artwork into stitch files. Baby Lock embroidery machines read .pes files.
Hello! Thank you for asking! You can scan clear line artwork and have the machine turn it into embroidery stitches with the Baby Lock Destiny IQ that is built into the machine. What do you mean that it is no longer supported? Does that mean I bought a piece of junk that I will never be able to use new designs on?
