It's a game. You agree to play by the game mechanics when you sign on. The better player got the mob in the end. That's how it works. It's a fucking game for fun.
I've killed every rare multiple times. Here's a couple more tips: 1. When one rare in a zone spawns, every other rare in that zone spawns as well. If you are quick you get multiples. 2. Get NPCscan overlay as well 3. When you see something tagged don't leave immediately. I've seen dozens of people die to these, especially the dread wastes and vale ones. 4. Spawn time is 45 mins - 2 hours 5. Make a .bat file to launch WoW that deletes cache every time
I love how people are butthurt about this. The other one choose to do AOE damage! If he would has stay on Nanners and solo target it like a smartass, there would have been absolutly no way to get threat from those mobs kripp was gathering. He put himself into trouble.

We got our glorious asoneofthefirst to get it and we had a blast doing it. We played on different servers and ported between the two. It was so worth it. We got our achieve and all of the novelty items but one, while we each have our own of a few of them. It is so worth it guys! pm me w any question
A blackwissy tip from me. 1.Get the overlay addon for npc scan. u will get the patteren for each rare on map and on minimap. 2. after u have deleted creaturecache.wdb file u log back in. Then u log out again so ur file is fresh. Then u mark the file Read only. so now u will never have to delete it again. The file will refresh if u log out and in.
A bit of a dick move, but I might do the same if I really wanted the tag. A little tip on the rare. Every zone have a pack of rares, and there spawn seems to be linked. Meaining they all spawn togheter, so to get the rare to spawn in a zone. All of em need to be death. And then after a set time, they respawn all of em.
Oh man, Kripp. Our guild just transferred to Sargeras. If you did that to me I'd be pretty pissed, but at the same time - being a hunter - if I can't handle the packs I probably should have cleared them or pulled to an area with less mobs.
If only taunt mob kiting would actually cause resets. I dragged a guys Rare a pretty good distance and it turns out they don't reset that way. Downsides to being a Warrior.

Asshattery! Normally I don't like it. But recently I've seem many do whatever it takes, and I've found my self saying "WTF! If this is how it's gonna play, I'll return the favor!". I've seen this a lot in crossrealm zones, it seems to me, the majority of players just shit on their reputation, the moment they see a player from another server. Add to that, increased "Need"-rollers in PUG's through the dungeon finder. Nonetheless, nice handling of the situration ;)
Griefing your own faction? It's quite lame. However, that was a brewmaster monk there, it's almost impossible to die with that class. If he managed to die as a brewmaster, he didn't deserve the kill in the first place imo.
Its a rare mob, you have to be on your toes and kill that sucker fast before anyone comes. And if you do have trouble with killing it just simply invite near by guys that want in. People whine so much when MoP came out, and still whine when you tag a non-elites for a simple quest. If you want to QQ about a rare spawn, cry about Galleon and just how long it takes active pvp severs to battle for a kill. But hey that's just blizzard's way of creating more chaos and competitiveness in MoP

Bottled Tornado is a trinket that shoots you up into the air. As an engineer you can use goblin glider to fly forward and get to places others can't.

I do this to the opposite faction on my realm, don't see why all of a sudden you can't do it to the same faction.

No. There is this blue guy by the water. When pulled he spawns tornadoes and it's hard to dodge that with major nanners' going bananas.
There's another adding called silver dragon that will send guild alerts for rares found. Useful adding to use with npcscqn

For quests you could use /cast [@pet] misdirection, combined with the MD glyph. It is amazing for solo pve stuff.

I've done this for a bunch of stuff, rare mobs, trillium nodes you name it, except I just like to md them....
