I actually met this guy in Miami at a place called “Icon Brickell.” He was super cool and treated me like family. We need more brothers like this.

@@nateb9103 I have, but luckily she earns her own money. Not much though, she's still a student. She puts aside €300/month and that pays for our vacations, twice per year.
And luckily my income has increased quite a lot since my original comment. Now ~45% of my income goes to rent.
How did your income go up recently? Also saving 10% consistently is a great start.
@@jackjack4412 Went from a temp. contract to fixed/permanent contract. That came with a 4% bonus and through our collective employment agreement we got another significant increase. All together my salary went up by 10,05%.
And there's another increase coming in July this year (+3,5%). Brining the total increase to +13,91% (comparing my December '22 salary to my new salary in July '23). Which is nice... Because inflation is crazy over here (The Netherlands).

Additional having 5 Bank Accounts makes almost no Sense if youre working normally with a fixed income from One thing (employe)
I mean, for everyone else how about starting with a savings account first. See if you can put a little bit of money away for a few months in that account without touching it, then move up to investing etc. Gotta start somewhere, if you can see your money add up each month that’ll motivate you to go that step further and then you can set up other accounts
My first goal is 10k a month. Once that is reached, I'll start to play the game more dangerously. I'll live off 30% even if it puts me on hard mode for awhile. I don't want to become complacent in a lifestyle that isn't the best it can be. I like this method I'll keep it in mind, and in journal.

Yep I’ve had 5 accounts for about 10 years. They just don’t have that much money in them . But I’m ready
Just have two.
A high interest savings account for the money you’re not using and an everyday account for income and expenses.
Third if you want an emergency fund.
Idk about FIVE bank accounts, but you do have a helluva lot more money than me lol but for myself:
1.) Checking/Savings Account (Bill/Lifestyle)
2.) Business Checking Account
3.) Investment Account (Roth IRA and Brokerage)
That's five there. Checking, Saving, Business Checking, Roth IRA, and Brokerage are all different account types. It's counted by account not by institution.

I am 50yo and invest anything not used for running the house monthly. I have invested of 20yrs. I have lost a whole lot early on, but last 12 or so years I have done amazing. Growing my own knowledge in career, and investment was worth it all. I am leaving generational wealth.

I have much more than 5 accounts and I have no formal system on allocation 😂. I feel like if you are involved with your money they build up and you have to par them down once every couple years. Most of the money is in my main HYSA with the next three largest being the HYSA offered by my brokerage, a brick and mortar savings account, and my main checking account. I have misc. accounts like Wise for travel and a few business accounts as a result of past investments.

I went beyond that strategy. Besides U.S. credit unions, I also have foreign residency, and foreign bank accounts! People do not realize, once you deposit currency into a bank, it's no longer your currency, it's the bank's currency. There is a difference between being rich, and being wealthy!

Instead of 5 you can just use 4 one for income and monthly payments second for clothes and accessories third for groceries and forth for investing and everything else like transportation, travel and electronics but if you get married then make a joint account for living expenses

3. War chest - investments 50%
4. Tax account - 15%
5. Baller account - 5%
your also diversified if there is economic collapse and some banks fail! Smart stuff!
