To be fair, there are better rivers to sup in Portugal. Zêzere and Tejo are good ones, the further north you go the more interesting they get. Guadiana is lovely between Mértola and Alcoutim too.
Hey Mike, normally I sup surf near Faro/Vilamoura but we only really have waves in the winter. West Coast is where it's at but it's busy in summer. Check out this great French guy who runs instagram.com/sygmasupschool?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

What an amazing advebture Nick! I wish I could join you guys one day!!
Thanks Luca
Great video Nick! I love seeing the off the beaten path activities. The paddling part looks amazing and great fun. I’ll pass on the camping haha.
Hehe, yeah, there are some amazing GLAMPING places in the Algarve these days. That may be a lot more comfortable.
So cool. You started at Vale de Guizo and Barrosinha restaurant next to where I live. Cool trek. Just starting myself so this was cool. Thanks
No ways, you live there? Thanks for the comment, I just rewatched that video... Really good times! Although it was a cold hard slog through the mud.
@@AlgarveAddicts Yeah that Sado mud is evil :) looking forward to watching your next SUP adventure
I'm looking forward to doing it! 😎👍🏼
LOL was just gonna go to ur channel and ask if there was any nice rivers in portugal for supping, and you have this video :)
To be fair, there are better rivers to sup in Portugal. Zêzere and Tejo are good ones, the further north you go the more interesting they get. Guadiana is lovely between Mértola and Alcoutim too.
@@AlgarveAddicts is there any small ones in algarve?
Yes, Rio Arade (about 12kms of paddleable river) and the Guadiana as above.
I think we are copying some of your routes this year. Looks amazing!
Thanks guys 🤙🏼How do you mean doubting the routes?
@@AlgarveAddicts oh no, i ment “copying“. Sorry.
Cool, if you need any help let me know. 👍🏼
